The next day me and Zoe went to work and believe me it was an easy day. Just a few clients and they flew by like no other. We called in all of our clients that made appointments, which was only two, and told them that we would have to reschedule. They weren't too happy but not much we could do, right?

After work I went home and started packing. Zack seemed a little down that I was going to be gone for the full week without him. But I hope he actually calls up Brian and see if they can fix their differences. If it wasn't for me everything would be fine but you know what there's not much I can do. I love Zack and Brian is just going to have to accept that.

“Babe.” Zack laid back on our bed while I was packing clothes.

“Hmm.”

“I'm gonna miss you.” I turned at him and smiled.

“I'll miss you too.” I walked over and sat at his feet. “It'll go by fast promise.”

“Maybe for you. Fuck you'll be in Vegas.” He laughed.

“Well you really should call up Brian. I mean you guys can't be like this forever.”

“Well he just needs to get over you is all.”

“Zack c'mon you know how many girls want you?” I looked at him.

“So that's just cause I'm sexy.” He smirked.

“And I'm not! Jerk.” I said playfully and threw the pillow at him and got up and started putting more clothes in my bag.

He jumped up and walked behind me and wrapped his arms around me.

“You're beautiful.” He said kissing my neck. I spun around and wrapped my arms around his neck.

“Well you're pretty handsome yourself Baker.” I smiled and pecked him on the lips.

“I love you Lex. Don't forget that on your trip 'kay.” I pulled my hands away from his neck and laid them at my side.

“I won't. I love you too.” I laughed.

I finished packing up my clothes and then laid back and relaxed the rest of the night. Me and Zoe would be leaving pretty early in the morning.

The next morning I rose early and made breakfast. Of course, Zack got up with me. It was pretty nice having him so happy and me the same for once. It's been awhile. At about nine thirty Zoe showed up... With Brian. Great please don't make him ruin this for me.

“Hey Lex. Sorry about bringing Bri.” She told me.

“Eh don't worry about it. One day we'll be able to be civil to one another.” I looked at him. He smiled.

“Hey Lex.” He said happily.

“Hey Brian.” I could feel the tension between us but I just ignored it. I didn't wanna fight with him right now. All I wanted was to get on the road and be happy.

“Alright Zoe we should be getting going soon.” I broke the silence. She nodded.

I walked over to Zack and wrapped my arms around him.

“I'll miss you.” I told him smiling.

“I'll miss you too baby.” He gave me a light kiss and we pulled away and he walked me out to my car. Zoe said bye to Brian and jumped in the front seat. I said bye to Zack one more time gave him one more kiss then got in the driver’s seat started the car and pulled out the driveway. The beginning to one fun ass week! Well at least I hope.

Zack's POV

“There they go.” Brian said turning and looking at me.

“Yup.” I said turning around and heading back into the house.

“Hey Zack.” Brian stopped me.

“What?”

“Are we really gonna let one girl ruin our friendship?” He asked bluntly.

“Well bro I only have one problem.”

“And what is that?”

“You still have feelings for my fiancé.” I told him.

“Zee I've tried to get rid of them. I'm not going to take her away from you. Fuck she doesn't even want me.” He snapped.

“No but you did fuck her.”

“Zack you cheated on her. She came over and just needed someone to talk to. It felt right to kiss her and she didn't stop me.”

“She didn't stop you because she thought I cheated on her, which I didn't. You caught her at the worst time. She was fragile. Her emotions were a wreck and she didn't know what was going on.”

“She still cheated.” He said.

“And so did you. What makes her so different? Is it just because she loves me and not you? Are you just jealous?”

“I am not jealous of you two!” He snapped.

“Then what is this?” I pushed.

“Okay look at what me and her have been through Zack. Okay I've known her since we were little for god sakes. What else do you expect from me?”

“The last time I checked Brian you pretty much left her for Michelle.” I looked at him. I was angry and hurt that my best friend would be acting like this.

“Zack you don't understand. No one does.” He sighed.

“Well, all I want from you is to have my best friend back just how it used to be and for you to leave Lex alone. You guys can be friends I'm fine with that but no pulling the 'I love you' shit.”

He nodded. “No more I promise.”
