A New Friend

Tammy shut the bedroom door before turning to Kimmie with a wide smile. "Pinch me, I'm dreaming," she said as she plopped down next to Kimmie on the bed, "Ouch, I didn't mean literally." Tammy rubbed her arm as Kimmie giggled next to her. "At least you know you're not dreaming now." she grinned while Tammy just shook her head. "Yeah well, out of all the scenarios that we went over, this never once crossed my mind." she told her. "Oh you mean living with the man of your dreams, whom you're so madly in love with?" Kimmie teased, giggling a little when Tammy's mouth dropped open. "Shut up," she said, covering Kimmie's mouth, and pushing her to her back, "he might hear you." she hissed, trying to hold back her smile as she sat on Kimmie's stomach. "Get your big ass off me." she groan, pulling Tammy's hands away from her mouth. "I'm not that heavy." a mischievous smile came out as she pushed her weight down a more, and wiggled a little. "Not that light either." Kimmie tried to push her off. "Maybe you shouldn't have pinched me." Tammy stated, not budging. "You told me to." she finally got her pushed off, Tammy landing on her butt, with a thud, on the floor. "Oh, my ass." she groaned through a smile as she rubbed a cheek.

Brian's eyes snapped up to the ceiling at the sound of the thud, but quickly dismissed it when the giggles floated down the stairs. He smiled and shook his head before plopping down on the couch, and clicking on the TV. What the hell was he suppose to do with the rest of the day? Usually he's occupied at the school all day. He sure as hell wasn't going to sit here, and watch this daytime TV crap. With a sigh, Brian shut off the TV, and headed to the one place he always ended up finding himself. He flicked on the light at the top of the basement stairs, and headed down. It was a finished basement, and he turned the biggest room into a make-shift home studio. Even though him and his friends weren't in a band anymore, the music never really left him. Brian grabbed one of his guitars from it's stand, and plugged it into an amp before sitting in his chair. He turned on his computer, and started recording before plucking out a melody he hasn't been able to get out of his head for days.

The girls chatter quickly quieted as the song floated up so clearly through the vent. "Is that Brian?" Kimmie half whispered as they got a little closer to the vent to hear better. Tammy smiled and nodded, "They use to be in a band." she told her. "Really?" she questioned in disbelief, and receiving another nod. "Him, Jimmy, Coach Sanders, Officer Baker, and Dr. Doolittle. I have some of their songs. You wanna hear them?" Tammy asked, getting up off the floor. "Uh, yeah." Kimmie replied with a tone that told Tammy she should have known that. With a small chuckle, Tammy walked over to her bag, and dug out the Chapter Four demo. It was her favorite one. She put the disk in her stereo, and turned up the volume. "Oh, wow. Is that Coach Sanders?" Kimmie asked once the lyrics started to play. It sounded like him. "Yep." Tammy said with another grin. "They were really good. Why did they stop?" she continued to question. "Parents." Tammy said dully before a knock interrupted them. Just as the sound traveled up the vent, it also traveled down.

Tammy opened the bedroom door to see Brian there, arms crossed, eyes narrow, with an investigative look on his face as he leaned against the door frame. "Where did you get that?" he asked. A wide smile came out on Tammy's face, "I'll give you three guesses, but you'll probably only need one," she said, her smile turning teasing at her pause, "Synyster Gates." Brian shut his eyes, and shook his head, but couldn't keep the small smile from coming out. "Ima kill that fucking gnome." he mumbled getting a couple of giggles in return. "Awe, leave the little guy alone. He was so proud of your band, and was extremely disappointed when you guys called it quits." she told him. "He wasn't the only one." Brian confessed softly. "Why don't you guys start it back up? You guys were really good." Kimmie asked motioning to the stereo, joining in on the conversation. "It's in the past." Brian shrugged it off. "Is it?" Tammy cocked a brow at him. It didn't seem like it. He was still playing. "I'm hungry. Lets go get some food." he quickly changed the subject. He really didn't really want to think about the biggest mistake of his life. He'd probably be married with a family started by now.

"Fuck that, I'll make something." Tammy said kind of eager to get back into the kitchen. Cooking was always one of the few things that would help her clear her mind, and just forget about everything that was going on. Even if it was for only a short time. "BBQ bacon cheeseburgers." Kimmie quickly spoke up. She's been craving one for days. Tammy looked at her friend with a smile, as Kimmie nodded her head with her own wide grin. "That actually sounds really good," Brian agreed, "It's a beautiful day, I'll fire up the grill." he said as the girls followed him out of the room, and down the stairs. Tammy followed Kimmie to the kitchen, and Brian went out the back sliding glass door to start up the grill. Tammy opened the fridge, looking for everything she would need. "Sweet, he has everything." she said as she start pulling the food out. "I may have influenced his grocery list," Kimmie told her, "look on the bottom shelf." she pointed down over the refrigerator door. "MT. DEW!" Tammy squealed, quickly grabbing a can out of the case. "Oh you sweet, sweet, sugary goodness. Oh how I've missed you." she said before taking a huge gulp. "Damn, you'd think you missed that more than me." Kimmie teased knowing it wasn't true. "Almost." Tammy grinned.

Kimmie stood off to the side as Tammy got everything ready. She put the meat into a bowl, and seasoned it. "Wash your hands, and dig into that meat, and mix it up." she told her. "Ewe." Kimmie giggled a little as she washed her hands. "Would you like to slice onions? I need them really thin." Tammy asked her. "No." Kimmie said simply with a shake of her head. "Didn't think so." Tammy smirked as she looked for a cutting board, and finding it quickly. "My knives," she looked at Kimmie with slight panic in her eyes, "did you get my knives?" she asked. "Top drawer." Kimmie motioned with her head. "I knew there was a reason I loved you." Tammy said, opening the drawer, and seeing her knives rolled up in their case. "And here I thought it was my magnetic personality." Kimmie said with a little sarcasm. "That too." Tammy gave her a peck on the cheek before she started slicing the onions. Kimmie wiped her cheek with her shoulder, feigning disgust, and getting a mocked look of offence from her friend before the girls erupted in giggles again.

Brian walked back into the house, the laughter floating through the house made him smile. It was nice to hear and see them so happy. He finally felt like he did things right. "Grill's going." he said as he walked into the kitchen. "Good, wash your hands, and help Kimmie patty that meat." Tammy ordered. "Are you always this bossy in the kitchen?" Brian asked as he walked to the sink. "You have no idea." Kimmie muttered with a half smile. "Fuck you guys. Can't take the heat in the kitchen, get the fuck out." Tammy said, not looking at them as she mixed her onion ring batter. "See." Kimmie said when Brian joined her, getting a chuckle from him and a finger from her friend. "Do you have a deep fryer?" Tammy asked, looking around, and not seeing one. "Cupboard above the fridge." Brian told her. "Okay, do you have a step stool." She wasn't short, but she still couldn't reach that. "I'll get it." Brian said going strait from the meat to the cupboard. "What are you doing?" Tammy let out suddenly, stopping him mid motion. "Getting the fryer." he said slow with an unsure tone. "You have raw beef all over your hands. Go wash them." she told him, arms crossed, with a duh tone. "I see." Brian told Kimmie as he walked to the sink instead, getting a giggle out of her.

Brian washed his hands, and then got the fryer down. "Thank you." Tammy said when he set it on the counter. "Oh my God, you can be polite." Brian pretended to be shocked, getting another giggle from Kimmie. "Yeah well, don't get use to it." Tammy stuck her tongue out at him. "You know, you'd attract more flies with sugar." Brian said as he returned to the meat. "And you can attract even more with shit. What's your point?" Tammy countered as she tended to the fryer. "Nothing." Brian just shook his head. "Good move there, giving up like that." Kimmie told him. He wasn't sure, but the slight teasing sarcasm in her voice gave him the feeling he was being fucked with. Of course when those smiles came out, it only confirmed that suspicion. "You guys done with those?" Tammy asked once she had the fryer plugged in, and warming up. "Yep." Kimmie said as her and Brian stepped back, hands in the air like they were in an operating room, and were just gloved. Tammy looked over them, a slight frown coming across her lips. "They're supposed to be round." she said flatly. "Those two are round," Brian pointed out, "I did those." he added with a proud smile. "Oh, you want a metal, or a chest to pin it on?" Tammy's sarcastic reply wiped that smile away, but only for a second before it was back out. "Both." he stated. "Wendy's burgers are square." Kimmie also pointed out. "That's right." Brian agreed putting his fist out that Kimmie happily bumped with hers. "You guys are dork's," Tammy said, but couldn't keep a strait face, "Wash your hands, and get out." she chuckled.

Brian and Kimmie happily obliged, playfully fighting over the sink, so one could get out faster than the other. Tammy, patiently waiting her turn with much amusement on her face. "See ya." Kimmie hurried out of there without even drying her hands. "Bye." Brian was quick to follow, hands also still wet. Tammy just chuckled, and shook her head before washing her own hands. "Swear, you want something done right, you gotta do it yourself." she mumbled to no one as she fixed some of the patties.

Brian followed Kimmie out the back door, "This is nice." she complimented the deck built up around an above ground pool. "Thanks, I made my friends help build it." he told her as he went to the grill, and she went to one of the patio chairs. "Well you can't pass up free labor." she said. "Ha, it was hardly free," Brian chuckled, checking the temperature on the grill, "Those asses made me feed them, and provide them beer to drink." he told her. "Still cheaper than hiring someone." she said. "That's for damn sure." he agreed as Tammy finally joined them, the tray of burgers, and spatula in hand. "Excuse me." she said to Brian, who was in her way. "I don't even let Matt touch this, and he's the grill master." he told her. "That's nice." she said simply, pushing him out of the way with her hip before she started putting patties on the grill. "Give it up." Kimmie yelled from her seat, kicking back in her chair. Brian frowned, but decided to let Tammy do her thing. "Don't fuck anything up." he told her, getting a look that said she had this. "Yeah, yeah, go sit down, and enjoy the day." she said as she shooed him away with the spatula.

Brian walked sluggishly over to a chair, and plopped down. What the hell was suppose to do with himself. He wasn't use to not being in charge of his own grill. Tammy got all the burgers positioned, so they would cook evenly, and shut the lid. "Don't touch that." she said before disappearing back into the house. Brian sat there, leg bouncing. She's just going to leave them? What if she's gone to long, and they burn? Maybe he could just keep an eye on them. "Don't do it." Kimmie said when he stood up, eyes closed as she soaked in the sun. Brian ignored her, and continued to head for the grill. "She'll know." she continued to warn, but still he, just wanted to peek. "Hey! What did I say?" Tammy's voice sounded from the glass door just as he opened the lid. "I was just making sure they weren't burning." Brian defended, stepping back a little. "They're not. Now go sit down." she pushed him towards a chair with one hand, since she had bacon in the other. "Fine." Brian groaned before slumping back down in chair to a giggle Kimmie. "Told you." she cracked one eye open to look at him. "Only cause she caught me." he shrugged her off. "Still told you not to." she mumbled with a half smile, closing both eyes again as she continued to enjoy the weather.

Tammy flipped the burgers when they were ready, and added the bacon to the grill before closing the lid. "If you're touching this grill when I come back out, you're getting served last." she warned Brian trying to hold back her smile. "Sorry I thought it was mine, you know since I paid for it." he said, leaning back in his chair, giving up anyway. "It was." Tammy let that smile come out before skipping back into the house. She still had to drop the onion rings, and get cheese and a tray. Brian semi-patiently watched her go back and forth, not really knowing what to do with himself. Of course when she came out a final time, burgers fully plated, dripping in BBQ sauce, and topped with onion rings, he quick forgot about that, and remembered his empty stomach. "These look amazing." he said when she placed plates in front of him and Kimmie. "Thank you." she said, finally taking her own seat.

They didn't just look amazing, they tasted amazing too. He was pretty sure it was the best he had ever had. "Alright," Brian started, wiping his mouth with his napkin before throwing it on his now empty plate, "You can use my grill whenever you want." he said getting a couple more giggles before a woman's voice drew all their eyes to the back door. "They're out here!" the blonde, that looked like she was about to give birth any second now, yelled to someone in the house. "Val? What are you doing here?" Brian immediately got up to help her to the table. "I came to meet the girls." she said with a wide smile. "But, I said give it a few days." he reminded her. Brian told everyone to give Tammy a few days to get settled, and comfortable before she started meeting everyone. He should have known she wasn't going to listen. She always does what she wants to do. "Sweetie, I know." she simply patted his cheek as she waddled right past him. " Give it up, dude I already tried. There was no stopping her." Matt said, also walking right past him catch up with her. She was waiting in the driveway for him to get home from work. He didn't even get to go inside the house. Of course that was because she knew once he was in the house, it was going to be a lot harder to get him back out.

"Hi, you must be Tammy," Val stuck her hand out to the redhead, "I'm Val, Matt's fiancé." she introduced herself as Tammy shook her hand. "Kimmie?" she moved her hand to the blonde, getting a nod as she shook it. "It's nice to finally meet you. I've heard a lot about you. Even before all this." she said as Matt helped her into her seat. "Oh," Tammy started, a smirk coming out as she looked at Coach Sanders, "You talk about your students a lot?" she asked. "Oh all the time," Val answered for him, "especially that little Grace girl that has the hot's for him. So cute, she thinks she has a chance." she smiled with a dismissive shake of her head. Like she had any reason to be threated by a little high school girl. "You know about Grace?" Kimmie asked, both girls a little surprised. Most chicks would be cool with that. She was obviously a woman very secure in her position. "Oh yeah, I think it's hilarious." she said, her infectious smile catching on to the girls. "I find it annoying." Matt grumbled. "Awe, then maybe you shouldn't be so handsome." Val teased him, grabbing his chin, and shaking his head gently. Matt rolled his eyes as he pushed her hand away, feeling his cheeks heat up a little. This was a side of his life he doesn't show his students, and he didn't really like it. He could tell by the looks on their faces, they were holding back laughter, or sarcastic comments. Probably both. He wouldn't put it past them.

"So you guys see that too huh?" Val asked, turning her attention back to the girls. "Oh yeah, her and Scarlette." Tammy sent a teasing smile Brian's way. "We can just leave her out of this conversation." he didn't return the smile. "Oh come on Brian. Lets talk about Scarlette." Matt joined in, glad the attention was off him. "Lets not," Brian said as he stood up, "I need a refill. Anyone else want one?" he asked, getting nods from the girls. "I'll take whatever you guys were eating that smelled so good when we walked in the door." Val spoke up, getting smiles from both men. Of course she would go to the food. "There's still a couple burgers in the kitchen." Tammy told her. Val looked at Matt with a sweet smile, batting her lashes a little. "I'll get you a plate." Matt chuckled as he stood, and kissed her on the head. "Well isn't he sweet." Tammy said when they disappeared into the house. "Oh yeah," Val agreed, "I know he likes to put on this big, bad, tough guy act at school, but that's only to get you guys to respect him. Really he's just a big ol' teddy bear," she said, letting out an adoring sigh as the love of her life came back outside with her second love, right now anyway, in his hands, "My Mattie Bear." she smiled. "Awwwe." both girls let out. That was so stomach churning cute. "What are you guys over here awing about?" Matt would soon regret to ask as he set Val's burger down in front of her. "Mattie Bearrr." the girls, yet again in unison, teasingly let out, making kissy faces at him, causing both Val, and Brian to burst out laughing. "Oh my God, woman, you didn't?" Matt ran his hands down his face. "Oh I did." Val said between her laughs.

Matt plopped down in his chair, dropping his plate on the table. "If that gets out," he started, looking at the two girls with stern eyes, "I know how to dispose of bodies." he warned. "Ooooo." they mocked, wiggling their fingers at him, getting more chuckles from the spectators. "I like you two." Val smiled before taking a bite out of her burger. "I'm beginning to not." Matt again was grumbling. "Oh, quit being such a grumpy bear." Val continued in on him. "Yeah, Mattie Bear. Quit being such a grumpy bear." Tammy couldn't help herself. "Alright lets gets one thing strait," Matt had finally had enough, "she is the only one allowed to call me that." he said, pointing to the woman that cause this all. "Lightin up Mattie Bear." Brian too took a shot at him. That was when Matt's irritation was turned to him, "If you had an Xbox, I could get away from this shit." he said, and Brian just shook his head. "You and that Xbox." Val mumbled with a roll of her eyes before diving more into that cheeseburger. "I have an Xbox." Tammy told him. Brian's eyes went wide. The look on his face, not believing she just said that. The look on Matt's face saying he was going to get so much shit for this. "Really Haner, it took a girl to bring a game console in this house," he started in on him, "That's it, I'm taking your man card. Maybe Tammy can teach you how to be a dude, and you can get it back." he finished, crossing his arms with a smirk on his face.

"Who says gaming is just for boys?" Tammy got a little sassy, narrowing her eyes at him. "I didn't mean-" Matt only got cut off. "You know over half the gamers in the world are girls. The only reason it's believed to be a boys activity is because of Nintendo." Matt put his hand up stopping her right there. "We will not be speaking poorly about the company that made the greatest game franchise ever." he dismissed her. Zelda of course. "Well it's true," she was going to tell him anyway, "Back in the eighties when they stopped marketing their console as an electronic, and started to market it as a toy, they had to choose a side. Toys were already divided up by sex, so boys are who they chose." she told him matter of fact, leaving his mouth slightly agape. "Ha! Fuck you bitch. I get to keep my man card." Brian shot at him. "How the hell do you know that?" Matt completely ignored his friend. She wasn't alive in the eighties. "Adam Ruins Everything." Tammy said with a slight shrug and smile. "What is that, a TV show or something?" Val asked, getting a nod. "He's chuck full of useless bits of information to ruin the things you love." Tammy told her. "I'll be sure to miss it." Matt mumbled, and Tammy just stuck her tongue out at him.

"So, you girls have any plans after high school, college?" Val got back to the reason she was here in the first place. To get to know the girls. After all they were part of the family now, and she was going to treat them as such. "Actually we were planning on starting our own business." Kimmie told her. "That sounds interesting. What kind of business?" she questioned, sounding and looking genuinely interested in them. "We wanted to do this two in one catering/photography company." Tammy said kind of proud of their plan. People like one stop shopping, and if you can get two services in one, who wouldn't jump on that? "There's really good market for that, doing things like weddings." Val said getting nod. "That's what we were thinking. Anniversaries, Bar Mitzvahs, I can do kosher." Tammy and Kimmie shared a smile. "Oh, so are you the chef then?" Val asked, but Tammy didn't get to answer. "She made that burger you ate in one bite." Brian cut in with a smirk. Oh if looks could kill.

Matt immediately jumped out of his chair and backed away to get out of the cross fire. "Dude, if she kills you, it's your own fault." he told him, hands up in the air like he wanted no part of this. "It's okay, baby. Sit back down," Val motioned him to his seat with her finger, all the while not taking her eyes off Brian, "I'll let it slide this time." she said. After all, she did blatantly ignore his request, and showed up here unannounced. However, the look on her face was telling him he better never, ever go there again. Tammy and Kimmie both sitting there, not knowing if they should be nervous or amused. However, when Val finally pulled her eyes away from Brian, and looked at the girls, the smile back on her face, everyone visibly relax, and Matt slowly crept back to his chair to sit down. "Do you guys have any experience," she returned to her questioning, "It would look really good on a business loan application if you don't plan to go to any kind of business school." she told them.

Tammy frowned slightly, "No, not really." she didn't even think about that. "I'm doing Aaron's senior pictures tomorrow." Kimmie spoke up, not realizing the direction she just turned this conversation to. "You are?" Tammy looked at her surprised. "Yeah, we talked his parents into it last Friday." she told her. "You've met his parents?" Kimmie could start to hear the contempt in her friends voice. Guess she had not choice but to tell her now. "Well, we have been dating for a few weeks now." she said quietly, looking away as she tucked some hair behind her ear. "You have?" Tammy's eyes looked like they were going to pop out of her head as a new tension started to form from somewhere other than Brian's stupid mouth. Kimmie nodded, and Tammy's face went blank. "Oh." she said, trying not to get mad about just finding out now. Kimmie just didn't know how to tell her. She knew Tammy didn't like him, but she couldn't help it. She did. A small fake little smile came out on her friends face. "I'm happy for you." she said, the tone of her voice not believable at all.

Tammy looked away from her friend, catching a cocked brow from Val. Her face telling her, she could see right through her. So she wasn't happy. She didn't like Aaron. She didn't trust him, and until he proved that his feelings were genuine, and he wasn't going to hurt Kimmie, she wasn't going to like him. She'll just tolerate him for now. "Oh I know," Val got back on subject to cut the tension, "You can do our wedding." she suggested with a look like she just had the best idea ever. "Really?" the girls asked completely shocked. Matt's "Wait, what?" falling on def ears. "Yeah, it'll be fun, and you'll get some experience. What do say?" she asked. "Um, excuse me." Matt again was ignored. "We'd love to." Kimmie told her, Tammy nodding in agreement. "Great, it's settled then." Val said, completely satisfied with the decision. "Hey! Do I get a say in this?" Matt finally got loud. The three women looked at him like he had just asked the most asinine question ever. "Um, nooo. This is her special day." Tammy told him in an obvious tone. "Yeah, my special day." Val agreed. "Oh I'm sorry. I thought WE were getting married, and it was OUR special day." Matt defended, only getting giggles, and head shakes. "Silly little man. That's cute though." Kimmie teased him as the girls giggles got louder. "Nice to know I'm not the only one saying stupid shit." Brian snickered at him. "Whatever. Can we go now?" Matt grumbled. He was still in his work clothes, and was so ready to go home. "Fine." Val finally let him have his way.

"I should probably get going too." Kimmie stood up. "You're leaving?" Tammy stood as well, the disappointment, and desperation of wanting her to stay, clear in her voice. Kimmie's expression softened as she pulled her friend off to the side a little. "I just don't like leaving my mother alone yet." she said softly. "Okay." Tammy's face was still disappointed, but she understood. Her mother was trying to get better, and she wasn't going to keep Kimmie from helping her. "Soon, I promise." Kimmie hugged her tight, getting a nod before they said their goodbyes. "You want a ride?" Val asked as everyone headed inside. "Um, sure if its not too much trouble." Kimmie said. "No, it fine." Matt told her. He may want to go home, but he wasn't going to make her walk. "Okay, thanks." she said as she followed them out the door.

"Well she seems nice," Tammy said once everyone had left, "you up until she was going to rip you in half." she smirked. "Yeah, I probably should have kept that one to myself." Brian sighed. "Uh, yeah." Tammy plopped down on the couch, and grabbed the remote. "Hold up," Brian intervened, "I let you take over my grill, but the remote is mine." he snatched it out of her hands, getting a pout. "But Ancient Aliens is on." she whined a little. "You believe in aliens?" he asked like really. "Yeah, doesn't everybody?" she asked like their existence should be common knowledge by now. "Um, no." Brian said obviously. "Then maybe you should watch it. I might change your mind." she suggested, getting cozy on the couch. "Doubt it." he said, but left it on anyway, and sure enough three hours, and three episodes into the reruns, he was completely engrossed. "You know, they actually have some inter-" but he stopped half way through when he glance over and seen she was asleep. Brian smiled a little, turning off the TV, and tossing the remote on the coffee table. Should probably hit the hay anyway. It's been a long day, and he had to go back to work tomorrow.

Brian move Tammy's feet which had somehow ended up in his lap, and stood up. He didn't even remember that happening. "Hey," he gently shook her shoulder to wake her up, "come on, lets go to bed." he got a groan out of her. Tammy rolled onto her back, but didn't open her eyes. "Carry me." she put her arms up, a small smile ghosting her lips. "Aren't you a little old to be carried?" he asked, instead grabbing a hand to help her sit up. "Gee, I hope you don't tell your wife that when she asks you to carry her up the stairs." she finally opened her eyes, and also stood up. "One, you're not my wife. Two, I'm not that stupid." he assured her as they headed up the stairs. "I don't know. You said some pretty stupid shit today." she teasingly reminded him. "Okay, so maybe I can be." he said, smiling at her giggle. "Thanks again, Brian. For everything," Tammy said once the reached the top of the stairs, "goodnight." she surprised him with another hug. "I'd do it again in a heartbeat." he whispered, returning that hug, "Goodnight." he said when she pulled away before disappearing into her room. Brian let out a sigh before heading to his own room. He brushed his teeth, and crawled into his bed. Sleep coming easy now that he finally felt like everything was right.

Notes

Yay update :) So I was going to do the next day, and bring Johnny back in the story, but I decided to do the rest of the first day, and bring Val back in. I have big plans for her, coming very very soon, and I want people to like her.
TV shows:
Adam Ruins Everything is on TruTV and Ancient Aliens is on the History channel. You know if anyone wants to check them out :) As for me, it's 5:45 in the morning and I haven't been to bed yet. So I hope you enjoy, and leave some nice comments. My bed is calling my name :)

Comments

@Kimmie
This totally made up for the wait :)

First Brian. He's just not use to having to hide something like this like Tammy has. She's had her crush for awhile and is use to hiding secrets and actions. Some of what he does is completely innocent, just trying to make her feel better, but the other he just doesn't know how to deal with or control it. But like I said in a previous comment...someone is about to gum up the works.

As for Tammy turning on the bitch switch with Kimmie, she knows she fucked up. First day back was an uncomfortable shock to her and she took it out on the wrong person. But I think the little pep talk she got from her favorite teacher will help.

And finally Matt. What can I say about this poor broken man? It's going to take some time for him to get over this. The love of his life is gone now and he just doesn't know how to deal. It's not something someone just gets over. Eventually he's going to see though that there's someone else out there that can love him just as much if not more :)

always love you long comments Hot Stuff <3

OK first, I'm sorry I'm "sooooo late" with my comment ;-) :P
Here goes! Get ready!

Brian, my friend, you are getting onto thin ice. Getting in between a funny back and forth between friends? Asking for a HotStuff (don't be jealous of the girl friends man, not cool), checking to hear if you are still hot? Putting your hand on her thigh? HOLDING HER FUCKING HAND?!!?! Brian, you are soooo deep in right now. And you fucking know it. If you really aren't ready to admit yet, you shouldn't even get in everything I mentioned before and try to pretend to be a grown up man who doesn't have a quickly developing crush on his fosterchild. Don't get me wrong, I can't wait for him to fall of the wagon, but for the storysake and the "it's all wrong"-sake... you should at least pretend :P

Okay, I can skip the school stuff right? I mean, she doesn't want to move away from Brian anyway and everything else was just.. well.. maybe she'll make it anyway, but who cares... I have more important stuff to get to.

For the first time this story I kinda didn't like Tammy. She was selfish instead of supporting her friend. I don't really like Aaron, but for now he is nice to Kimmie and so are his friends. I get all the issues Tammy always had, but she had no right to go off on Kimmie like that. That's just mean. I know I know, she had her reasons. I know she's been through a lot, but I still didn't like it. Kimmie didn't deserve it.

Oh, one thing more about the school day... I do love all the sarcastic remarks. But you know... that's your writing. You make it seem so effortless and I know it's not, but just take the compliment, okay? You make it seem so so damn lifely, and I really feel like being there. Like standing there watching the scene. It's amazing.

Allright, let's get to my man Matt. My heart breaks everytime you write about him. I know it's too soon to get better, but I really want it to. I hate seeing him hurt like this. Trying his best over all his grief. I really can't stand seeing him like this. But I love how Kimmie knows this baby stuff. How she so easily gets the baby to be quiet and calm. And what I like most about it is that she isn't solving it for Matt, but teaching him how. But damn, just fix the man soon, I can't take it.
And here's a small peek of the fangirl.. I can't wait for Kimmie to spend more time with Matt and Aiden, taking care of the small guy.

I hope this comment makes up for me being not here on the first day. I'll just end with what I always do.. Please, Please, Please write! I'm begging you, this story makes my day, my week, my life. I want to read more now things are looking up!

Love you lekker ding! <3
