I stormed over to Zack's car. I wasn't going to leave him there and I'm not going to let Brian win yet again. If he wants a friendship he's going to have to stop being so jealous. I tried to open the car door but it was locked, so I just sat on the hood and laid back looking up at the stars letting a couple tears escape from my eyes. I just laid there and thought to myself, why was this happening to me? I don't want to be with Brian anymore. He's not the man I thought he would be. I love him to death and I think I always will, but I'm growing feelings for Zee. I never thought this would happen. Zack and I have been through a lot but nothing bad has ever happened to us other than me deserting him. I laid there for about five minutes trying to figure out what was going on. I didn't know how everything was going to be now that I kissed him.

Zack came walking up. "Fuck you Brian," he yelled. Fuck I screwed up their friendship. "I'm done with his shit. He's fucking to jealous of me and Lex. I don't care what he says I'm not staying away from her," he mumbled. I sat up. "Lex," he said shocked.

"Yeah," I said.

"Oh my god I thought you left," he said setting everything down.

"No why should I let him ruin our night," I said getting off the hood.

"I don't know because you love him," he said.

"Zee you know how I feel about him now. I love him, but I'm not in love with him. I can't be with him," I told him.

"You say that now but who knows what's going to happen later," he told me.

"Zack please let's not talk about this right now," I told him.

"Why not," he asked. "I need to know these things Lex," he said.

"Why do you need to know them? This is my personal life and I really don't want to talk about it," I said irritated.

"Because Lex," he said.

"Because why," I asked.

"That kiss didn't mean anything to you did it," he asked. I stood there silent. "I knew it. Lex just get in the damn car," he told me. I tried so hard to say something but I couldn't.

"No Zack why," I asked him.

"Because you don't want to deal with this now. You just kissed me back there and won't tell me if it even meant anything to you. It probably doesn't mean shit. I probably don't mean shit," he snapped. I walked up to him slowly. "It was probably just some fucking scam you have set up so you can get rid of Brian. Let me tell you something Lex I'm not..." I cut him off by pressing my lips against his.

I never have felt a kiss like this. It was like the ones you always dreamed of; the one that just lifts you off your feet and the one where it felt like no one else was on earth but you two. I pulled away and looked into his hazel green eyes. "It did mean something," I said quietly. He didn't say anything. His face was in shock. "I'm just not ready for this yet okay," I told him turning around walking towards the car.

"Lex wait," he said grabbing my arm.

I looked at him. "Wha..." he cut me off by kissing me again. This time it was way more passionate. Our lips moved slowly together in the most perfect way possible. The feeling I had before was ten times stronger and meant a lot more. He put his hand up behind my head and touched his tongue to my bottom lip asking for an entrance. I allowed it. Now we were standing in the parking lot of Central Park passionately kissing. Our tongues gently stroked each other. He pulled away earlier than I wanted him too. He put his forehead against mine. "I've loved you since we were sixteen years old," he whispered. I looked up at him. My eyes were filled with tears.

"Zee I know," I told him. He wrapped his arms around me. The feeling I had right there was what I've been missing and wanting. He filled the emptiness in my heart. I never pictured a moment better than this.

"I'll take you home," he said.

"Why," I asked.

"I don't want anything to be awkward," he said.

I laughed. "Why would it be awkward," I said. I grabbed his hand and we grabbed everything and walked back to where we were cuddled underneath the stars and fell asleep.

I woke up the next morning by the bright fiery ball in the sky. I sat up and looked at my phone. It was almost ten in the morning and I needed to go to work. I lightly shook Zack waking him up. "Zack I need to go home I have work," I told him.

He sat up rubbing his eyes. "Okay," he said. We got up packed up everything in the car and he drove me back to my house. We didn't really say much but I think it was because we both were still half asleep. He drove into my driveway and we got out. He walked me into my house. "I guess I'll see you later," he asked.

I nodded. "Of course," I said. He gave me a hug.

"I'll see you later then," he said walking out. I hurried and got ready for work and headed out the door.

I walked in. "Hey Lex," Zoey said.

"Hey," I told her.

"Man you look like shit," she said laughing.

"Long night last night," I laughed.

"Well what happened," she asked.

"Oh, well just put it this way, there's a guy that I've known for forever and I actually thought I was in love with him, but he went with this dumb ass skank, so I left and didn't talk to him or any of my old friends for years. Then, I ran into him and started talking to him again. He wanted me back and at the time I wanted him back too especially when I caught the skank cheating on him. But unfortunately she was still wanting him afterwards and some shit happened, so I just cut it off. He's going on this huge jealous rampage now though with me and my best friend. And last night he showed up when me and Zack were hanging out and got all pissy so I kissed Zack and then ran off and then the night just ended of us making out," I explained.

"Wow a lot of drama," she said.

I nodded. "We should hang out tonight," she said. "I think me and you would get along really well," she said laughing.

"Alright well Zack probably will come if that's okay," I said.

"Well hell yeah," she said.

"Okay," I said walking back to my office.

The day went by pretty slow. I didn't have any clients so Zoey and I ended up leaving early. Me and her drove to my house and hung out for a while. She was pretty cool. At around eight I decided to call Zee. "Hello," he answered.

"Hey Zee wanna hang out with me and Zoey," I asked him.

"Zoey the new chick you work with right," he asked remembering what I told him last night.

"Yes," I said.

"Alright cool just as long as I'm not trampled," he said sarcastically. I laughed and we said our goodbyes. Zoey and I left to Aaron's bar.

"You ready for a kick ass night," I told her walking into the bar.

"Lex," Aaron yelled. I smiled at him. I haven't seen him since I went to his house. He ran up to me and gave me a hug.

"Hey Aaron this is Zoey," I told him pointing at Zoey.

She blushed. "Hello," she said shyly. He smiled.

"Is Zack here," I asked him.

"Yeah he's back there," he said pointing to the back.

I walked back to him. "Hey Zee," I said sitting down.

"Holy fuck you're Zacky from Avenged," Zoey said excited.

I flashed a look at her. "You know Avenged," I asked.

"Fuck yeah one of my favs," she said.

"Oh well sorry Zack I didn't know," I said laughing.

"Ah it's all good," he said. Aaron brought our first round of drinks and we started off the night.
