Chapter 53
Third Person POV:
“Are you sure your well enough to go?” Matt asked Jimmy as him and Zacky carried Jimmy’s Rascal downstairs to the basement. “I wouldn’t miss this even if I wasn’t.” Jimmy said sitting in his motorized chair. Matt sighed, and pushed the button under the last stair that opened the hidden escape tunnel door. It’s been two weeks since Jimmy was shot, and time for Matt to make his first move. Dan was watching today. Matt’s been listening in on phone conversations, and reading text. Jimmy cloned their phones. Once he had a home address, he had the names of the people that received mail there. Once he had those names, he had the phone companies that provided them with coverage. It’s really all child’s play for him, but hey hasn’t it been mentioned that Jimmy’s a badass. Everything that comes in and out on those four phones, they see and hear.
Matt was going with his hunch about Johnny, and is sending him to the grocery store “alone”. Zacky and Jimmy would be leaving out of the escape garage. They’re going to follow Dan, following Johnny. “Just don’t over do it.” Matt said as they headed down the tunnel, Zacky walking next to Jimmy’s chair. “Okay dad.” Jimmy said with a roll of his eyes. Matt chuckled before turning, and closing the door. “Want a ride pretty lady.” Jimmy asked with a grin looking up at Zacky. Zack couldn’t help but laugh. “Why I would absolutely adore one.” he said in a southern bell voice, and climbed into Jimmy’s lap. “To the escape vehicle, AWAY!” Jimmy said pushing the pedal to go. “I think walking would be faster.” Zacky said looking at Jimmy. “What are you talking about? This thing has mad speed. It tops out at 10mph.” Jimmy said defensively. “You’re just weighing it down.” he added with a smirk. “Me? You sure it’s not all your “muscle” weighing it down?” Zack asked making quotations with his fingers. Jimmy hit the break. “You wanna walk?” he asked trying to be serious. “Shit I’ll probably beat you there.” Zacky said hopping off Jimmy’s lap. “You’re on.” Jimmy said taking off without warning. “That’s cheating!” Zacky yelled taking off running after him. “I’m injured! I get a head start!” Jimmy yelled over his shoulder. “And you’re still not going to win.” Zack said catching up to him before passing him. “That’s it time to turn on the turbo.” Jimmy said pushing a button, and then the pedal to the floor. “What’s turbo, 12mph!” Zacky asked over his shoulder. “25 Bitch!” Jimmy laughed as he whizzed past Zacky.
Jimmy reached the door to the stairs that lead up to the garage, and waited for Zacky, a victorious smile on his face. Zacky came up, out of breath, and hunched over, placing his hands on his knees. “You’re,” he started taking a few breaths, “Suchafuckincheater.” he finished quickly before collapsing to the floor. Jimmy grinned down at the man trying to catch his breath on the floor. “And you’re such a fuckin baby.” he said standing, and helping Zacky up. Jimmy placed his hand on the reader that opened the door to the stairs. Everyone's hand prints were in the database. The door opened upwards, and the two made their way up. “Ready for some fireworks?” Zack asked as he pulled out. “Fuck yea.” Jimmy said, the grin never leaving his face the whole way there.
“Will you stop that?” Tammy giggled as Brian kissed on her neck. “Sorry you just look sexy crouched there with a sniper riffle.” he said continuing his assault. They were setup several yards away from the house Disturbed was staying in. “We’re here to do a job,” she said shutting him down, “Play time later.” she promised looking back at him and quickly pecking his lips. “Fine.” he pouted making her giggle a little. “Watch it or Ima cut that bottom lip off.” she playfully threatened as he stood up next to her. “You wouldn’t?” he asked playing defense placing a hand on his chest. She looked up at him with a grin. “No probably not.”she said standing, “Cause then I couldn’t do this.” she said wrapping her arms around him, and connecting their lips. “You’re making it really hard to wait till later.” Brian groaned as they pulled apart. “I can tell.” Tammy smirked as she let her hand graze the hardening member beneath his jeans. She gave him a quick peck before crouching behind the riffle again. “Fucking tease.” Brian chuckled as he looked through his binoculars towards the Disturbed house.
Matt stood alone in Jimmy’s computer room. He hit a few keys on the key board to listen to the phone call Dan was making to Dave. He’s watched Jimmy enough times to have a general idea of what he’s doing. He watched Dave with a cold expression on the monitor. “What’s going on?” Dave asked answering his phone. “The little one’s leaving.” Dan said. “You know what to do.” Dave said ending the call. Matt smirked to himself. “I fucking knew it.” he mumbled to no one. He took a seat in Jimmy’s computer chair, and leaned back with his fingers laced behind his head. All he had to do now was wait.
Johnny pulled up to the grocery store, and went inside. Jimmy was filling him in on Dan’s movements, and had to get inside before Dan parked. Dan parked several spaces away. There weren’t many cars around. He watched Johnny disappear into the store, and sat, waiting till he came out. It was going to be quick. He kept his car running, and was just going to drive up, and put a bullet in the little fucker’s head. He didn’t care how long it took for someone to die. Unlike Dave, the quicker the better in his eyes.
Dan kept his eyes on the front entrance. He didn’t see Johnny go out the back storeroom exit, and hide behind a dumpster in full view of his car. Johnny pulled out his phone, and started recording Dan sitting in his car. Dan kept his eyes on the entrance. He didn’t see Jimmy and Zacky park across the street, and make their way over. “I’ll be behind that red car.” Jimmy said pointing out a car in clear view of Dan’s window. Zack nodded, and they parted.
Zacky slowly crept up to the gas tank on the passenger side of the car. He pulled out a fuze that was long enough for him to get away. Quietly, he opened the gas cap, and stuck in the fuse, leaving enough to light and run. He smirked, pulling out his zippo. Dan had the windows up and the air on, and couldn’t hear anything going on outside. When you’re not moving this California heat could get to you. Zacky brought the zippo down on his leg opening it, and back up against the side of his thigh, lighting it. He brought it up, and lit the fuse. He quickly flicked it shut, and took off low, but quickly to where Jimmy was waiting. Johnny kept his phone recording Dan, capturing everything that was going on. Zacky smiled at Jimmy when he came around the side of the random car. “Ready?” he asked, receiving an excited nod from Jimmy.
“Now Johnny.” Jimmy said into the mic attached to his sleeve. Simultaneously the three came out into Dan’s view. Johnny being noticed first since he was in front view. With a smile Johnny waved at Dan as he continued to record with his phone. Dan stared in confusion before a loud whistle erupted from Jimmy grabbing his attention. He turned his head to the side, a look as if he seen a ghost washing over his face. The last thing he saw was Zacky and Jimmy smiling, and waving with one hand, their middle fingers raised on the other, just before his car exploded.
Matt smirked when he seen Johnny’s video message come across his phone. He watched it play out, smiling the whole time before sending it to Dave. Making sure his number was blocked, he forwarded the video to Dave, and watched as Dave watched. He wasn’t done yet, and Dave was reacting exactly how he expected. With rage. Matt watched with an evil smile as Dave gathered the rest of Disturbed. “Be ready.” he ordered Tammy, grabbing the mic off the desk. He wasn’t going to take them all out today. No, a smart person wouldn’t stay outside after what’s about to happen.
Tammy took in a deep breath, and held it for a moment as she watched the front door of the house through the scope. It was her pick between Mike or John. Just not Dave. Not yet. Brian watched through his binoculars as the front door flew open. Tammy exhaled taking sights on John. He was in the middle, Dave first, as they stormed out of the house. Slowly, she squeezed the trigger.
“What the fuck!” Mike yelled as John fell to the ground, the top half of his head missing. “Get back inside!” Dave yelled turning back, and running. Tammy giggled a little as she purposely missed a few shots to fuck with them. She heard a chuckle from Brian, and she looked up at him with a grin. “John’s down.” Brian to Matt into his mic meeting Tammy with his own grin. Matt smiled, and pulled up a new text on his phone.
Dave was in a rage. In a matter of minutes they had taken out two of his men. How it was possible he didn’t understand. He paced back and forth in front of Mike who still had a look of horror on his face. The sound of his phone stopped him dead in his tracks. He pulled it out of his pocket seeing a message from the unknown number, but he knew exactly who it was. Check Motherfucker….
