I'm a bit behind in catching up, but this was a beautiful job as always. I am really enjoying this story and all the background you are giving us from the past. Her relationships with each of the guys so far, sans Brian are so fascinating. I can't wait to read more about her and Val though, my hairs cackle when I begin to even think of what went down between those two. So here I am, waiting patiently for more. <3

Hahaha I love your reactions! :P Brian has this problem where he doesn't always consider what he's about to do before he does it so everything comes out wrong. Got to work on that...Every time I see ducks, I think of him! I can't even fathom how many times I've watched the video of him chancing the stallion ducks! Awwh, that's so sweet <3 I bet the ducks love it<3 Haha I love how suspicious of Val you are! Glad you're enjoying!! I'll update realyl soon! Like maybe tomorrow (Thursday) or Friday!

I absolutely loved this adventure Jimmy sent them on. Sort of a walk down memory lane type of thing. Man, how can you not love Jimmy. And those damned ducks. I yell at every duck I see. They're all over my parents pond and I always let them know how much I appreciate them in honor of Jimmy. Yes, I even keep the stale bread for them. Can't help it. It's my thing and my boyfriend teases me about it endlessly. :)
Val was quiet this go round. I still think there's more to her, but I shall wait patient;y for it all to unfold. Or not. I'm just enjoying this story so much and can't figure out what you're going to do next. I love that!! So feed me more soon, please??? <3

I'm so glad you love the little Jimmy flashback! <3 I love writing him in! I feel like you can never have too much Jimmy! Ohhh, you'll have to see if Val is genuine or not in coming chapters ;P Uh oh, there's some more Brian trouble in the chapter I just posted. He didn't listen when you said to stay away. How stinking cute is Jimmy in that flashback? Oh I so need more of that in my life. He's just everything!! But I'm biased. Haha
Why do I get the sense that Val is not as accepting of Jolie being back into the group as she is letting everyone believe. I don't know but there's something I'm not trusting about her motives, especially when she was trying to get her to open up. Maybe she thinks Matt has stronger feelings for her, even if he hasn't really shown more than support since her return.
Ah Brian, that man is trouble. He's plotting something isn't he? Jolie doesn't need a cocky Gates who thinks he's all that to try and turn her world anymore upside down that it already is. Tell him to leave her alone.
Worse, huh? Well best have me a six pack close for when you update again. My 'feels' can only handle so much. But really, great job so far. <3

Oh hell no! Alex is manipulating the shit out of her. I hope she sees in the 2 weeks what a mistake that would be. And panic attacks are brutal, so her wanting to keep everyone at arms length is completely understandable. But I do hope she keeps her word and lets at least one of them in before Alex can mind fuck her anymore. And backstory is everything, don't stop!! Waiting for more when you can. <3

Yay, I'm so glad you liked the flashbacks. I have quite a bit written and used a couple flashbacks. I wasn't sure if they would be annoying or not! I'll do my best! :)

Loved this update. Jolie is so fragile, and I'm glad Matt notcied that and handled the situation with care. The little flashbacks, seeing into their past, it was all so well thought out. Excited to see what happens when Matt finally texts her to get together. Keep up the good work. <3
