Matt’s POV

Auden was clearly having a hard time with her hormones. Baby Sanders was not making it easy on his mom or me. I have found Auden in a horrible mood this morning for no reason.
“Hi baby” I said walking towards her.
“Don’t think about touching me Sanders” she said.
“Woah what did I do now?” I asked
“Nothing just don’t fucking touch me” she grumbled.
“With that said I will call one of the boys” I said pulling out my phone and dialing Zack.
“Yo man what’s up?” I asked
“Not shit man, laying around” he said through the phone
“Is it cool if I come hang?” I said
“Yeah dude see you soon.” He said hanging up.
“Alright babe I’m leaving. I will be at Zack’s I will gladly send Aimee over. Love you!” I said blowing her a kiss then walking out the door.
“Love you too asshole” she yelled.
When I showed up at Zack’s Aimee was walking out the door. I looked at her with sad eyes, she gave me a apologetic look.
“Sup dude?” Zack asked from the couch.
“Auden’s hormones are crazy” I said plopping down in a chair.
“Welcome to having a baby dude, you’re gonna have to get used to it” Zack said
“I know I will but like I’m so new dude.” I said sighed
“True it will take some time” He said
“Yeah. What do you want to do?” I asked
“I don’t know man” He said
“How about we round up the boys and do something” I said
“Fine by me, let me go get dressed” he said getting up and walking to his room. I shot texts to Brian, Jimmy and Johnny to meet us at Johnny’s Bar.
When Zack and I pulled up to the bar, the guys walked over to us.
“What’s the special occasion?” Johnny asked
“Home troubles” Zack said
“Auden’s hormones crazy again?” Brian asked
“Yeah, I’m here to just drink but not get drunk.” I said
“Yeah ok, keep telling yourself that Sanders” Jimmy said slapping my shoulders. “Let’s go”
Brian was glaring at me as we walked in. I knew what he was thinking. I didn’t want to do this but I was freaking out.
“I’ll get the drinks” Johnny said walking towards the bar.
The rest of us sat down at a table, all the guys looked at me/
“What?” I said
“Don’t go crazy Matt, I don’t think Auden would appreciate one of us bringing you home trashed” Brian said
“Whatever man” I huffed.
As soon as Johnny came back with drinks I grabbed one and chugged it.
“Alright boys let’s have a good night” I smiled
“HELL YEAH!” Jimmy yelled.
I got more drinks for everyone, it didn’t take me long to get trashed.
“Bri” I slurred
“What Matt” he said
“Why haven’t you drank as much as me” I smiled
“Because I’m being a good friend to your soon to be wife” he spat
“My soon to be wife, ah I love her” i said
“If you loved her you would be there to help her with her hormones dick” he said
“I love her so much” I slurred. My eyes trailed off to a brunette sitting at the bar.
“Speaking of soon to be wife, she is sitting at the bar” I slurred and got up stumbling my way over there.
“Hello beautiful wife to be” I said to the girl
“Excuse me” she said
“You’re my wife to be, so beautiful” I smiled
“Umm no. I think you got me mixed up with someone” she said
“Nope you’re definitely Auden” I said leaning
“Time to go buddy” Brian said snatching me up, dragging me out of the bar
“But that’s Auden!!!” I said
“No that was not. Auden is at home tending to Matt Jr.” Brian said
“That was Auden!” I said
“NO! She was not Auden! Auden is at home where you should be” Brian spat.
I stumbled back and looked at Brian with wide eyes.
“Sinking in now isn’t it?” He said
“Fuck. I need to get home. Take me home” I said
“Ok dude. I will take you home” he said fishing out his car keys.
We got into his BMW and started our way to my house. All I could think about is how much I fucked up. I left Auden alone today, just with the support of Aimee. That wasn’t fair for her. I was a shitty father and soon to be husband. All I wanted was to crawl into with my Auden and sleep the night away. When we pulled up to the house, all the lights were off and Aimee’s car wasn’t there.
“Thanks man, I owe you” I said
“No you owe Auden. You can’t keep doing this. She needs you dude” Brian said
“You’re right. I’m so horrible.” I said
“No you’re just new. Now go to bed” Brian said
“I will thanks again man” I said getting out of his car.
When I got inside, I took off my shoes and made my way to our room. When I got inside I saw Auden sleeping soundly. Instead of crawling in next to her smelling of booze, I took a shower then go into bed. I kissed her head
“I love you so much, I’m so sorry” I said laying next to her, slowly falling asleep.
