I've been trying to read this chapter since you put it out and I've finally managed!!!
Can I just start off by saying that I just wrote a clown line about Jimmy too!!! Great minds think alike ;)
Now down to business, fuckin Troy! I hope Evie confronts him, but even if she doesn't, Josh will tear him a new one, I bet. This could be the chance though for Evie to join Avenged permanently! She clearly fits in well there!
And then Jimmy bounding in just to cheer her up was so sweet! I could the see the whole interaction in my head and it was cute as.
Of course, we couldn't finish without a little bit of Brian <3
I don't care how long it was, it was a joy to read as usual!

Ok, I'm mad at Troy, but stoked about what that could mean for her and Brian!!

I can't wait to see what happens with Troy. I hope she calls him out on that because that was messed up!

I....am ashamed that I did not see that coming. That throws a wrench into EVERYTHING.
"Let them have her," I'm not sure why, but this line got me good.
Jimmy is always a pleasure to encounter in your stories. The perfect remedy to this unrelenting illness. "Evie was seeing more of the true genius behind the clown mask, seeing how he observed the world in a more intense way than anyone, and tried everything within his power to care and show his own brand of love and protection for those in his life." LOVE THIS.
That tension between Evie and Brian is palpable as fuck. God damn I love them.
And you. Have I mentioned that recently? Never often enough.

I’m loving this story so much! I think she needs to confront Troy on what she overheard, give him a piece of her mind and then tell him and Phil to eff off. I can’t wait to see what’s going to happen!

I'm SO in love with this chapter! I love the reunion and the real talk with Lzzy! And then that ending where she put her hand on Brian and he was so obviously secretly pleased? SO FUCKING CUTE!

Okay, bear with me because I’m on my phone.
Firstly, can I just say how fucking wonderful it is to see Evie as a person?! She’s so timid and reserved with Avenged; it’s honestly crazy to hear her say more than a sentence at a time! In the best fucking way. She’s so well rounded; you’re so god damn talented. Best friends totally pull that out of you and I love how you can tell just how very comfortable Evie is in her own world. What an interesting fucking parallel you’ve drawn.
”I would love to go into detail about how he said that after” hahh PERFECT.
“Ribbing one another in only the way a best friend can get away with” how fucking true.
I love the growth our Evie has gone through in such a short amount of time! I love her relationship with her bestie and the third degree.
