The Start of a Suspicion?

Simultaneous eye rolls were shared between the girls. Tammy and Kimmie let out bored sighs as they turned around with no enthusiasm. "Can you make this quick? I can feel my IQ dropping already." Kimmie asked as the three stooges approached them. "Shut up." Grace snapped when they got close. "Oh nice come back. Did you think of that all by yourself?" Tammy asked like she was talking to a little child. Grace shot her a glare, "This doesn't concern you, so why don't you walk away." she suggested. "Yeah, cause that's gonna happen." she received a sarcastic reply. "Whatever." she said with an eye roll before focusing back to Kimmie.

Another bored sigh escaped her matching the look she was giving Grace. "What's this about? We're kind of busy." she asked, crossing her arms, and tapping her foot impatiently. "Aren't you suppose to be in class anyway? You don't want to get dumber." Tammy asked, grinning when Kimmie snickered next to her. "Do you ever stop talking?" Scarlette snapped, and Tammy just smiled at her. "Where's the fun in that?" she questioned. "Will everyone just shut up!" the shrill of Grace's voice pierced their ears. "Yeah, damn as long as I never have to hear your voice like that again. I think my ears are bleeding." Tammy said putting her fingers up to her ear and pretending to check for blood.

Kimmie didn't hide the amusement on her face when Grace blazing eyes met hers. "What do you want?" she asked with no real interest. She could care less really. "I know you went out with Aaron Saturday night." Grace hissed stepping closer to her. "And?" Kimmie motioned with her hand to get to the point. "And I told you to stay away from him!" she snapped. "And I told you to bite my ass," Kimmie reminded her without a hint of fear in her eyes, "Now if you're done, we have to get to the mall. I need shoes for basketball this year." she said a smirk coming out when Grace's eyes went wide. Judging by the look on her face, Coach Sanders must not have told her Kimmie was taking her spot on the team.

Tammy shared her smirk as the girls turned to walk away only to be stopped a few feet away by another high pitched screech. "You bitch!" Before they could turn around, Kimmie was falling forward to the ground with a monkey named Grace on her back, tugging on her hair. "Yes! I've been waiting for this day." Tammy let out just before going to grab Grace and pull her off. She was stopped when the other two stooges grabbed her arms and held her back. Like that was going to stop her.

A sinister smirk made it's way out when her eyes connected with Leah holding her right arm, unknown to either girls that she fought off a 38 year old man almost on a regular basis. Tammy head-butted her hard in the face, and the brunette instantly let go. She fell to the ground holding her bleeding nose and mouth. Tammy didn't waste anytime to bring her now free right arm around in a tight fist, and socked Scarlette in the jaw. The head cheerleader too fell to the ground, and Tammy turned her attention back to Kimmie and Grace, her smirk getting wider seeing that Kimmie didn't need her help.

The positions had been changed, and now Grace was face down on the ground. "How's the dirt taste, bitch?" Kimmie asked through clinched teeth as she sat on her back, pushing her face into the ground. It didn't take much to get Grace off her. She wanted to pull hair, Kimmie could pull hair, knowing that she could handle it better than Grace could. She had reached around, grabbed a fist full of it, and pulled hard. Using hardly any effort to get the skank off of her. Another high pitched shriek was heard, only this time it wasn't from Grace.

Tammy's eyes snapped back to Scarlette in time to see her jump up and charge at her. She planted her feet, and knocked the bitch right back on her ass with a hard shoulder. This time she wasn't letting her get back up. She sat on her stomach, and landed blow after blow to her face, ignoring her when she started to cry. Leah sat still on the ground, watching the four girls go at it, not daring to jump in again. She was bleeding enough. "Hey! Break it up!" a voice sounded, but was ignored by the four still going at it on the ground.

Brian was about to start his last class when he caught a glimpse of the commotion out of the corner of his eye from the classroom window. He rushed over to get a better look, and let out a sigh when he seen who it was. He knew this day was going to come eventually. "Wait here." he told his class before rushing out the door, not knowing his class gathered around the window once he left. Brian stopped at the office, and opened the door. "There's a fight outside." he told the secretary, receiving a nod as she stood to get the principal.

Brian let the door close, and turned to head out the main entrance when his eyes caught a glimpse of someone else. "You see it too?" he asked as Jimmy came jogging down the hall towards the doors. "Yep." he replied as they both went outside. It wasn't surprising, they shared a hall, and the windows faced the same side. "Hey! Break it up!" Brian yelled as the two ran over to the fighting girls. Deep down he knew his words wouldn't be enough, and soon him and Jimmy were trying to pull Kimmie and Tammy off the girls they had pinned to the ground.

Brian wrapped an arm around Tammy's waist, and started to pull her as he tried to pry her grip from Scarlette's shirt. "Let go!" she yelled, feeling her grip slip. She wasn't done with her yet. "I said break it up!" Brian didn't give in, using one last hard tug before he was finally able to get her off Scarlette. "Those bitches started it!" Tammy continued to fight against him as he turned them away from a bleeding and crying cheerleader on the ground. "And I'm ending it. Now knock it off!" his voice was firm, and demanding, making her stop her struggles instantly.

Tammy looked up at him with an annoyed frown, and pulled his arms off her waist. She pushed away from him, but didn't jump back on Scarlette. Instead she walked over to where Jimmy was holding Kimmie back, smirking when she seen Grace's bleeding and dirty face. "Lets get out of here." she said, grabbing Kimmie's hand and pulling her out of Jimmy's grasp. "I don't think so, ladies." the voice of Mr. O'Neal stopped them in their tracks. The girls turned to face the principal, the expression on his face telling them he wasn't happy. He was a tall, heavier set man with glasses, and balding white hair, "Everyone, my office now."

The five girls followed the principal back into the school. Brian and Jimmy walked between the girls, so they wouldn't go after each others throats again. "Maybe they should see the nurse first." Tammy snickered as they walked into the school, earning a giggle from Kimmie. "Don't." she heard Mr. Haner whisper next to her. She looked up at him still annoyed with the fact he cut her ass kicking short. She had been waiting a long time for one of them to make a move. When his amused eyes, and half smile met her, that irritation quickly faded. They stopped in front of the office door, slightly arrogant smirks coming out on Kimmie and Tammy's faces when the principal did send the other three to the nurse next door.

Mr. O'Neal let out a sigh as they disappeared into the nurse office, and he turned his attention to the other two. "This way," he said opening the office door, "And wipe those smiles off your faces." he added as they entered the front office. "We'll try." Tammy snickered again. "This isn't a laughing matter, Miss Ross you're in a lot of trouble." the principal warned. "Yeah, it kind of is." she replied, her and Kimmie still grinning. "That's enough!" he snapped, and their smiles vanished. "Not my fault they couldn't finish what they started." she mumbled, wanting to get the last word, and succeeding.

The principal let out and aggravated sigh, and looked at the secretary. "Please call Miss Ross and Miss Murphy's parents, along with..." The principals voice started to fade as Brian's eyes narrowed a little, no longer needing to try to hold back his smile. He watched the two girls demeanor change completely from relaxed and a little cocky to extremely tense, and he was pretty sure there was some fear in the glance they shared as their hands slipped together. "Mr. Haner and Jimmy will inform you of the situation to pass on," Mr. O'Neal's voice brought Brian back to what was going on. Maybe they were just nervous about getting into trouble.

Tammy felt her heart start to pick up. She was able to avoid Nathan's punishment all day yesterday, but he had to stay off his foot all day anyway. He ended up having to work all night on it Saturday, and was feeling it Sunday. Tammy had taunted him this morning thinking she was going to stay at Kimmie's tonight. He tried telling her she wasn't, and she told him to watch her. Looks like maybe he was right. "Lets go." Mr. O'Neal said leading the two to his office.

They sat in a couple of chairs as the principal went around his desk, and sat in his own. "Tell me what happened." he said looking between the two. "Those bit-" he held up his hand and cut Tammy off, "I've heard quite enough out of you," he interrupted turning his gaze to Kimmie, "What happened?" he asked again knowing he would get a calmer response from her. "We were leaving, and they stopped us," Kimmie started to explain, "Grace is pissed off because I took her spot on the team,"

"And her boyfriend." Tammy mumbled, a small smile coming out on both their faces. "When we tried to leave again," Kimmie continued with her story, "She jumped on my back, and started pulling my hair." she told him. "And how did you get involved?" The principal asked looking at Tammy, his eyes telling her he was in no mood for her attitude. "I was going to pull Grace off Kimmie when the other two grabbed me, so I head-butted the leach, and beat the skank's face in." she explained with a smirk. Mr. O'Neal pinched the bridge of his nose, growing very irritated. "Watch the language, and you're going to have to tell me which one is which." he said not hiding the annoyance in his voice.

The door to his office opened, and the other three girls were escorted in by Jimmy and Brian. "That one," Tammy said pointing at Scarlette, "That one's the skank." she said, not hiding her smirk as she relaxed back in her chair. Her smile got wider as she watched the three take seats in chairs on the opposite wall. Leah had an ice pack against her nose, and Scarlette over her eye. Grace still had some dirt on her face, and blood and dirt down the front of her shirt. Kimmie smashed her face into the ground a few times before she made her eat it. Her nose bled but wasn't broken.

The principal looked around at the five girls, "Here's what going to happen," he started to explain their punishment, "You'll be sent home for the rest of the day today, and will serve after school detention tomorrow. Your parents are being notified now. You three," he said pointing at Grace, Scarlette, and Leah, "Will serve an extra day of detention on Wednesday for instigating." he finished receiving multiple protests from the three. "You haven't even heard our side. They attacked us." Scarlette tried to argue. "That's crap, and you know it." Kimmie snapped at her. "Yeah, why weren't you in class?" Tammy joined in.

For the first time since the ordeal started, Mr. O'Neal didn't get irritated with Tammy when she opened her mouth. "Why weren't you girls in class?" he asked them as well, not receiving anymore protests, or any response for that matter. "I see," he said with a slight nod of his head, "Detention Tuesday and Wednesday." he repeated. "Excuse me, sir," Tammy spoke up again, and he decided to let her speak, "Kimmie and I don't have a class sixth period. Is there anyway we can serve our detention then? You probably don't want to put us all in the same room anyway," she said looking over at the three, her sinister smirk returning, "Everyone might not make it out."

Brian chuckled, but quickly disguised with a cough when everyone looked at him and Jimmy, who was trying hard to hold in his smile, by the door. "Um that's probably a good idea," he spoke up, trying to get back to being professional, "I have class with these two," he said pointing to Scarlette and Tammy, "And there is a confrontation almost daily." he told him. Mr. O'Neal nodded, and decided to agree with the idea. "Very well you two will serve your detention here in my office during sixth period." he told them as the school secretary came in.

She handed the Principal a couple pieces of paper before leaving again. Everyone sat quietly as they waited for him to finish looking them over. "Your parents have all been notified," he finally said once he was done, "Most of them are on their way. Kim yours couldn't be reached. I'll need you to get a signature on this." he paused and leaned over his desk to hand her one of the papers. "Probably passed out." Kimmie mumbled after she took the slip from him. No one hearing her, but the one who was laying her hand over hers right now.

Mr. O'Neal turned his attention to Tammy, "Your father-"
"Stepfather." she corrected him sharply as fingers laced together. "Um he's stuck in surgery, and will get here as soon as he's done." he finished. Tammy didn't respond to him as another glance was shared between the girls. She couldn't avoid it now. "Thank you for your help, gentlemen. You can return to your classes." Mr. O'Neal told Jimmy and Brian.

Jimmy opened the door to leave, but stopped when he noticed Brian hadn't moved yet. He looked back at his friend, and noticed him staring at his student again, but it wasn't the same look he had this morning. His eyes were narrow, a slight frown on his face like he was trying to figure something out. Brian felt a slight tug on his sleeve, and snapped out of his daze as he looked back at Jimmy. He was too busy trying to figure out why these two girls were acting the way they were. He noticed every mood change, every facial expression, every gesture, the tone Tammy used when she corrected the principal. It definitely sounded like there was a distaste there towards her stepfather.

Jimmy motioned him out the door, and Brian followed. "What was that all about?" he asked once they were outside the office. "Did you notice how Kim and Tammy acted at the mention of their parents. Especially Tammy's stepdad? It was like they were afraid of something, or nervous. I don't know, it was just weird." Brian said as they walked down the hall to their class. Jimmy shook his head, "I wasn't really paying attention, but they did get in trouble. Probably just worried about that." he said as they paused outside Brian's classroom. Brian let out a small sigh, "Yeah, you're probably right." he agreed. It was probably nothing.

Tammy and Kimmie sat now in the front office, waiting for Nathan to show up. They weren't allowed to leave until he did. Well Kimmie was free to go, but that didn't mean she was going to. The other three girls have already left with their parents, and the two got to watch with much amusement while they tried to get sympathy from them. Once their parents found out they skipped class to stop them from leaving, well that sympathy was squashed. Sighs escaped them when the end of the day bell rang, and they were still there.

Brian locked up his classroom, and proceeded down the hall to the front office to close out the day. He walked through the door, and paused when he caught sight of the girls sitting there. "You guys are still here?" he asked as he walked behind the front desk. "Yeah." they both let out, not really looking at him, and extremely bored. "Too bad it can't count as our detention." he heard Tammy mumble just as Mr. O'Neal came out of his office. "Hey," Brian tapped his arm to get his attention, "These girls are still here, and the school day is over. Any chance they can count this as their detention?" he asked seeing their faces light up a little when they heard him.

Mr. O'Neal looked over at the girls with hopeful faces. He really didn't want to spend his time watching them for detention, and they were honor roll students. "Yeah, I think we can do that." he said, and the girls smiled wide. "Thank you." they said in unison. Both men smile at the girls just as the office door opened. Brian saw a man walk in, and also saw Kim and Tammy's smiles vanish. "Dr. Ross," the man introduced himself to the secretary, "I'm here to pick up them." he said turning his gaze to the girls. Brian watched them cower a little under his gaze, and noticed Tammy hug onto Kim's arm. There was definitely a tension there.

"Yes, Mr. Ross," the principal greeted as he stepped out from behind the front desk, "Doctor." Nathan corrected him as he shook his hand. Brian's eyes never left the girls. Being a teacher has made him a very observant person. They were responsible for these kids for almost eight hours of the day. He had to keep his eyes open, so he noticed the eye roll when "Dr. Ross" corrected the principal. "Yes, sorry Doctor." Mr. O'Neal apologized. Nathan gave him a look that showed no real respect as he let go of the principal's hand, and turned his attention back to the girls. "Fighting, really?" he asked stepping towards them. "Surprised, really?" Tammy sassed back, and Brian let out a half smile. Still had attitude.

Nathan leaned down a little closer to her face, "I'd watch it. You're in enough trouble as it is," he growled a little, and Tammy hugged tighter to Kimmie's arm, who was trying to hold back the tears for a friend she couldn't protect, "Looks like won't be staying at Kim's tonight." he whispered. Brian's smile had faded as soon as Dr. Ross started to talk. They guy really rubbed him the wrong way, and he didn't like the way he was talking to his student right now. "Excuse me, Doctor," Brian stepped in with a hint of mocking in his voice, "The girls were only defending themselves-"

"I'm sorry, who are you?" Nathan interrupted a little irritated. Brian plastered on a fake smile, and stepped out from behind the front desk. "Mr. Haner," he said putting out his hand that Nathan hesitated to take, "I'm Tammy's Literature teacher, and one of the teachers that broke up the fight." he said, Nathan finally shaking his hand. He turned it, and frowned at the lettering on Brian's fingers, and the color he could see poking out of his sleeve. "Teachers with tattoos? I can't say I approve of that." he said, catching the principal's attention with the tone of his voice. He didn't approve of his teachers being disrespected. "Well, we don't discriminate," he spoke up, standing tall next to Brian, "And Mr. Haner here is one of our best teachers. He's also won a Golden Apple Award," Mr. O'Neal defended, "As well as Jimmy and Coach Sanders, who also have tattoo's." he finished, both him and Brian smirking at Nathan's frown.

Tammy and Kimmie giggled a little as they watched their principal knock Nathan off his high horse, and his eyes snapped to them. "Lets go," he sneered, pulling Tammy up by her arm, "I knew I should have put you in private school." he continued to bitch as he practically drug her with Kimmie in tow out the office door. "Yeah, cause I'd get along great with the yuppies there." Tammy's sarcastic reply was heard before the door closed. "Asshole." Brian heard Mr. O'Neal mumble before he disappeared back into his office. He didn't really respond, and for some reason found himself following them out the door. There was just something about that man that he didn't like. "You're going to take Kim home, and then you're going to get your ass back to the house." he heard him hiss as he continued to drag her out the main doors.

Brian had never seen Tammy look so scared, and it was something else he found he didn't like. She always seemed so strong and confident, with a little bit of sass in school, but for some reason this guy seemed to make that all crumble. Was there something going on he doesn't know about? Why did she seem so scared of him? Was he hurting her in some way? Maybe I'm reading too much into it, he thought as he watched the girls from the window on the doors practically run away from him to Tammy's car. Or maybe not....

Notes

Well doesn't seem like Brian cares too much for Nathan, but who likes assholes :)
The Principal I gave description to because well we'll be seeing more of him ;) He's actually based on my old high school Vice Principal, same name too, and actually a pretty cool guy. I suck at making up people. I used a random name generator app to come up with my OC names :D
Hope you like it :)
And song suggestions are still welcome!!

@Kimmie
This totally made up for the wait :)

First Brian. He's just not use to having to hide something like this like Tammy has. She's had her crush for awhile and is use to hiding secrets and actions. Some of what he does is completely innocent, just trying to make her feel better, but the other he just doesn't know how to deal with or control it. But like I said in a previous comment...someone is about to gum up the works.

As for Tammy turning on the bitch switch with Kimmie, she knows she fucked up. First day back was an uncomfortable shock to her and she took it out on the wrong person. But I think the little pep talk she got from her favorite teacher will help.

And finally Matt. What can I say about this poor broken man? It's going to take some time for him to get over this. The love of his life is gone now and he just doesn't know how to deal. It's not something someone just gets over. Eventually he's going to see though that there's someone else out there that can love him just as much if not more :)

always love you long comments Hot Stuff <3

OK first, I'm sorry I'm "sooooo late" with my comment ;-) :P
Here goes! Get ready!

Brian, my friend, you are getting onto thin ice. Getting in between a funny back and forth between friends? Asking for a HotStuff (don't be jealous of the girl friends man, not cool), checking to hear if you are still hot? Putting your hand on her thigh? HOLDING HER FUCKING HAND?!!?! Brian, you are soooo deep in right now. And you fucking know it. If you really aren't ready to admit yet, you shouldn't even get in everything I mentioned before and try to pretend to be a grown up man who doesn't have a quickly developing crush on his fosterchild. Don't get me wrong, I can't wait for him to fall of the wagon, but for the storysake and the "it's all wrong"-sake... you should at least pretend :P

Okay, I can skip the school stuff right? I mean, she doesn't want to move away from Brian anyway and everything else was just.. well.. maybe she'll make it anyway, but who cares... I have more important stuff to get to.

For the first time this story I kinda didn't like Tammy. She was selfish instead of supporting her friend. I don't really like Aaron, but for now he is nice to Kimmie and so are his friends. I get all the issues Tammy always had, but she had no right to go off on Kimmie like that. That's just mean. I know I know, she had her reasons. I know she's been through a lot, but I still didn't like it. Kimmie didn't deserve it.

Oh, one thing more about the school day... I do love all the sarcastic remarks. But you know... that's your writing. You make it seem so effortless and I know it's not, but just take the compliment, okay? You make it seem so so damn lifely, and I really feel like being there. Like standing there watching the scene. It's amazing.

Allright, let's get to my man Matt. My heart breaks everytime you write about him. I know it's too soon to get better, but I really want it to. I hate seeing him hurt like this. Trying his best over all his grief. I really can't stand seeing him like this. But I love how Kimmie knows this baby stuff. How she so easily gets the baby to be quiet and calm. And what I like most about it is that she isn't solving it for Matt, but teaching him how. But damn, just fix the man soon, I can't take it.
And here's a small peek of the fangirl.. I can't wait for Kimmie to spend more time with Matt and Aiden, taking care of the small guy.

I hope this comment makes up for me being not here on the first day. I'll just end with what I always do.. Please, Please, Please write! I'm begging you, this story makes my day, my week, my life. I want to read more now things are looking up!

Love you lekker ding! <3
