Big Not So Bad Wolf

Cheyenne's POV:

Finally after two months of waiting my babies were ready to be born. That's only one of the reasons I'm glad the gestational period for werewolves is drastically shorter than that of a human female. Another one is that wolves don't usually get morning sickness.

Declan is on my right side. He allows me to cripple his hand as I push. Zacky is on my left. He's actually squeezing my hands harder than I'm holding his.

My eyes fall to Declan. His calmness tells me he's done this before. Theorion tells me to push big one more time.

He helps my pup into the world. I hold my breath as silence fills the empty air. A tear slides down my cheek. I couldn't go through this again.

A shrill cry rings out. All at once my body relaxes. Theorion passes my child to me informing it's a boy.

"Hello Joseph welcome to the world." I only have but a moment with him before I have to push again.

Turning to Zacky I hand him my precious son. I graze Joseph's cheek. My hand comes to rest on top of Declan's.

Soon three more cries sound out. They come from my beautiful daughters Violetta, Lunna and Zylla.

Allie's POV:

I think I've finally figured it out. The reason I couldn't connect my thoughts with Zacky's is because the bitch was dosing my food with wolfsbane. I don't know why I didn't think of it before.

But now it all made sense. If I'm drugged I can focus enough to connect with my mate. Not eating isn't an option either.

I'm powerless to do anything but wait.
