Big Not So Bad Wolf

Allie's POV:

I'll see you at seven. Make sure to dress formally. -Elijah

I had gone out and bought a dress just for tonight. I hoped that Elijah liked it. It had taken hours to find the perfect dress but I didn't give up.

Jumping into the shower I make sure my legs are smooth as silk. My hair gets a shining treatment that will give it that extra healthy glow. I scrub the rest of my body ensuring it's at maximum softness.

Once I'm out of the shower I rub myself down with Burt's Bees Milk and Honey lotion. It leaves me smelling great. I pull out my straightener.

The second the little light glows green I put it to work. It lies pin straight. With the help of hair putty my hair will be straight all night.

Next I have to do my make-up. My eyes come exactly how I want them. I debate about whether to do a striking lip or a neutral one. After putting a few test swipes on my arm I find the most divine shade of nude with a peach tint it will go great with my dress.

I grab my Kama Sutra brand honey dust. In the flavor Raspberry Kiss. A giggle escapes as I ghost the feather duster across my skin. I smile to myself knowing it's an absolutely wonderful finishing touch.

Butterflies had taken up residence in my stomach. I swore that I could fill an entire gallon with how much my hands were seating. I was super nervous.

Cocoa and Molly start growling at the door. I shrug it off assuming they don't want me to leave. A second later the doorbell rings.

"Just a minute." I holler putting the girls in the other room just to be sure.

Racing back to the door I take a second to compose myself. The door opens and there Elijah is. I smile widely.

"You look lovely." He says kissing my cheek.

"Thank you. You look very handsome." I comment.

Holding out his arm he asks if I'm ready to go. I grab my little clutch. After locking the door and putting the keys in my bag I give him the affirmative.

He's so sweet he even opens the car door for me. I make sure my dress is all in. He double checks then shuts my door.

The walk around the car was quick. He gets in, shuts his door then starts it up. He turns to make sure we're all clear to back out of my driveway.

On the way to where we're going we make small talk. He asks me about my job, where I grew up and my hobbies. The answers rapidly fly out of my mouth.

I ask him the same things. All I get back are more questions about me. Some people just don't like talking about themselves.

The question of what we're doing comes up. Elijah tells me we're going to dinner. He doesn't elaborate more than that.
