*~*Kamalei's POV*~*

"Who wants to dance with me?" I slurred standing up.

Zacky hesitated waiting for someone else to speak up, before standing, "I'll go."

Matt grunted and stood up holding Val's hand, "We'll go too."

I grabbed Zacky's hand and he stabilized my drunken steps as we walked down the stairs back to the dance floor. Matt and Val followed us to the center. Matt didn't seem too pleased when I spun around and put Zacky's hands on my hips, dancing to the music.

"Maybe that's not a great idea Lei..." Zacky said, "You're brother looks like he is going to blow up."

"I know. Isn't it funny?" I replied back.

I didn't care what my brother thought about it. I liked Zacky and I wanted to dance with him. I wasn't cheating on my boyfriend. I wasn't making out with him, or even flirting really.

I pushed up closer to Zacky and grinded against him. Zacky danced with me in tune to the music. I turned around and dropped down to the ground, slowly coming back up before pressing my body against his chest.

He leaned over and whispered to me, "Don't Lei. He's getting really mad."

I looked over and my brother was giving me a death glare. Val was dancing on him, but he only had eyes on Zacky and me. I smiled and dropped down to the ground again, pretending I didn't notice his anger. When I stood back up this time, Matt pulled my arm towards him.

"Enough." He said before taking me by the arm and dragging me up the stairs back to the VIP before pushing me onto the couch.

"What the hell Kamalei? Don't you have a fucking boyfriend to do that with!?" he yelled over the music, causing everyone in our party to stare at us.

"You what the hell! I was only dancing Matt. I wasn't fucking kissing him or anything!" I yelled back.

"It sure as hell looked like more than that Lei! You sit your ass there for now." He said before going to the table and picking up a shot and downing it without hesitation.

I sat there and watched Val and Zacky come back up the stairs.

"AND YOU! What the fuck were you thinking?! That's my fucking sister!" Matt screamed in his face.

"What I didn't do anything?!" Zacky replied angrily.

"Matt, don't. They were just dancing baby." Val tried to reason with him, stepping in between him and Zacky.

"Dancing!? They were practically fucking on the fucking dance floor!" He yelled.

"Fuck off Matt. We were dancing." I said from my seat before grabbing another drink off the table.

"Fuck off? Did you really just tell me to fuck off?! Are you fucking kidding me!?" He screamed at me.

"Yeah I fucking said to FUCK OFF! WE WERE FUCKING DANCING!" I screamed back at him.

I stood not afraid stepping closer to him. Brian, Jimmy, Johnny, and Val all wore wide-eyed surprises on their faces.

I've been hit and beaten before Matthew Sanders. I'm not scared.

This time Kelly stood up and came between the two of us.

"Ok. Stop. Lei, sit the fuck down bitch. This is your brother. Remember? Let's not go there. We have all been drinking, and I think you have had enough hunny." She said taking the drink from my hand.

I knew she was right. This was my brother. He was only looking out for me. Like he's supposed to.

"I'm sorry." I said sitting down on the couch.

Matt said nothing but turned away from me staring at Zacky with an angry glare. Zacky sat down next to me on the couch.

"Get away from her." Matt muttered to him thru gritted teeth.

Zacky stood up and grabbed a beer from the table before walking back down the stairs. I watched as he looked back up at me before walking out the backdoor of the club.

"Why'd you have to do that Matt!?" I yelled at him, starting to get up.

"Sit your fucking ass down." he said sternly.

Brian got up and went off to follow Zacky. I wanted to cry.

Why is he being so mean to Zacky? He didn't do anything. Why is he so mean to me?

"I have to pee." I told Matt.

"Take Jimmy with you." was all he said before taking another shot.

Jimmy stood up extending his hand to me, "Ma ‘lady?"

I took his hand and we made our way down the stairs. At the bottom of the stairs, Jimmy looked up to the balcony.

"Alright, you're clear. Let's go." he said taking my hand as we made our way out the back.

Brian and Zacky were standing in the small alley smoking a cigarette. Zacky looked mad and I felt horrible.

"Zacky I'm sorry." I said to him.

"It's not your fault. He's drunk and mad. He's just looking out for his sister. I would do the same thing for Zina." he replied looking at the ground.

As he went to take a drag on his cigarette, I noticed his hand covered in blood.

"Zee, what happened?!" I exclaimed as I grabbed his hand.

He pulled away, "It's nothing. Don't worry about it."

"Dumbass punched the bricks..." Brian said before taking a sip of his beer.

"Come on. Let me wrap it up at least?" I pleaded with him.

"Zack let her." Jimmy said from behind me.

"Fine. Let's go." He said hesitant.

Jimmy pulled the door to the club open again, leading the way first. He looked up and saw that Matt was busy talking to Val and Johnny, and ushered us in. We made our way to the bathrooms. I pushed him into the men's room and grabbed his hand, shoving it into the sink, rinsing it.

"Zacky, this is pretty bad..." I said as I cleaned it off.

"Here. Use this." he said reaching up and ripping the sleeve off his own shirt.

"Zee. Now you look retarded with one sleeve." I said before he reached up and ripped the other side.

I shook my head and proceeded to wrap his hand. After he was bandaged up, we came out of the bathroom and saw Jimmy and Brian close by. Brian and Zacky waited while Jimmy and I headed up the stairs first. Matt didn't even look up at me. He didn't even throw a nasty glare to Zacky when Brian and he returned either.

"I'm ready to go bro." Johnny slurred, leaning over onto Matt's shoulder.

"Alright short shit. Let's go. I think we all have had enough of tonight." Matt replied pushing him back up.

Matt and Val went down the stairs first, followed by Johnny and Jimmy, then Brian and Kelly, leaving Zacky and I at the end. I wanted to be as far away from Matt as possible, dreading that I was going to have to go back to his house to sleep.

As we made our way through the crowded dance floor, Zacky leaned forward and whispered, "Thanks for wrapping my hand."

His breath on my neck made me jump a little, causing me to lose my balance in my heels. He reached out and caught me, just as I started to fall.

"Be careful Lei." he said standing me back up and staring into my eyes.

"You are going to get us in more trouble Mr. Baker." I replied smirking at him, before breaking our eye contact.

Once outside, Val hailed us a cab as she tried to hold up Matt. She was failing miserably as my brother was enormous compared to her. Zacky walked up to the other side of him and hoisted him up.

"No. Get away Zee. I don't want you by my sister..." he slurred on.

"I'm just helping you up bro. Val can't hold you up on her own." he replied helping his friend.
The cab pulled up and we all piled in. I sat next to Jimmy in the far back with a slumped over Johnny. Zacky sat with Matt and Val in the seat in front of us. Val gave the driver directions to Brian's house first, dropping off him and Kelly.

"Beach tomorrow don't forget!" Val called to Brian as they got out and we pulled away.

Val turned to us, "Jimmy, you guys just all sleep at our house tonight. That ok?"

"Yeah. I rather not be alone with Johnny." he replied as we headed to my brother's house.

We got there and Val paid the driver before helping Zacky lift my brother out of the cab and make our way to the door. Once inside, Jimmy threw Johnny down on the couch, and helped Zacky take Matt upstairs into his bedroom. Val made her way into the closet in the hall and pulled out as many blankets and pillows as she could find bringing them into the living room.

"Ok sweetie, I know it's been a rough day. There's the guest room down the hall that we set up earlier for you. Your bags are all in there and there's a nice comfy bed. You can have it all to yourself. No one is going to bother you in there. We plan on going to the beach tomorrow." Val said as she unfolded a blanket and laid it on Johnny's passed out form on the couch.

"Ok. Thanks Valary. I'm really sorry about tonight." I apologized.

"Don't be hunny. It's not your fault. He can be rather unrealistic when he's drunk. It'll be fine in the morning. I know he's just worried about his baby sister. He was very upset today with your father. He feels it’s his job now to take care of you, since your father didn't. We can talk about it more tomorrow though. It's late. Get some sleep and don't worry about Matt. I'll handle him." she said giving me a big hug and making her way upstairs.

Jimmy and Zacky came down the stairs shortly after shaking their heads.

"What?" I asked.

"It smelled like sex in there. So gross." Jimmy said pulling out a blanket from the stack Val left.

I laughed, "Well... This is their house."

Zacky wandered into the kitchen and grabbed a few bottles of water, handing them to Jimmy and me.

"I'm gonna go get ready to go to bed." I said leaving the guys to making their beds.

I walked down the hall, my heels clicking on the hard floors, making my way to the guest room. It was a pretty room with large windows and sea foam green walls, with white curtains on the windows. I could only imagine how beautiful it would be in the morning sunshine. The bed was an all-white king size iron bed with the same color bedspread as the walls. My bags were sitting on the floor by a large dresser with a mirror. I walked over and grabbed out some comfy clothes to sleep in. I changed and lay down on the bed without getting in the covers. I just laid there staring at the ceiling thinking.

What the hell. Today was fucked up. There were some good parts though. The beach with Zacky. Shopping with Val and Kelly was fun too. I loved the look on the guys' faces when we came out. It was priceless. I did have fun dancing. Until that asshole tried to fucking rape me. Zacky saved me though. That was incredible. I've never felt so safe. Oh Zacky, you're even better than I thought you would be. Why do you have to be so great? Why do I have to have such a shitty boyfriend at home?

A soft knock on the door, stirred me from my thoughts, "Can I come in?"

"Yeah." I replied.

Zacky came in and shut the door behind him, "You know you're supposed to get in the covers right?"

"Yeah, I know. I was just thinking." I said as he sat on the end of the bed.

"Well, I just wanted to tell you that I thought you looked really gorgeous tonight." he said nervously looking down at his bandaged hand.

"Oh, thank you Zee. How's your hand?" I asked trying not to blush.

He looked up at me, "It’s okay. A little sore now but I'll live."

I grabbed his hand and kissed it, "There. All better?" I joked.

"Yeah. Thanks." he chuckled.

"Thank you for saving me today Zacky." I said looking into his green eyes.

"It’s okay, any of us would have done the same if we saw that guy..." He said before I interrupted him.

"No, not just that. I meant for everything today. When you came to find me, and let me just sit and cry for hours. I needed that. Thank you for keeping me company, even now. Even if my brother has a hissy fit about it." I said.

"It's alright. It was my pleasure..." he said hesitating like it wasn't what he really wanted to say.

"Zacky you're so sweet and nice, and you barely even know me. Some girl is going to be very lucky to call you hers one day." I told him looking down at my hands now.

He looked down almost sad, "Yeah. One day..."

"Zacky, do you think you would sleep with me in here tonight?" I asked.

He looked up at me, instantly blushing, "I don't think your brother would like that. I mean, I don't mind at all, but Matt will kill me if he found me in here in the morning."

"You're right. Why don't I come sleep out there with you? He can't be mad because Jimmy and Johnny are there too."

"You would give up a big comfy bed to sleep on the floor with Jimmy and me?" he asked.

"Yeah, unless you tell Jimmy to come in here too. There's plenty of room on this bed." I suggested.

"I'll go ask him." he said getting up and walking out.

He returned with Jimmy and the two of them crawled in the bed on either side of me.

"My little Lei-Lei doesn't like to sleep alone. Jimmy and Zacky are here to have a sleepover. Just like last night. You guys aren't going to leave me behind this time though right?" Jimmy asked.

"We won't leave you tomorrow Jimmy, I promise." I told him as we snuggled down into the blanket.

"Ok good. Goodnight my little Lei-Lei." Jimmy said leaning over and kissing my cheek.

"Goodnight Jimmy." I said turning my head to Zacky.

Jimmy's soft snoring had already started and I knew he wasn't going to be awake for at least another 8 hours.

"Goodnight Kamalei." Zacky said and I waited for him to kiss my cheek.

It never came. Instead he put his arm around me and pulled me closer to his body. He had taken his shirt off in the dark, and I could feel his bare chest rise and fall under my head. It was so comforting and I felt so safe.

"Goodnight Zacky... My sweet... sweet Zacky..." I mumbled as I drifted off to sleep.

Sorry I have been pretty busy today but I am happy to be able to at least post 1 chapter today. Hopefully I will be able to get another one on the press tomorrow.
