Kimmie moved back and forth frantically from Tammy's closet to her bed as she laid out multiple outfits on it. She's acquired quite the wardrobe over here, or more Tammy's accumulated it for her. Kimmie notice whenever she mentioned that she liked something, Tammy would get it for her. When she noticed, she tried to not mention anything, so she wouldn't get it, but somehow she always knew. Kimmie knows why she does it, and tries to not let it bother her. She has too. It's part of her deal. As long as she didn't complain about it, Tammy would buy things for her less often. It just made her uncomfortable mostly because she couldn't do the same, not that Tammy cared. Kimmie didn't have a lot of reasons to smile, and she just liked to be one of them.

Tammy, at the mean time, was sitting in her computer chair, raising it up and down, as she watched Kimmie with an amused smile. "Will you chill out? You still have like two hours." she said. Kimmie's eyes snapped to hers with panic in them. "I only have two hours?" she asked starting to get more frantic. She has never been this nervous. Tammy let out a laugh as she put the chair back to where she likes it, and stood. "Relax," she said walking over to her, "You act like you've never been on a date before." she joked, knowing it was true. Kimmie gave her a look that told her she wasn't in the mood for jokes.

Tammy quickly tried to hide her smile, but was failing at it. "Alright, calm down," she said, grabbing Kimmie's shoulders, and turning her back to the bed, "Sit." she said, having to push down on her shoulders a littler harder than she thought to get her to sit. Tammy held up a finger to tell her to wait, and walked into the closet. Kimmie sat, chewing on her fingernail as her leg bounced nervously. "Wear these," she heard, looking up in time to catch a pair of jeans headed right for her, "With this top," that came flying out directly after, and hitting her in the face that had a smile making its way out, "Take this if it gets chilly," she caught the jacket, "And I won't throw these at you." Tammy finished, stepping out of the closet with a pair of black leather knee high boots, and a grin.

Kimmie chuckled, feeling a little more relaxed, "Thanks I appreciate that." she said setting the clothes on the bed before standing, and taking the boots from her. "Well wouldn't want you to start the night out in the hospital with a concussion." Tammy said, earning another giggle. "Better hurry. You're down to one hour and fifty minutes." Tammy said, grinning a little wider when the panic set back in, in Kimmie's eyes. "Shit." she cursed as she practically ran to the bathroom, accidentally slamming the door behind her. She still had to shower, dress, do her hair and makeup. She was sure she wasn't going to be done in time.

Tammy shook her head with a small smile, and turned back to the bed. That smile turned slightly mischievous when she spotted the jacket laying there. She looked back over her shoulder at the closed bathroom door, hearing the shower turn on before walking over to the bed, and picking up the jacket. Tammy walked back into the closet, and put it on the hanger before placing it in the very back of the closet. Hopefully this would buy her some time later. She walked back out into the bedroom, and plopped down on her stomach, on the bed, grabbing the tv remote, and started flipping through the channels. "Score." she let out, tossing the remote aside when she came across an American Horror Story marathon. She knew what she was doing tonight.

Kimmie came out of the bathroom, wrapped in a towel about twenty minutes later. She went rushed over to the dresser, grabbing some socks and underwear. She had everything over here, but she spent most of her time over here. It was the place she could get away, and find some peace. It was kind of funny in a way how one persons prison could be another's sanctuary. Of course it helped Tammy out, her being there too. Nathan behaved himself more often....unless he was determined. Then he had no problem physically making her leave.

Lost in her own little world, Kimmie grabbed the clothes from the bed, and made a mad dash back to the bathroom to dress. "Are you sure this looks okay?" she asked, running over to the full length mirror on the closet door. Tammy rolled over on her back, and propped herself up on an elbow. An entertained smile came out as she watched Kimmie look at herself, front and back, about twenty times while trying to smooth out wrinkles that weren't there before looking to her with desperation. "You look great." she told her honestly, but the look on Kimmie's face told her she wasn't convinced. "Are you sure? I don't know..." she trailed off, looking at the mirror again.

Tammy rolled her eyes a little as she stood from the bed, and walked over to her. "The jeans hug you perfectly." she started, slapping both hands down on the outside of Kimmie's hips. "Owe." she said rubbing them a little even though it didn't really hurt. "The blue top brings out your eyes, and hangs off the shoulder a little, showing a classy amount of skin," Tammy explained with a smile before wrapping her arms around her shoulders, and resting her chin on one, "You look great." she repeated softly watching a small smile come out on her face in the mirror.

Kimmie let out a content sigh, finally satisfied, and rested her head against Tammy's. "Thanks." she whispered as her eyes traveled to the wet mop on top of her head. Her smile quickly disappeared, and Tammy watched the panic set in again. "What am I going to do with my hair." Kimmie looked at the clock on the night stand. She only had an hour and ten minutes. Tammy chuckled, and let go of her. "Nothing." she said. "What?" Kimmie whipped around, confusion all over her face. "We're going to blow dry it, you're going to toss your head a few times, and its going to fall perfectly into place like it always fucking does." Tammy explained with a forced smile, feign jealousy. She had to practically use a magic wand to get her hair to do what she wanted it to do. Kimmie could wake up in the morning, run her fingers through hers, and be done with it.

Kimmie let out a chuckle, relaxing again, and letting Tammy take over what was left to be done. Why not? She already picked out her outfit. She was so nervous anyway, she would probably end up with mascara and eyeliner streaks everywhere. Tammy blow dried her hair, and combed it, making a jokingly snarky comment about how it didn't even need the toss. Kimmie let out another small chuckle as Tammy got to work on her makeup. Starting with the task of covering the bruise she still had from the shot she took from her mother. A task she been doing for her since the day they met. A task she'll do as long as she needed her to do.

A satisfied smile came across Tammy's face once she finished. She always thought Kimmie had the pretties eyes, so she made sure to accent those even more. "Ta-da." she said, spinning her around to face the mirror. The smile grew on Kimmie's face as she looked herself over. She had to admit she did a great job. "Saaay it," Tammy said, resting the side of her face on her shoulder, "Tell me you love me." she requested with puppy eyes when Kimmie turned her head to look at her. She couldn't hold back the smile, and let the words come out, "I love you." she said, giving her a quick peck on the cheek, and earning a wide grin. "I know." Tammy said hugging her from behind before the sound of the doorbell ruined the moment.

The nerves started set back in, and Tammy tried to be reassuring for her. "Relax, and be yourself," she started, practically dragging Kimmie towards the bedroom door, "The personality is always the best feature, and you're awesome." she told her, earning another smile as they walked down the stairs. The doorbell sounded again, and Kimmie took a deep breath. Tammy hung back as she rushed to the door, and opened it. "Hi." a smiling Aaron greeted her on the other side. "Hey." Kimmie replied, feeling her cheeks heat up as his eyes traveled up, and back down. "You look really pretty." he told her as he stepped in. "Thank you." she said as her cheeks got even hotter. "You're welcome." Tammy's voice broke through the slight awkwardness.

Kimmie smiled as she looked back at her friend, who too was wearing a wide smile. "You ready to go?" Aaron asked now standing next to her. "Yeah, I just need to grab my jacket." she told him receiving a nod. "I think it's still in my room." Tammy told her, leaving out it being in her closet, where she put it, so she could have this moment right here...

"Okay, I'll be right back." Kimmie said before running back up the stairs. Tammy watched her disappear before turning back to Aaron, the smile on her face making him a little nervous. "Big plans tonight?" she asked, pretending to be interested. "Just going to the Pier. Thought we'd play some-" he started to explain only to be interrupted. "I don't really give a fuck," Tammy said, her voice and face now very cold, "Lets get something strait," she said taking a few steps towards him, "I don't like you, and I don't trust you. Understand?" Aaron gave her a nod. "Good, then understand this," she continued, stepping even closer to him, "Kimmie is the most important person in the world to me, and if you hurt her, I will not hesitate to rip off your balls, and watch you choke on them. Got it?"

A twisted little smirk crossed Tammy's face when she seen him squeeze his legs together as he nodded quickly. "Sweetheart," the voice of her nightmares cooed from behind her, "I don't think Kim would appreciate you scaring away her date already." The expression on Tammy's face went from twistedly amused to completely startled and afraid within a blink of an eye, and it didn't go unnoticed. She didn't respond to him, but slowly faced him, trying to hide the fear in her eyes. He could always see it though, and it always made him smile. Fear was a form of respect in his eyes, and he loved seeing it every time.

Nathan casually stepped further into the kitchen, "Do you?" he asked again, stopping next to her, and looking down at her with a cocked brow. "No." Tammy whispered. "I didn't think so," he said leaning a little close to her as he spoke, "Nathan Ross," he extended his hand to Aaron as he introduced himself, "M.D." he added as Aaron shook his hand. Tammy moved, so she was behind him, 'M.D.' she mouthed mockingly at his back. Like anyone gives a fuck you're a doctor, she thought to herself as the two created small talk.

Tammy jumped a little when she felt a hand slip into hers. She was to busy trying to make Nathan explode with her mind, she didn't hear Kimmie come back in. "When did he get back?" she asked at a whisper. "I don't know." Tammy said, connecting their gazes. He was gone before Kimmie even started to get ready. Tammy could see the message in her eyes, telling her she would stay if she wanted, but she wasn't going to let that happen. She pulled Kimmie over to the pair, and interrupted them, "Kimmie's back. You two should get going." she said to Aaron, putting Kimmie's hand in his. "Yeah we probably should." he agreed, and gladly accepted her hand in his.

The worry, and offer was still present in Kimmie's eyes as she let Aaron lead her to the door, looking over her shoulder at Tammy who followed behind. "Have fun." she told them finally stopping a few feet from the door, Kimmie's eyes never leaving hers. She didn't want to leave her there. Tammy felt his presence behind her. Kimmie's eyes quickly glance over her shoulder, and back to Tammy, the message clear once again. She didn't like the look he was giving her, and she didn't want to leave.

Tammy could feel his stare on her back as she forced out a smile when Aaron opened the door to leave, oblivious to the silent conversation going on. "Have her home by midnight." she tried to joke, but Kimmie's face showed no signs of amusement as the door closed behind her, knowing it was her answer. Tammy wasn't going to let her stay. She let Aaron lead her to his car with little hesitation, so not to raise questions. He opened her door for her, and shut it once she was inside. Kimmie kept her eyes on the house as he pulled out of the driveway, and watched it disappear in the side mirror as they headed down the road. There was no way she was going to be able to relax, and have fun now.

Tammy's heart pounded harder in her chest now that they were alone. She held her breath, and squeezed her eyes shut when she felt and heard him walk closer to her. She could feel her skin starting to crawl the closer he got, and he hadn't even touched her yet. She knew what was coming, and she would fight him again, but there was no way she was going to tell Kimmie to stay. She could handle it, and it would raise questions from Aaron that she didn't want to answer. Tammy looked up at Nathan when she felt him directly behind her. His intentions were very clear in his eyes as was the fear in hers. A smile came out on his face, and he could almost see her trembling, loving every minute of it. "Finally alone." he whispered, running a hand down her cheek.

Notes

Doesn't look like Tammy is going to get to watch that marathon.....or will she?
Hopefully Kimmie will be able to focus on her date and have fun...
Guess we'll have to wait to see :)

Comments

@Kimmie
This totally made up for the wait :)

First Brian. He's just not use to having to hide something like this like Tammy has. She's had her crush for awhile and is use to hiding secrets and actions. Some of what he does is completely innocent, just trying to make her feel better, but the other he just doesn't know how to deal with or control it. But like I said in a previous comment...someone is about to gum up the works.

As for Tammy turning on the bitch switch with Kimmie, she knows she fucked up. First day back was an uncomfortable shock to her and she took it out on the wrong person. But I think the little pep talk she got from her favorite teacher will help.

And finally Matt. What can I say about this poor broken man? It's going to take some time for him to get over this. The love of his life is gone now and he just doesn't know how to deal. It's not something someone just gets over. Eventually he's going to see though that there's someone else out there that can love him just as much if not more :)

always love you long comments Hot Stuff <3

OK first, I'm sorry I'm "sooooo late" with my comment ;-) :P
Here goes! Get ready!

Brian, my friend, you are getting onto thin ice. Getting in between a funny back and forth between friends? Asking for a HotStuff (don't be jealous of the girl friends man, not cool), checking to hear if you are still hot? Putting your hand on her thigh? HOLDING HER FUCKING HAND?!!?! Brian, you are soooo deep in right now. And you fucking know it. If you really aren't ready to admit yet, you shouldn't even get in everything I mentioned before and try to pretend to be a grown up man who doesn't have a quickly developing crush on his fosterchild. Don't get me wrong, I can't wait for him to fall of the wagon, but for the storysake and the "it's all wrong"-sake... you should at least pretend :P

Okay, I can skip the school stuff right? I mean, she doesn't want to move away from Brian anyway and everything else was just.. well.. maybe she'll make it anyway, but who cares... I have more important stuff to get to.

For the first time this story I kinda didn't like Tammy. She was selfish instead of supporting her friend. I don't really like Aaron, but for now he is nice to Kimmie and so are his friends. I get all the issues Tammy always had, but she had no right to go off on Kimmie like that. That's just mean. I know I know, she had her reasons. I know she's been through a lot, but I still didn't like it. Kimmie didn't deserve it.

Oh, one thing more about the school day... I do love all the sarcastic remarks. But you know... that's your writing. You make it seem so effortless and I know it's not, but just take the compliment, okay? You make it seem so so damn lifely, and I really feel like being there. Like standing there watching the scene. It's amazing.

Allright, let's get to my man Matt. My heart breaks everytime you write about him. I know it's too soon to get better, but I really want it to. I hate seeing him hurt like this. Trying his best over all his grief. I really can't stand seeing him like this. But I love how Kimmie knows this baby stuff. How she so easily gets the baby to be quiet and calm. And what I like most about it is that she isn't solving it for Matt, but teaching him how. But damn, just fix the man soon, I can't take it.
And here's a small peek of the fangirl.. I can't wait for Kimmie to spend more time with Matt and Aiden, taking care of the small guy.

I hope this comment makes up for me being not here on the first day. I'll just end with what I always do.. Please, Please, Please write! I'm begging you, this story makes my day, my week, my life. I want to read more now things are looking up!

Love you lekker ding! <3
