You Will Always Be My Heart

Zacky's POV:

I couldn't say the last time I had showered. There wasn't a clue in my mind about when I had last seen sunlight.

My only focus was drowning the pain. The perfect avenue was my beloved Jack Daniel's. He knew just the right way to make everything feel better if only for a moment.

Brian's POV:

My time was spent jamming out. My fingers were practically bloody from playing so much. I didn't care.

Any second I wasn't playing I was over at Barbara's house helping her go through Jimmy's things.

There was one box she would never let me touch. I never questioned why.

Matt's POV:

I still expected to get a call from Jimmy saying he'd finished another song out he had this new beat blazing through his head. I knew that wasn't going to happen. I could still hope.

My time was spent writing. I had always been a perfectionist when it came to lyrics. The house was covered in papers with scratches and scribbles. Not many of the material was actually usable. Silence filled the house when I wasn't trying to work on something.

One day I couldn't take the quiet any longer. Grabbing the phone I call Brian, Zacky and Johnny telling them to get over to my house.

Johnny's POV:

Matt called saying he wanted everyone over at his house. I showered then got dressed. Climbing into my car I make my way to Matt's house.

I end up being the first one there. Matt pulls me into his arms. The hug is a quick one. Not long after I arrive Brian then Zack show up.

Zacky's POV:

I lost count of how many times grapes in the mouth was sung. Every one recalls the time he chased his stallion duck. Not one of us dared correct him about it actually being a goose.

We all laughed when Brian talked about how Jimmy used to pick Johnny up and try to give me a back breaker.

Before any of us know it the first rays of sun are shining through Matt's living room windows where we'd all decided to camp out.

The rest of week and into the next one are spent the same way. Each one of us recalling our favorite memories of Jimmy.
