Oh I cried too. While this wouldn’t have been the first time I’ve seen them, it was going to be the first time I’ve seen their headliner tour. I’ve only seen them at festivals or opening for Metallica

Ugh, I know. It’s heartbreaking. It would’ve been my first time seeing them and I was SO excited. I’m not ashamed to admit that I literally cried when I found out.

is it weird to say I look forward to your comments? Because I DO. It’s funny you say that about Maria, because she’s actually based on a woman I worked with about 10 years ago. She was a handful of years older than me, but VERY protective and motherly. And vocal. And taught me all the bad Spanish words. I was in a shitty relationship at the time and she not-so-subtly hinted that I needed to kick the dude to the curb and move up to something (anything) better. She was named Maria, if you can believe it. At any rate, THANK YOU for every kind and encouraging word you’ve said! <3

Love it. Glad she finally got away from Jack, hope he doesn't start causing trouble though he probably will. Really hope Brian kicks his stupid ass. Poor Jimmy, but I am glad that he isn't friends with Jack. Can't wait for you to upload the next chapter.

I absolutely agree that we need 5 more chapters, pronto! But I write this as I'm neglecting to finish my next update to my satisfaction so I understand that life always gets in the way.

I'm loving your insights on Brian, especially now that he's becoming more transfixed with Anna, whether he's ready to accept that or not. I'm also so stoked that Anna mustered up the courage to leave Jack, especially now that she has a solid support group building up with Val, the guys, and Maria. I know Jack's retaliation is coming and I CANNOT wait for the Brian/Jack confrontation (I know I've mentioned that already but I am SO excited) and the one-liner insults that Jimmy's probably going to thwart Jack with.

Also, I love Maria. She reminds me heavily of a woman I work with. It seems that all food industry jobs attract this personality. I always chuckle when she makes an appearance!
