Me and Zoe drove the long drive back and didn't get home 'til it was dark. It was around ten or so. Zoe decided to go ahead and just come with me to break the news with Zack just in case he flipped. I didn't think he would but there is always that chance. I pulled in the driveway and saw the bedroom light on. Good he's home. We both got out and walked up the stairs and opened the door. Zack was passed out on the couch.

“Of course leave it up to him to leave the lights on and pass out.” I laughed. I walked over to him and shook him lightly. “Zack.” He opened his eyes.

“Lex? What are you doing here?” He asked confused.

“Something came up Zee. We need to talk.” I told him. He sat up and I sat down next to him.

“Is it bad?” He asked with a worried expression plastered on his face.

I shook my head. “I don't think it is. I think it's wonderful. But you're a different story.”

“Well tell me.” He said impatiently. I looked up at Zoe and back at Zack.

“Well this is unbelievable and you may not believe me but I'm pregnant Zack.”

His eyes widened, but they weren't as big as his smile. “Are you sure?” He asked.

“No not totally sure because I've only done a store bought test but my mind is telling me I am.” I laughed. He grabbed me into a hug.

“That's amazing Lex.” I smiled and looked at Zoe a little teary eyed. He was happy that I bearing his child. I hope I can carry it to term. I hope it's true and we can have a beautiful baby girl or boy running around. This was a once in a lifetime chance. It was a miracle. I didn't believe in them before but this one is truly a miracle.

“You're not mad or anything?” I asked him.

“No of course not. We both were told we won't be able to start a family. And now you're sitting here telling me we can. No wait we are.”

I smiled at him. “I'm glad you feel that way.” I looked at Zoe. She was happy for us but could tell she wanted to go home and see Brian. It's only been a day but still.

“I'm gonna run Zoe home and drop her off 'kay.” He nodded.

“Okay I'm gonna go call the guys and my mom.” He said excited.

I jumped up and me and Zoe walked out.

“Wow he took that way better than I expected.” Zoe laughed.

“I know me too.” I told her. “I thought he was gonna freak out on me. Because when I first got pregnant he told me that it just wasn't a good time. What makes now so different?”

“Well you guys have been through a lot since that happened Lex.”

“Yeah I know.” We got in the car and started to drive to Brian's house. “I hope Zack and Brian made up. Zack hasn't said anything about it.”

Zoe nodded. “I really hope so too. It would be good if everything could go back to normal now since we've fixed our friendship you know.”

“Yeah. I really hope so too.”

“I'm sure they did. But who knows.”

“I think I'm gonna come in and tell Brian about being pregnant if that's okay?”

“Yeah of course.” We pulled into the driveway and got out. Zoe walked in front of me and opened the door.

“Bri honey I'm home.” She called. A tired Brian walked down the stairs.

“Why are you guys here? I thought you were staying a whole week there?” Brian walked to Zoe and wrapped his arms around her.

“Well Brian.” I said. “Um I'm pregnant.” His eyes widened.

“I thought you couldn't have kids?” He said confused.

“I thought so too.” I laughed.

“Well congrats.” He said giving me a friendly hug.

“Thanks.” I smiled.

“Me and Zee are back to normal by the way.”

“Really?” I said excitedly.

“Yeah we talked after you guys left.”

“That's great.” I smiled. “But I better get home. Come by sometime and Zoe I'm taking advantage of this week and not going to work.” I laughed.

“Me too!” She said.

“Alright see you guys later.” I said walking out. I got in my car and drove away.
