Playing With Fire
Una Noche en Barcelona (part 1)
The white clouds rushed by as the plane flew through the air. Avenged Sevenfold was going to Spain and we couldn't be more excited. With my hand wrapped in Brian's I was content on the plane. The last time I had flown anywhere was when I was 12 and my parents took me and my brother to Hawaii to visit our grandparents. We stopped going after that trip because my parents got a divorce and it was my mother's parents that lived out there. Our dad got full custody. I laid my head on Brian's shoulder and yawned.
"We're almost there." He said in a low voice.
"I know. I'm still tired though. Jet lag is going to kill me." I smiled and he brought our hands up and kissed them. We'd been on the plane for over five hours and I could feel the time difference. It was like going to the future, but staying in the present.
"Attention passengers, we will be landing in about five minutes. Please stay seated until the light says to stand. Thank you for flying on American Airlines." The overhead speaker told us and I sat up and stretched. Five minutes later we were exiting the plane onto Spanish soil. It was great being in another country. Brian grabbed my hand, making me jump. He smirked next to me and I smacked his arm.
"Let's hurry up and get to the cars so we aren't bombarded." He smiled and shoved sunglasses on my face, it wasn't even sunny out.
"The hell are these for?" I asked.
"So the fans can't see your entire face. It helps, trust me." He said and we walked behind the bodyguards through the airport and outside and into the SUV's waiting for us.
"Alright guys, and girls, we're going to head to the hotel, get checked in and settled there. Then at eight we're going for a business dinner and heading to an interview. Tomorrow be up early, we have a press conference for the album and then a concert at five and then at nine." The manager said. They all nodded and got buckled.
"So is this your first time out of the US?" Val asked me. I nodded.
"You're gonna love Spain, it's so, what's the word?" Matt paused.
"Festive and alive." Val finished for him. I nodded and looked out the window at the buildings and foliage. It was amazing. The trees were so green and the buildings were like old timey American buildings. It was beautiful.
Shortly after we arrived at the hotel, which was a rather large, really expensive looking hotel. We all got out of the vehicle and walked into the hotel, and surprisingly, there were no fans to bombard us. I was slightly disappointed. The hotel clerk handed us our rooms keys and we were on our way upstairs. I was sharing a room with Brian, Matt and Val got a room, Johnny, Zacky and Arin all got their own rooms and the Berry's got a room. We all separated and went to our rooms. I fell back on the bed and stared at the ceiling with my arms out at a 90 degree angle.
"This bed is so comfy." I muttered and Brian chuckled.
"Ok." Brian said and plopped down on the bed next to me. "We are going out to dinner after the press conference, those only last about an hour and it's at six, so at nine I put in reservations at this place called Restaurant Barceloneta."
"Ok. I should dress up I'm guessing?" I asked. He nodded and then kissed me.
"I wish I could have my way with you, but it's five and we leave in a half hour." Brian pouted.
"That's a half hour away, we could do a quickie." I offered and he smirked but shook his head,
"I have to shower and get ready. I wish." He sighed and stood.
"I could shower with you." I said to him. He shook his head.
"These walls are paper thin, maybe if you are quiet, we can later tonight." He walked over to the bathroom and turned on the shower. I groaned and laid back and curled up.
"I'm gonna take a nap. Ok?" I yelled
"Yeah, whatever. I'll wake you up when we're gonna leave." Brian muttered from the bathroom. He closed the door and left me alone. I pulled the blankets back and curled up under them. The air condidtioning was cold. My eyes closed and I was out.
I woke a little while later when Brian was shaking me. My eyes opened and looked at him.
"As cute as you are when you sleep, brush your hair or whatever and let's go." He smirked and I stretched and yawned. He pulled the blankets back and I got out of the bed and walked to the bathroom to brush my hair into a messy braid. I ran back to my suitcase and grabbed a new outfit and changed in record time. My make-up can wait until the car. The heels were going on as we were walking out. As soon as I got my shoe on I grabbed Brian's hand and we walked down the stairs to the lobby. Thank god that only Val and Matt were there.
"Where are the other three fuckheads at?" Brian asked as we stood there.
"Still getting ready, which they need to hurry up or we're gonna be late." Matt sighed and had an annoyed look on his face. I smiled and pulled out my phone.
Hurry up ya bum. And grab Johnny and Zacky please? :) - Arin I.
"I just texted Arin to hurry up and grab the other two, so hopefully he'll listen." I said and rested my chin on Brian's shoulder.
"Damn you clean up nicely." Val commented as she eyed my outfit. I smiled.
"Thanks, I can be girly, when I want to be." I sighed and closed my eyes for a second.
"Here we are, sorry, Johnny was in the bathroom. Let's go." Zacky said and I opened my eyes and saw all three of them.
"You are going to be the death of me." I heard their manager mutter under his breath. We walked out of the hotel and we were greeted by a few fans hoping for autographs.
"Sorry, we are running late." Their manager kept saying but the guys didn't care and they signed some autographs and took pictures. Val and me stood to the side and smiled at them. I felt a tap on my shoulder and I turned my head to see a teenager with a paper and marker smiling at me.
"I'm Ever. Nice to meet you." She hugged me and I stood there surprised for a second before hugging her back.
"Come on eveyone, we gotta go." Matt Berry said and I let go and waved at Alecia and climbed into the SUV.
"You've got a fan." Val said. I smiled and buckled and got comfortable.
"That's cute." Brian said and rubbed my knee/leg. The car began moving and we drove for a good twenty minutes before stopping and turning off. We all got out and were faced with hundreds of paprazzi and fans. Brian grabbed my hand and pulled me through, trying to hide me in the process. We entered the building and walked down a hallway and into a room with a large table in the front and rows of chairs.
"Ok, the band and management will sit in these chairs, you two will stand, or sit, over here to the side." The manager instructed and we nodded.
When the guys went on, I stood next to Val quietly and listened. They all seemed so proud to talk about their new album coming out soon. After they got done and came backstage, Brian came over to me and hugged me and gave me a small peck on the lips.We walked out of the building and back into the cars and made our way back to the hotel. Now to go and get ready for my little date tonight.

Thank god that only Val and Matt were there.

"Thanks, I can be girly, when I want to be." I sighed and closed my eyes for a second.

"I'm Ever. Nice to meet you." She hugged me and I stood there surprised for a second before hugging her back.
"Come on eveyone, we gotta go." Matt Berry said and I let go and waved at Alecia and climbed into the SUV.
"You've got a fan." Val said. I smiled and buckled and got comfortable.
