Yes! I love this ending! It's so realistic! If read a sequel, but I seem to be in the minority of liking this just how it is. You're writing is awesome and I've enjoyed your unique characters. If you do make a sequel, I think she should be with someone else so Brian can know what it's like to be hurt and jealous. But honestly I'd read anything you write!

This was such a cute chapter!
Riley's 'evaluation' on the situation with her mother was perfect. I though it was real special that she let her mom hold the baby first. Giving her that moment before she had to go. I understand Jude had to go, and I think you closed that part perfectly.

I love how Riley is taking care of her bonus son, as if he were her own. Their little interaction on the couch was so sweet!

And then Brian... Oh Brian... You need to stop being so perfect. I'm wondering what they will be doing. Hahaha.

So yes, life happens, writing won't go as fast as you want. I understand it all! :) Can't wait for the next chapter though! :)

Hey man, I get it. I work only two days a week but I've usually got a million other things on, or I'm severely lacking the motivation to write. Writer's block haunts me basically every day. I get it, life happens. You update whenever you can. I'm still absolutely loving this. :3

Yeah, sorry for changing the look for Riley, but you can imagine her whatever you want her to look like. I just felt this look suits her better in my head, but you can stick to lady Eden.
And I'm super thankful that you like this story so much. I try to update as frequently I can, but due to having two jobs and basically no days off... well... we can see how well I'm at managing all these great activities. :D I'd love to write more often, but what I'd love to do even more is to reply to these goddamn comments MORE fucking often. Goddamn my laziness. I guess responding in my head doesn't do no good, huh? :D

Hey, hun, you shouldn't be sad. Have you watched Game of Thrones? Those are some unlucky characters, I'm hardly as bad as mister Martin. Jude had a part to play in this story showing how even when you're dying you can't lose your sense of humor and the bright outlook on life. Loads of shitty things happen to good people - it's how you deal with it what matters the most. :)

The proposal was perfect, loved it. I thought about throwing one into one of my stories, not telling which, read on :P But it won't be the OC and Brian, but another couple, perhaps, not gonna go too much into detail. But yeah, it'll be far from that sappy romantic crap, for sure.

It's actually ridiculous how invested I am in this story, I hang out for updates and it makes my day when I see that little digit pop up in my notifications. I also noticed you changed Riley's likeness in the character bios and that's totally cool, but I'm kinda too far gone seeing Kelly Eden back when she used to be hella Goth to imagine her any other way now, haha.

I actually really like how that all went down. I mean, marriage proposals are sweet n all, but in fanfiction, I get a little tired of the ol' heartfelt speech and getting down on one knee with a lil jewelry box thing. Be original, be creative, and you did! Thank you! ^_^

This sounds like my proposal story, haha. My husband and I walked into Kays just for the Hell of it. Found rings we both liked and walked out with them. No words. We knew we were engaged, lol.
