Matt’s fingers trembled as he pushed the little button that rang the doorbell. She opened up after seconds, and Matt suddenly became aware that she must have been waiting on him right next to the door.

Karma returned with two glasses. “You changed quite a lot in here, I like it,“ Matt said, mainly to make conversation. “You didn’t come to judge my interior designing, did you?“ She said lowly. “No,“ he husked.

“Why don’t we head upstairs?“ Matt nodded, unable to say anything. It was really happening. They sat down onto Karma’s bed and both gulped down their glasses. “Anything you don’t want?“ He asked to make sure he respected her boundaries. The awkwardness took back over.
