The ride to Las Vegas was long but fun! Me and Zoe stopped everywhere literally. Especially when I got a sudden craving for steak! I didn't know what this trip had in store for us but all I was hoping is that it was going to be fun.

Once we got to the hotel we got settled in and we both decided on just relaxing and starting our adventure in the morning. So we both crawled in our beds and called our men.

“Hey baby.” Zack's voice came from the phone.

“Hey.” I smiled.

“Why are you calling me?” He laughed. “Aren't you supposed to be having fun?”

“Yeah we just got in. Me and Zoe both decided on just relaxing tonight and starting tomorrow.”

“Ah yeah it's a long drive there. Did you drive the whole way?”

“Na Zoe drove some of it. We stopped at a lot of places. Especially for steak.” I laughed.

“Steak?” He questioned.

“Yeah I had a sudden craving for it.” I laughed.

“You're crazy.” He laughed.

“Yeah so what's fun to do out here in Vegas?”

“Well when I go there I go gamble and party.” He chuckled.

“Of course you do.” I joked.

“Seriously I do.” He laughed.

“I think we're just gonna go drive around and find cool places to go and all that.”

“Best thing to do.”

“Alright well I'll let you go. I wanna sleep.” I laughed.

“Okay well goodnight. I love you.”

“I love you too goodnight.” I hung up the phone and fell asleep almost instantly.

The next day I woke up by Zoe pouncing on my bed.

“What the fuck.” I laughed and threw the pillow at her.

“It's noon let's go.” She headed for the door.

“Well I gotta take a shower and shit.”

“I know I was going to go get breakfast.” She laughed. I nodded and sat up and ran my hand through my bed head. I picked up my phone and sent a quick text to Zack and then hopped in the shower. Afterwards, I got my clothes on and put my hair up in the towel. I walked out and sat down on the bed and ate a little bit of the food Zoe brought up.

“We'll be heading out in about thirty minutes.” I told her swallowing the last bite of food I had and getting up to go put make up on. She nodded. I didn't feel too well after eating. I had the sudden urge to vomit. And of course I did.

“You okay?” Zoe called from the other side of the bathroom door.

“Yeah I'm fine. I don't know what overcame me.” I opened the door and walked out. “You ready?” She nodded and we headed out the door.

“So I was thinking we'll go to the art exhibit first.” Zoe said showing me a little brochure she got.

“That sounds great.” I smiled. She knew how much I adored art. I missed my best friend.

We drove around 'til we finally found the exhibit. We both got out and walked in. It was unbelievable. There was so much beautiful art there. I could hardly stand it. Exaggeration I know. We spent about an hour or so in there and then finally decided to leave.

“What's next?” I asked Zoe.

“Um... How about the..” She looked through all her brochures and stopped at one. “This.” She smiled.

I took the brochure and it was for the Shark Reef. It was to go face to face with sharks. Seemed scary but oh so exciting.

“Okay let's do it.” We drove there and did our thing there. It was quite interesting seeing them and stuff. Definitely worth it. After we were finished with that we decided to go ahead and go grab a bite to eat. I was starving and craving hamburgers! So we settled on just a simple burger joint that was close by. It was a drive in.

We drove in ordered our burgers and parked and ate and talked. I was really beginning to enjoy this.

“So uh Zoe I was thinking we've done quite a bit today. So maybe we can head back. I'm not feeling too good.” I told her.

“Oh yeah, of course, we still got six more days here.” She laughed.

“Okay thanks.” I finished up the burger and went back to the hotel. I don't know why I wasn't feeling so good. Once I got back to the hotel, I called up Zack to let him know we called in another early night. He wasn't thrilled that I wasn't feeling good but he was happy for what little we did. I felt bad but I just couldn't deal with it that much. Tomorrow will hopefully be better.

After I got off the phone with Zack I took a quick shower and noticed my feet were really swollen. Strange. I wrapped a towel around me and walked out.

“Hey Zoe look at my feet.” I told her sitting down.

“Why are they swollen?”

“I guess from all the walking around.” I shrugged.

“That's strange Lex. Are you sure you're not pregnant?” Pregnant? Whoa I can't be. That's impossible. I'm infertile.

“Zoe I can't be. I'm infertile remember.” I sighed.

“Yeah but that's not always a for sure. Some women still have kids when they are told that they are infertile.” The thought really sunk in. The symptoms do fit.

“How about we just go get a test.” Zoe said.

I shook my head. “I don't believe those sticks.”

“Lex you had one bad one. We really need to know. Cause if you are we're going home.”

“Why?”

“Because Lex. I want you to be home and not out here if you're pregnant. Plus you'll need to get to the doctor.” She laughed.

“But Zoe we were supposed to be here a freakin' week. I don't wanna ruin it.”

“It's not ruined. I had a lot of fun today. Let's just go get a test and then we'll go from there.”

“Okay.” I got up and walked back in the bathroom and got dressed. I walked back out and we left.

We drove to a local grocery store and ran in and bought a test. I got a different brand then last time. Hopefully this one won't fool me. Once we paid for it we rushed back to the hotel. I ran in the bathroom and did the test. I waited the long three minutes and finally I looked at it and it said positive!

“Zoe.” I called. She opened the door.

“What does it say?”

“It's positive.” I smiled.

She squealed. “Yay!”

I was extremely happy that there was a chance I could be having a baby. I was a little sad that we had to leave Las Vegas but I was anxious to tell Zack. We both didn't think we would ever be able to have a family together. We still haven't even gotten married yet. Speaking of which we were getting married in about a month. We haven't really done anything to get ready for it. We're probably gonna move it to the next month seeing the fact they even canceled the tour they were supposed to go on.

“Alright well I guess we should head out.” I told Zoe. She nodded.

“Yes we should. You want me to call up Zack?”

“No let's surprise him.” I smiled.

“Good idea!” We both ran out the hotel, checked out and then left.
