Big Not So Bad Wolf

Zacky's POV:

Declan comes barreling into the kitchen. I've never seem him look so frantic. He explains that Cheyenne's water broke. Theorion goes to follow him

"She wants you to come too." Declan says.

I point to myself asking if he means me. He nods his head yes. I follow the pair of men to the library.

Declan walks right over taking her hand in his. Looks like the mental note I made myself can be scraped. Theorion goes over to examine Cheyenne.

I'm left to wonder why she'd want me here. I turn to leave. Cheyenne's voice calls out.

She says that she wanted it to be Allie here with her but since she's not able to be I'm the next best choice. When I don't answer she questions if I was lying when I told her anything she needed I'd be happy to help. Knowing I can't argue with that I turn back around and make my way over to her.

I take her other hand in mine she gives me a smile. While this is a joyous time for her I manage a small one in return. All I can picture is Allie's face.

I know she would have loved being in my place right now. She'd be encouraging Cheyenne to aid her pups into entering this world. I shake off the thought since she can't be here to help Cheyenne I'll just have to do myself.
