Zoe and I both left the shop that night happy. We both were excited for this vacation. She was going to come over tomorrow since it's our day off and discuss the places we wanna go. I think this will be great for us. Not only as friends but for ourselves.

When I got home Zack was laying on the couch on his laptop working on his clothing line.

“Hey baby.” I smiled.

“Someone's happy.” He laughed. He sat up and set his laptop down on the coffee table. I walked over and sat down next to me.

“Yeah I am. I think me and Zoe need a vacation together.”

“Really? When we going?” He asked.

“Without you silly. Just me and Zoe. She's gonna come over tomorrow and we are going to plan it. If that's okay with you anyway?”

“Of course it's fine with me.” He laughed.

“Okay.” I smiled and he grabbed me into a hug. I gave him a soft peck on the lips and ran upstairs to take a shower.

After my shower me and Zack cuddled and talked until we fell asleep. I went to bed happy and woke up the same way. I woke up around noonish. Zack was already awake and in his office. I got up and walked in there.

“Morning.” I said wrapping my arms around him.

“Hey.” He turned around and made me sit on his lap. “When's Zoe gonna be here?”

“Anytime.” I smiled.

He nodded. “You better get ready then.”

“Eh nah I'm good. It's not like she's gonna freak or anything.” I laughed.

He shrugged his shoulders. “Whatever.” He laughed.

“You're silly Baker.” I got up and walked out. He seemed rather happy today too. Something’s going on? I wonder what. I walked downstairs and into the kitchen to make me some breakfast. I already could tell Zack ate because of the dishes in the sink. I swear that boy cannot do his dishes. I'm thinking of hiring a maid so I don't have to.

After I was done eating Zoe showed up. Talk about good timing. She walked in and sat down on the couch.

“So Lex where we gonna go?”

“Well I was thinking we could go up to Las Vegas!”

“Oh my god! That's perfect! I've never been so it will be an experience of a lifetime!” Zoe was so excited.

“I haven't either!”

“Okay so when are we going to go?”

“As soon as possible. I already talked to Zee about it and he's fine with it. Did you talk to Brian?”

“Yeah he doesn't care. Now we just gotta ask Ian for time off.”

“That should be easy.” I pulled my phone out and dialed his number.

“Hello.” Ian answered.

“Hey Ian it's Lex. I gotta question.”

“Okay shoot.”

“Well me and Zoe were wondering if we could take a week off so we could go up to Las Vegas.”

“Ooo okay yeah you guys can but make it as soon as possible. I got conventions going on in a couple weeks.”

“Alright well then we'll go in a couple days.”

“Okay have fun!”

“Thanks so much see you tomorrow.”

“Bye.” I hung up the phone.

“He said we can go but as soon as possible because he has conventions coming up.” I told Zoe.

“Okay so how about day after tomorrow?”

“That sounds great. I can see if Zack can give me some money and then we'll go out.”

“Sounds great!” Zack started walking down the stairs.

“I heard my name.” He laughed.

“Yeah babe you think I could borrow some money for our trip. We're leaving earlier than expected because Ian has conventions coming up.”

“Well of course. You shouldn't even need to ask me it's your money too.”

“I don't work for it.” I laughed.

He shrugged his shoulders. “So.” He laughed.

“Alright well we're leaving the day after tomorrow.”

“Alright.” He walked in the kitchen and grabbed a beer. “I guess me and Brian should go out and try and fix our problems. I don't know how we're going to go on tour with all this shit going on now.”

“Well fix it. You guys are best friends and I'll be damned if I'll ruin that.”

“Yeah I'll call him later and see.”
