Matt's POV
Proposing to Auden was the greatest thing ever, I did it right in front of all our friends in her home state. She looked gorgeous, when I saw her standing over on the side of the stage I couldn't breathe. She made me realize again that she was everything I needed, her heart was big, she made life even better. After I asked her to marry me, she ran into Valary. I had to stop Auden from killing her. I knew I had to tell Larry to get a restraining order on her. We went to the after party having a great time. Everyone congratulated us and wish us a good life. I already knew it was going to be a great life. When we went on a walk near the Ohio River seeing her standing there made my heart swell up, she was the most amazing person ever.
"You know this is making me miss California. But also makes me miss home." She said looking out in the water.
"I can totally see where you're coming from. I can't wait to be home again, these other 2 months need to hurry up." I said. When we get back from tour I know she will planning a wedding, I couldn't be more excited. Yes I know I am a guy but who can't be excited for a wedding?
"Where are we going next?" she asked.
"Philly, we will be getting a hotel room there so we can actually sleep in a bed." I smiled.
"That's good, I can't fucking wait." she sighed. I knew both of us craved a real bed, plus we haven't slept the greatest.
We were talking about a lot of different things, like her father and my parents, the guys, Aimee. I didn't even know it was getting late until I got a call from Brian, which surprised me, he usually was trashed with everyone else or had a girl in his bunk.
"Dude where are you it's 3 in the morning. Are you ok? We will be leaving the venue soon. You gotta get back here like now. " he said
"Yeah we will be back soon, yes we are ok. Chill out we will be back soon Gates" I said then hung up the phone.
"Time to go baby, we gotta get back to the bus, we leave soon anyways."
"Ok, let's go." she said getting up, I held out my hand to help her to her feet. We were walking back and I didn't even notice she stopped walking next to me until I heard "Matt" I froze right where I was, I knew something was coming next. Next thing I knew she jumped on my back and had her legs wrapped around my waist.
"You're so fucking beautiful" I said.
"You've told me" she said kissing my neck. I was so grateful for Zack and Brian dragging me to the bar that night, I was glad Valary and I broke up because if we didn't I wouldn't have never met this wonderful human being. She is the light to my darkness, I craved her touch.
When we got back to the bus Zack and Aimee were missing, clearly they clearly had other plans for the night. Jimmy and Johnny were passed out drunk on the floor cuddling each other. I pulled out my phone and took a picture of them. Brian was just sitting on the couch nursing a beer.
"Sup Gates?" I said
"Nothing, hey Auden." he said looking at us
"Hey Brian." she said
"Babe why don't you go change into something more comfy, I will be there soon then we can come back here and watch a movie." I said kissing her temple.
"Ok Matt" she disappeared into our room.
"Brian are you really ok?" I asked
"Yeah man just a lot of shit on my mind." he said taking a swig of his beer
"Like what?" I pressed
"I don't want to talk about it" he said.
"Brian we are brothers you can come to me with anything man, what is wrong?" I asked again
"I don't want to fucking talk about it" he hissed standing up and going to his bunk.
"Well when you do want to talk about it, I am here." I said going towards the back room to changed.
Once Auden and I were changed, we went back to the main area, laid down on the couch. She laid on top of me looking at the movies on the screen, the bus roared to life.
"What movie do you wanna watch?" I asked
"I'm feeling Shrek." she giggled.
"Alright Shrek it is." I said putting on the movie. We got settled into watching the movie, she was even reciting the lines.
"'Cause I'm all alone, There's no one here beside me, My problems have all gone, There's
no one to deride me, But you gotta have faith..." she sang. I laughed at her. The scene went on for a few before she even recited anything again.
"This is gonna be fun! We can stay up late, swappin' manly stories, and in the mornin' I'm makin' waffles." She said giggling against my chest.
"You really love this movie don't you?" I asked looking down at her smiling.
"Yeah it was my favorite movie when I was little, every morning I would wake up and tell my mom to start it, it was my favorite thing to do." she said with a frown.
"What happened to that?" I asked. I was curious because she never talked about her mom.
"Well you see when I was about 5 and Dylan was about 7 our parents divorced. My mom was cheating on my dad, she was after sex and drugs. When she left we never saw her again. She never stopped in to say hi or to see how we were. When I was younger I so wanted them to get back together because you know I wanted to have a happy family but when I was older and found out the real reason she left I didn't want anything to do with her, still don't. She walked out on us and I will never be able to forgive her for that." she said
"Damn babe, I'm sorry I didn't know." I said running my fingers through her hair.
"It's fine, I just don't like talking about the subject because usually talking about it I get mad. Ask Aimee. Some guy tried to ask about it the first date and that was the last time he heard from me." She smile.
"Well why aren't you mad now?" I asked
"Because I'm laying in your arms. Your touch calms me down so much. Like I said earlier I have a bad temper but when I'm around you, you make me calm." she said.
"Seriously?" I said
"Yup" she yawned
"Wanna go to bed?" I asked
"No I don't want to move I'm comfy right here, I don't like to be moved when I am comfy" she said getting more sleepy.
"Alright babe, we will stay right here. Go to sleep princess. I love you." I said kissing the top of her head. The last thing I heard from her was a very light, "I love you too Matty" before her breathes evened out. Damn did she have me wrapped around her finger.

So my laptop broke recently, I'm using my grandparents and then yesterday my phone decided to drop on carpeted floor and break. Yet I've dropped it on tiled floor and it didn't break. I'm so confused with iphones lol.

I'm not dropping Cold Little Heart, I have the next 3 chapters written, just not sure when I'll post them. I apologize if I came across harsh. Everyone was coming at me hard and the story has only just started. I was getting blamed for a lot of stuff and I still don't understand why. And a person can only take so much at a time, and if everyone knew exactly how much Jimmy did mean to mean they would understand I'm very sensitive when it comes to him. But that's not something for a comment. Still love you too. <3
