The first few weeks were hell with Avery, but it was expected. She cried so much and hardly slept. Me and Zack would switch off nights. He loved staying up all night with her, though. Me, however, I need my sleep. Tonight it was my night to sleep, but I was tossing and turning all night. Zack cuddled up to me to make me feel comfort. I woke up for the fourth time. I rolled over and noticed Zack wasn’t there. I got up and slowly made my way to Avery’s nursery. I was right outside the door when I heard Zack singing. I slightly smiled and looked in the crack of the door. I saw him holding Avery in his arms rocking back and forth in the rocking chair singing Warmness on the Soul. A tear formed in my eye and rolled down my cheek. I listened closely as he softly sang to our daughter. His voice was amazing and soothing. I loved him so much. I sat down by the door and listened to him sing more and more songs to her and she slowly went back to sleep. Before I knew it, though, I was asleep myself.

I woke up the next morning in my own bed. I turned my head and saw Zack sound asleep. He was so cute. I slowly and quietly got out of bed and made my way to Avery so I could feed her. She was asleep herself so I quietly picked her up and walked downstairs with her. I fed her and cuddled up to her while watching TV. I instantly started thinking about last night and pictured Zack with her.

About an hour passed and I heard Zack coming down the stairs. I smiled and got up slowly and met him halfway.

“Hey sleepy head.” I smiled.

“Hey.” He smiled taking Avery.

“Did you sleep good?” I asked.

He nodded. “Did you?”

“Yep the best I have for a while.” I smiled and walked back to the couch. I sat down and continued watching TV.

“So you heard me last night?” He asked laughing.

“Yep.” I smiled. “It made me fall asleep.”

“Obviously, I had to take you back to bed.” He laughed.

I shrugged my shoulders. “Your fault.” I smiled. “I thought it was amazing. I loved it. I even cried.”

“Did you really?”

“Mhmm”

“You’re crazy.” He laughed and started playing with Avery.

We spent that day just sitting around and playing with Avery. Val and Matt came over for a bit and hung out. Val adored Avery so much. I couldn’t wait until they finally decide to have a child.

The next few weeks passed and mine and Zack’s wedding date was growing rather close. The girls and I went back to the Bridal Store and made sure that dress would fit me just right and it did. It was gorgeous and just perfect. I loved it. Zack and I had settled on the beach for the ceremony and then we would go back to this really nice building for the rest of the evening. I was getting really nervous about getting married but I was excited. I had already started writing my vows to Zack.

I had chosen Val to be my maid of honor and then Zoe, Lacey and Leana for my bridesmaids. Zack had Jimmy his best man and then the rest of the guys for the grooms men. The wedding was actually only two weeks away. Avery was growing big and I was getting ready to go back to work the week after mine and Zack’s honeymoon. We’re going to Italy. Val said that she would take Avery for the time being and that she would also switch off with mine and Zack’s parents’.

But it was getting close to the time of the bachelor and bachelorette parties. I was excited but also terrified. I know the guys are going to get strippers and all that and just the thought of another girl’s hands on my man just makes me cringe. I had to let it happen though. I had no idea what the girls had planned for me but I’m sure it’ll be something amazing. I was excited for it and I’m sure Zack is excited for his.

I am so sorry about posting chapter 44 twice. I posted late last night and wasn't paying much attention.
