Fake Reflection

Kimmie sat on the couch, chewing on her finger nail as her leg nervously bounced up and down. It's been almost six hours since Tammy left, and none of them were back yet. "Will you stop that please?" Shane said next to her as he grabbed her knee to stop her leg from moving. "Sorry." she whispered. At first she was nervous about what was going to happen when Matt got home, but as time ticked by, nerves for something else started to grow. "Something isn't right." she said looking to Jacoby who was seated across from her in the recliner. "I know." he said not looking up from his phone as he tried to will one of them to call him.

Jacoby got the feeling something was up a little while ago. He shrugged it off at first to them getting held up in traffic, but that thought slowly faded. One of them would have called if it was something simple was holding them up. Finally he just got sick of waiting, and decided to call them. His nerves grew as one by one, every phone went strait to voicemail. Something was definitely wrong. A buzz echoed through the house, slicing through the thick tense silence in the room. Confusion flowed through the room as eyes looked around at one another. Who the hell could that be? Avenged wouldn't buzz their own gate.

Jacoby stood, and walked to the front door, turning on the monitor by it for the gate camera. "That's my dad." Shane said, surprised behind him. Jacoby turned to see everyone had followed him. "What's he doing here?" he asked. Shane shrugged with a shake of his head. He was just as confused as everyone else. "Well then lets find out." Jacoby said pressing the button by the monitor to open the gate. They all walked out the door to meet him outside as their worry continued to grow stronger.

Richard pulled up to the front door, and climbed out of his car. He was met on the steps by the men from Papa Roach, two men he assumed were Dan and Cam from what Shane has told them, and the two people he never thought he could feel so disappointed in. "Don't look at me like that," Shane said when his eyes met his fathers disapproving gaze, "You haven't seen what I have." he told him. Richard let out a sigh, "Whatever it may be, it's not important right now." he said, and Jacoby took a step towards him. "What are you doing here?" he asked.

Richard turned his gaze to Jacoby. He was still having a hard time believing what was happening right now, but Kevin insisted it was all true. With everything that has happened over the past few days, he wasn't entirely sure what to believe anymore. "Something's happened to Avenged Sevenfold." he said watching eyes go wide. "Inside now." Jacoby said, immediately turning and walking into the house. Everyone followed without hesitation, and Jacoby lead them to the living room. "Sit down," he told Richard pointing to the couch, "Tell me what you know." he said sitting across from him. Richard let out another sigh, "I got a call from McNicoles....."

Richard sat at his desk with his head in his hands. What the hell was going on? How could the sweet, innocent, young girl he knew all those years ago get involved with cold blooded killers like them? And now it looked like two of the most important people in the world to him, were getting mixed up too. Richard was pulled out of his thoughts by his phone. Kevin's name was on the screen, and he hesitated to answer it. He really didn't feel like dealing with him right now. He sent the call to voicemail only to have it go off again a few moments later. "What do you want?" he answered annoyed.

Kevin let out a huff, "Don't. You and I both know Shane and Kimmie helped them get out," he said, and Richard rolled his eyes, "But that's not why I'm calling. Its Boyd." he said and Richard sat up in his chair a little. "What about him?" he asked, unknowing to the deeper problem going on right now. "He's behind this whole investigation, and part of the Drug Cartel." Kevin told him. Richard eyes widened with surprise. "Are you sure?" he asked. "I have wire taps and pictures of him and Demarco. Yeah I'm sure. Look I need you to go to their house. I know Kimmie and Shane are there, and they know about Boyd too. Their phones are shut off and I can't reach them." Kevin told him.

Richard ran a hand through his hair. "How did you get those?" he asked. "It's not important right now! The Berrys were kidnapped at gun point from the parking lot, and the rest of Avenged have been forced off the road," Richard stood, and hastily walked out of his office, phone still to his ear as Kevin continued, "I followed Boyd after they left, and saw him grab the Berrys, and then followed them to the crash sight. I'm a few cars behind them now, but he separated Synderella. I don't know where he's taking her, but I can't follow both vehicles." he said.

Richard climbed into his car, and started it. "Why does he want them?" he asked as he pulled out of the parking lot. "Kimmie said Shadows has been trying to shut him down, and Boyd wants him off his back. He told me that himself," Kevin said, "I may not like them, but I'm sure as hell not going to let Boyd take them out." Richard nodded in agreement even though Kevin couldn't see. "I'm on my way there now. Just keep me updated." he said before ending the call. Richard let out a deep sigh. This just keeps getting better and better....

Jacoby pulled at his hair in frustration. This was just fucking great. What the hell was he suppose to do now? "He got those pictures and taps from me," Kimmie piped up and all eyes were on her, "I didn't give them to him, but he must have found them. Matt has someone following Boyd, and I forwarded them from his email to mine." she explained. "Who?" Jacoby shot up. Maybe this person can help. "Chester was the name on the email." she said and Jacoby felt some relief flow through him as he dug his phone out of his pocket.

He paced the living room as the line on the other end rang. "Hey man, what's up" Chester answered on the fourth ring. "All kinds of shit," Jacoby mumbled, "Shadz got you following William Boyd?" he asked. "Yeah, actually I've been trying to get ahold of him. I just landed in LA." Chester told him. "Boyd's got them. What are you doing here?" he asked. "I'll explain later, you at their house?" Chester asked. "Yeah." Jacoby replied. "I'll be there in awhile, and we'll catch each other up." he said before hanging up. "What's going on?" Jerry asked when Jacoby tucked away his phone. "Chester's in LA, he's on his way." he said. "What the fuck is he doing across the country?" Tobin asked. Jacoby shrugged, "I don't know. He'll explain when he gets here."

Chester arrived about an hour later. Mike was the only one with him, and they all gathered in the living room. "Who are they?" Chester asked spotting the two men and woman he's never seen before on the couch. "They're cops." Jacoby said sitting back in his seat. Mike and Chester looked at him with wide eyes. "What the hell are they doing here?" Mike asked. "Long story," Jacoby mumbled, "Don't worry about them, I need to know what you know." he said looking to Chester. "You sure it's okay?" he asked taking one last glance at the three cops on the couch. Jacoby nodded, "They're here for the same reason," he said with a slight pause, "Boyd."

Chester gave him a nod, and took a seat. He proceeded to tell them about what Matt had wanted him to do, and everything he found out. "We knew he was into something else because he was laundering way too much money from drugs alone. I sent Shadz the stuff about the cartel because I knew that was his main concern, and continued to watch and listen." he explained. "You find out what else?" Jacoby asked. "Yeah that's why we're here. He has an auction in a couple of days, and we got in." Chester told him. "Auction? You mean human trafficking?" Richard asked with disbelief, receiving a nod in response.

Kimmie jumped from the couch, "He going to sell her," she said and everyone looked at her confused, "Tammy! You said Kevin told you he separated her," she said looking to Richard and his eyes went wide with the rest of them. "That's right, McNicoles knows, and is following him, but he couldn't follow her. Where's the auction?" Jacoby questioned. "In San Diego, but that's not where they'll hold her," Mike told them, "They always keep the "merchandise" at another location until auction." he finished. "Okay so someone wanna catch us up now cause I know you're not working with that bitch McNicoles." Chester said.

Jacoby let out a sigh, "I don't even know anymore, but right now we're kind of depending on him," he said, running his hand through his hair, "Those two," he said pointing to Kimmie and Shane with two fingers, "Have been working undercover here. The guys got arrested, but there was no evidence to-" he was interrupted by Richard, "There was evidence. It was just stolen." he corrected glancing at Kimmie and Shane, who avoided his eyes.

Chester and Jacoby smirked, "There was no evidence to hold them," Jacoby continued, "Boyd wants Shadz off his back, and according to McNicoles, kidnapped the Berrys at gun point, and force the rest of them off the road. McNicoles got ahold of the stuff you sent, and is following them right now." he finished. "You sure we can trust him?" Mike asked. "He may be an asshole, but he's a good cop," Kimmie piped up, Shane and Richard backing her up with nods, "And if there is one thing he can't stand more than you guys," she said motioning around with her finger at them, "It's people that abuse their power for corruption." she finished. "It's true," Richard cut in, "He may want to bring down Avenged, but he's not going to want them to end up dead at Boyd's hands." he said. "Good enough for me." Chester said leaning back in his seat.

The room filled with a thick silence as everyone let the newly gathered information sink in. "So what are we going to do?" Kimmie asked finally growing irritated that no one was trying to come up with a plan. "We?" Chester asked cocking a brow at her. "Oh you haven't heard," Coby said nudging him with his elbow, "She's in love with Shadz." he told him with a smirk, and Chester chuckled. "Oh really?" he asked with amusement, and Kimmie felt her face get hot with anger. "Yeah, screamed it from the roof tops when Tammy was in her face." Jacoby continued to poke fun at her. "Awe did the good girl cop fall for the big bad gangster?" Chester taunted as chuckles spread through the room.

Kimmie finally had enough and snapped, "So fucking what!? Yes I fell in love with M. Shadows leader of Avenged Sevenfold," she said standing and making a scene like girls do best, "There it's fucking out there! Can we drop it, and focus on the real problem here. Boyd's going to sell Tammy, and probably execute the rest, and you two are busy being fucking children!" she said crossing her arms, and glaring at them. The two leaders stared back at her with clear amusement on their faces, "Must be that time of the month." Chester mumbled to Jacoby, and chuckled filled her ears once again.

She plopped down on the couch with a frustrated huff. "Oh relax," Jacoby said, and she glared at him again, "We can't figure out what to until we hear from McNicoles." he said just before Richard's phone went off in his pocket. "Speak of the Devil." he mumbled looking at the screen. "Is that him?" Chester asked his eyes lighting up, and Richard nodded, "Put him on speaker." he said a little excited. He hasn't gotten to fuck with him in awhile. Richard answered the call on speaker, "Are you still at the house?" Kevin's voiced sounded through the room. "Yeah, he is." Chester answered for him. There was a pause on the other line. "Bennington?" Kevin asked, disbelief clear in his voice. "What's up man? Been a long time." Chester greeted with a smirk that Kevin couldn't see. "What the fuck is going on?" Kevin growled. "Nothing. We've been waiting on you." Jacoby spoke up. Another pause. "You're there too?" McNicoles asked sounding more annoyed. "Did you think I wouldn't be?" Jacoby asked.

Kimmie grew irritated once again. Why can't they just get on with this? Is everything a fucking game to them? "Can we cut this crap, and let him tell us what the fuck is going on?" she snapped. Chester and Jacoby shared a glance, "Definitely that time of the month." Jacoby agreed with his previous statement. Kimmie rolled her eyes at their snickers, "What's going on?" she asked taking over the phone conversation. She just needed to know Matt was alive and okay. "Boyd just left," Kevin started, "You going to follow him?" Jacoby interrupted. "No. He has the guys held up in an old meat packaging factory. I'm working on finding a way in." he told them.

Kevin didn't exactly like the idea of working with gangs, but right now they were the only ones he could trust for this job. He watched them from a distance as they loaded up Avenged from the crash sight, spotting even a few of his own cops from different departments. All on Boyd's payroll. He couldn't bring cops in, and was finding himself needing to trust the very ones he's been trying to bring down his whole career. Kevin sighed and leaned against his car. "I can't do this by myself. He has so many people working for him, even some of our own." he told them.

Kimmie watched smirks spread through the room, "Are you asking for our help McNicoles?" Jacoby taunted. "Don't get cocky. If anything you need me. I know where they are." he shot, his own smirk coming out when the line on the other end was quiet. "And where is that?" Richards voice sounded through for the first time since he answered his phone. "I'll send you the address. Come packing, he has a small army."
