Big Not So Bad Wolf

Allie's POV:

I awake to hand caressing the skin of my hip. For a moment I believe it's Zacky. Then I remember where I am and it dawns on me someone is trying to attack me.

I scream at the top of my lungs. A hand shoots out covering my mouth. The door to the room flies open.

I can clearly see Evey. She comes over grabbing my would be attacker. Her hands twist his head.

The sound of his neck breaking fills the room. Both of us know he isn't dead. Evey grabs his arm dragging him from the room.

As she closes the door behind her I can't help but wonder why she would save me from being raped.

Zacky's POV:

Finally with a few free minutes to myself I make my way to Declan's room. Raising my hand I knock on his door. He calls a "come in."

I open the door. Walking into the room I close the door behind me. Declan invites me to sit in his desk chair.

He seems to be debating about something. With a shake of his head what ever it is he's made a decision.

"It's very important that we find Allie in a timely fashion." Declan says.

I'm confused by his comment. We all want Allie home. What does it being timely have to do with anything?

"What do you mean?" I ask him.

A sigh escapes his mouth. The serious look on his face tells me he wants to elaborate. But instead of speaking up he remains silent.

"Declan I don't understand what you mean." I push hoping to gain an answer.

Declan shakes his head. "I'm sorry but I can't explain more than. I made a promise. Plus it's not something you'd want to hear from me."

I groan frustrated that he won't speak up but there's nothing I can do. I thank him for the little information he gave me then I take my leave.
