Zack had picked me up from Val’s and Matt’s and loaded up all the stuff we had gotten. He was shocked by all the wonderful gifts that were given to us. Once we had gotten home we had set all the stuff in the room that was going to be the nursery. We haven’t started decorating it yet, but that should be done rather soon due to my condition. We decided we would do in the next week.

For the remainder of this week though Zack and I didn’t do much. We just had some family over and of course the guys and the girls. We all just hung out and stuff.

Today was the day me and Zack were going to start doing the nursery. First off, we started by moving everything in it to the guest room for the time being. We had settled on painting the room purple and pink. We were going to go out tomorrow together and pick bedding and the little things we didn’t already have.

Hours passed and the room was painted and dried. Zack had moved in the crib that his mom had bought us and set it up along with a changing table. We had moved in some other things that would be necessary like a rocking chair and a dresser. Once he was finished putting up everything I had decided to ahead and put up Avery’s clothes and stuff.

All in all it took all day to finish and by the time it was finished me and Zack both were beat. We had ate dinner and passed out shortly after.

The next morning we had went ahead and shopped for last bit of stuff we needed and a bunch of other things. Going out and about also made me remember that the wedding dress was just about to be off of hold so I needed to get with Val and go choose which one I wanted and see if they will hold it ‘til I have the baby.

Once we got home I had instantly called up Val. Zack was busy in his office so I secretly called. I didn’t want him to know I was already looking for a dress. When he asks about it that’s when I’ll tell him.

“Hello.” Val answered.

“Hey Val. You wanna go to the bridal store with me? All those dresses are about to be taken off of hold.”

“Oh yes of course! Let’s go.” She laughed.

“Okay I’ll come pick you up in like ten minutes.” I said.

“Sounds good. I’ll be ready.” I hung up and walked into Zack’s office.

“Baby I’m going to go out with Val for a bit.” I told him standing in the doorway. He turned around in his chair.

“Okay.” He smiled. “I’m going to just do my work.” He laughed. “Have fun.”

“I will.” I smiled. I walked back into our room and touched up getting ready. I walked out and told Zack bye and headed over to Val’s. Once I got there I really didn’t feel like getting out so I just honked and she ran out. She got in.

“Hey.” She smiled while putting on her seatbelt.

“Hey.” I laughed while backing out.

“I’m so excited. Have you decided which one you want yet?”

“Yes actually I think I have. But I can’t buy it yet.” I sighed.

“Why not?”

“I don’t know what my size is going to be after Avery gets here.”

“Oh yeah duh.” She laughed.

“Yeah so I’m going to see if they’ll go ahead and put it on hold if I pay like a payment or something.”

“I’m sure they will if you’ll pay the down payment. How much will you pay for it?”

“As much as they want. I don’t have a price limit.” I laughed. “With mine and Zack’s income we could have anything we want.” I laughed.

“I know. That’s how Matt and I are.”

“I love it.” I smiled and pulled into the parking lot of the bridal store. I happily got out and so did Val. We walked in and the same lady that was working before was working again.

“I was wondering when you were coming back.” She laughed.

“Yeah sorry. I’ve had a lot of preparation to do for the baby.” I laughed.

“It’s understandable. So have you chosen yet?” She asked anxiously.

“Actually yes I have. I know exactly which one I want but I don’t know what size. So I was just wondering if I could pay maybe a down payment of whatever you want and you guys could hold it for a couple months until Avery gets here.”

“Well of course you can. If you can just pay a payment of probably around $500 then I can definitely hold it for you and if in the end you don’t want that dress for whatever reason I’ll pay the money back.” She smiled.

I sighed in relief. “Oh thank god. That’s great.”

“Okay let’s go get your dress.” She smiled. We walked back to the dresses that were on hold and she pick up the four I had. I chose the one I wanted and paid the $500 and was out of there. I was happy that everything was working out. Me and Val went out for lunch and then I took her home and went back home to my fiancée and finished off the wonderful night.
