Shattered By Broken Dreams

**Brian's POV**

When Zacky come storming in warning us to stay away from the girl in Matt's bunk because she is his little sister, Chrissie, I can't help but let my jaw drop in surprise.

Holy shit she's definitely grown up since I last saw her, and I'm totally going to Hell because she totally gave me a boner earlier! Haha, let's not tell Zacky because I am kind of attached to my balls and I so don't need him cutting them off when I'm not looking.

Zacky glares at us but I roll my eyes at his dramatic, butt-hurt feelings and glance over his shoulder. I see Chrissie half-cowering out of sight in the hallway and quickly push past Zacky.

I scoop her up in my arms and spin her around, "Hey baby girl, it's great to see you! You're dickhead brother never told us that you were joining the tour or we would have cleaned up the bus a little bit" I lie, because there is no way in hell that any of us would get off our lazy asses to straighten up the tour bus...not unless we thought we would get something out of it, if you know what I mean.

Chrissie frowns and looks over my shoulder at Zacky before meeting my eyes and letting out a defeated sigh. "I don't know why he didn't warn you guys...I hope I'm not going to be a burd-" she starts to say sadly but I quickly put her down and place my calloused finger over her soft lips...Mhm, that a nice sensation.

"Shhhh, you would never be a burden so please don't say that" I interject and tears form in her eyes.

Wait, did I say something wrong?!

**Zacky's POV**

I'm going to kill Brian! I just told him not to lay a finger on my sister and he decides to blow me off and places all 10 of them on her backside!!!

When Brian lies and says that he would have cleaned the bus if he knew she was coming, I feel my blood begin to boil. He better not even try that shit with my sister or I'll castrate him in his sleep!

I'm about to open my mouth to tell him that he's two seconds away from death, when Chrissie looks over at me with sad eyes...shit, I knew I shouldn't have keep her joining the tour a secret, because now she thinks it's because I'm ashamed of her. Ugh, that couldn't be further from the truth!

I walk up behind Brian and pull his hand away from my sister's lips, "Chrissie can I talk to you alone for a minute?" I ask and she shrugs and walks back to the bunks. I pull her into my bunk and wrap my arms around her, "I'm so sorry" I say and she pulls back and looks at me with tear-filled eyes.

"I-I just want to know if you didn't tell them because you were afraid I would be...well you know, what mom and dad see me as" she sobs and I tighten my grip on her and press my lips to her forehead.

"Mom and dad are idiots for making you feel like that. Brian was right...we could never see you as a burden because you are always loved and welcome here with us. I'm sorry I didn't tell them earlier, but it wasn't because I was ashamed of you or afraid of how they would react...I was just rushing to get you away from that situation that I never once thought of how it might appear on your end. I love you and so do the guys and trust me when I say we want you here" I whisper and she sniffles back the tears.

"Do you mean that?" she ask and I nod my head but a thought pops into my brain and causes me to frown. She gives me a puzzled look and I crack a small forced smile.

"Just promise me that you won't fall for any of my friends or let them put their pervy hands all over you and we will be good" I say and she full on laughs...God, it's so good to hear her laugh again.

"Trust me Zee, I don't think you have to worry about that!" she chuckles with a huge smile on her face which causes me to mimic her chipper expression, but mine is not genuine.

The problem is...I am worried.
