Matt POV

I got a call from Zacky earlier telling me that I was going out with him and Brian because I haven't been out of the house for weeks. I really didn't want to go but I need I had two because those two fuckheads were going to be shitfaced and would try driving themselves home. I couldn't risk that.

It has been three weeks since Valary and I broke up, I couldn't take all the shit she was giving me for not being home as much as she would have liked. She told me that the studio and band was taking over my life. I couldn't believe it when she told me that, she acted like she couldn't of come to the studio with me, or even go to band related things with me. When I offered those ideas to her she would shut me down. We had this horrible fight about it, shit was thrown at walls, we said things that we shouldn't have said but it's over with.
For the first two weeks I stayed in my living room, never left my couch, just laid there watching TV or playing video games. I just wanted to be left alone. I had all the guys texting even stopping in to make sure I was alive and eating. They even tried to get me to leave the house, but no matter how hard they tried I wouldn't leave. They didn't understand that I needed time to myself, I just broke up with the girl I've been with since middle school. I just needed time to build myself back up.

I was watching the TV when I looked up at the clock knowing it was a good time to shower.
Sighing as I got up and making my way to the bathroom when I looked at myself in the mirror I took one looked at my face and said to myself "Holy shit Matt." I had bags under my eyes, I haven't shaved, my hair needed a cut. I looked like the most unattractive 25 year old there was. I turned on the shower and let it run for a few minutes while I was shaving my face and hair. After getting that done and getting out of the shower I put on jeans and a t-shirt and sent a text to Zacky and Brian
"Get over here." it read, knowing that if I didn't tell them I was ready that I was going to get about 15 different text messages, and 20 calls from them both. While I was brushing my teeth I heard two car doors slam, then my front door open.

"Matt man your living room looks like shit." says Brian.
"Yeah dude have you even moved from this area at all?" questioned Zacky.
"Yeah I have" I said walking out of the bathroom.
"Ok but the bathroom doesn't count." said Brian.
" I've been in the studio and the beach dick." I said

After that we walked outside and climbed into my car and headed off to the club. With Brian in the passenger seat and Zacky in the back, they knew exactly what to play to make the mood better. As we arrived at the club, I found a spot but the car in park and we all got out, I locked the doors shoving the keys and my hands into my jean pockets and walked my way into the club. Walking into the doors I could hear the music and knew there was about to be a lot of people here tonight.

All three of us made our way to the bar and ordered our drinks. As soon as Brian and Zacky got their jack and coke they were gone. I just sat at the bar sipping on my drinking. I just sat and listened to everything going on around me when this very beautiful blonde walked up to the bar an ordered a crown apple and Dr. Pepper.

"Interesting choice of drink." I say.
"Thanks." she said as she turned my way and looked at me. I couldn't breathe, she had the prettiest blue eyes I've ever seen. She was stunning even with her jaw dropped open a little bit.
"What's your choice of drink." she said.
"Jack and coke." I replied watching as she ordered me another one.
"Thanks" I said "But you didn't have to do that."
"You're welcome and I know but I wanted to." she said as she walked away from me. All I could do was stare as she did. She was the first girl to come in here and actually buy me a drink instead of me buying her a drink, plus she was beautiful. She didn't stick around like groupie either.


I sat there for a few more moments gathering up the courage to go find her and talk with her. I ordered the drink she asked for earlier and set out to find her. When I found her at a table she had her back turned to me and was looking into the crowd of people on the dance floor. her gorgeous long blonde hair was hanging down her back. My feet was carrying me over to her a little too fast.

When she left a presence beside her, she looked up at me.
"Since you bought me a drink I saw yours and thought I should repay you." I say as I take the open seat next to her.
She had this look on her face that made her look even more cute.
"Well thank you kind sir." she said.
"I'm surprised you walked away" I chuckled. "I saw the way your mouth dropped when you saw me."
"Yeah I'm surprised I did too" she says "I'm curious out of all the clubs in Huntington why come to this one?"
"Well Zacky and Brian like this one so I kinda had no choice." I say.
I could tell the wheels in her head was turning then she said, "Zacky and Brian are here with you?!"
"Yup" I said as I took a drink.

She was quite for a few minutes and all I could do was stare at her features on her beautiful face, when she saw me staring she looked up at me blushing and said, "What?"
"Nothing" I say giving her my dimple smile. "I think I just got lucky to be looking at such a beautiful woman like you."
I had her blushing again, then she says, "Yeah but you got a girlfriend."
My stomach turned and I knew I had a pained expression on my face from the way she was looking at me.
"No I don't" I said as I take a long swig of my drink then called for another one.
"Oh" she said. "I didn't mean to bring it up"
"Don't worry about it" I said looking in the other direction.

I was just looking into the crowd not paying attention when I hear a "Oh no." I snapped my head up in the direction this girl was looking and saw Zacky with some girl attached to his side then I groaned saying "Oh no" to. Zacky had this stupid looking grin on his face.
"There you are Matt I've been looking for you." he says.
"Yeah and I've been looking for you." says the blonde whose name I didn't catch to the brunette.
Hearing how the brunette bumped into Zacky on her way to the bar and how he smoothed talked her could only make me shake my head and ask, "so what do you want Zacky?"
"Nothing man, just wanted to check on you, you're kinda our ride home tonight." he said.
"Yeah I know, I haven't forgot about you two dumbasses." I said with a sigh.
Then I heard, "It's ok, I'm her ride home." as the blonde pointed to the brunette who was engrossed into a conversation with Zacky as they were walking away. We both just watched them disappear into the crowd.

Turning back to me the blonde asks, "So what's it like being a rock star in a club?"
"It's not what you'd think it is." I said as I took another drink.
"Oh really?" she asked with her eyebrows raised.
"Yeah there is a lot more to it. yeah you may get treated like royalty but after a while it just gets old and annoying." I say.

We talked for a bit more about things when I asked, "So what is your dream?"
She looked at me, then back down at her drink then back to me again before saying " Well I wanna be a guitar tech. I've always loved playing so I decided I want to be a band tech."
I raised my eyebrows at her because I did not except that to come from her and said " But guitar tech is a boring job."

She sighed and started explaining to me how her brother taught her everything she knew about guitars and how happy it made her, she also explained how it helped her brother through their parents divorce, and how it helped her when she was having nightmares he would come into her room with a guitar and play her a lullaby to help her fall asleep.
She looked at me and gave me a small smile.
"Since he died overseas serving our country it's been hard but he told me to follow my dreams." she said as she wiped some tears away, placing her hands on the table not looking at me.
"I'm so sorry for your loss, I can't imagine your pain." I say as I put my hands in hers.
She nods. "Yeah it is hard sometimes."
I decided to changed the subject because seeing her cry hurt. We couldn't even stay on the same topic we switched from one to another. We talked about anything and everything, I was happy we were open with each other but I didn't bring her brother back up.

She signaled for her friend and all I could do was stare at her. She was being so strong through everything. She gave me a smile when she turned back around, then I gave Zacky the signal to go find Brian because I knew Haner would be somewhere making out with a chick.
Looking back at the blonde, she was looking through her purse and grabbed a pen and paper and started writing somethings down. After she was finished she handed me one of the pieces and said "Here is my number. I had a great time sitting her talking to you and if you're ever bored or lonely don't be afraid to call me or text me."
"Thanks!" I said giving her a dimple smile and looking down at the paper I finally figured out her name. Auden. It fit her so well because they both were beautiful .

Everyone was back at the table when Zacky got the brunette's number who name I found out was Aimee. Brian got some random chicks number, me knowing he was never gonna hit her up. Everyone grabbed there belongings and walked outside. Arriving to my car I unlocked it and Brian climbed in, Zacky was saying goodbye to Aimee, and I was watching Auden find her key to her truck that was parked right next to my car, after she unlocked it and started it she shut the door an came over to me to say goodbye. When she got back into the truck, I headed for the driver door of my car when Aimee stopped me and said,
"I know you made her super happy tonight, I haven't seen her have a smile on her face like she did tonight since her brother was around."
That made me smile big. Climbing into the car I couldn't stop smiling.

When we all got back to my house I cleaned up the living room so the guys could stay, they were too tired to drive home. After saying our goodnights I went into my room and shut my door, smiling I knew I had to text Auden the next day because I wanted to take her out to dinner. As I laid down all I could hear was Aimee's words echoing in my head, when I closed my eyes I was out like a light.

Sorry it took me a while to update, work was hell today.

And I've figured out it is hard to type with a band aid on one of my typing fingers! xD
