Seventeen and Pregnant

ZACKYS POV

Okay okay. This is it. Today Weds, is in labor. I can’t wait to see my baby…

I must admit. I am freaking out right now. I am scared as hell of becoming a father.

I have no clue how Jimmy and Lexi did this so young, well Lexi more then Jimmy.

The doctors asked me to wait outside while they got Wednesday ready for delivery. She asked Lexi to be here since we are making her the God Mother. So Lexi is in there with her, I just don’t trust the doctors.

“Mr. Baker…Were ready for you now. The baby is coming fast.” She smiles and I follow her into the room. I must say I look ridiculous in the scrubs that they made me put on.

“Oh Zacky, god it hurts so bad!!” She reaches for my hand. I take her hand and kiss her head.

“Your doing great baby.” I rub her hand and she glares at me. Lexi giggles.

“Okay Ma’am, were ready for you to push.”

She leans up and Lexi puts her arm behind her back to keep her up as she pushes down as hard as she can, her face is turning so red from pushing.

She takes a deep breath and falls back on the bed, the doctor encourages her to push again this time harder to get the babies shoulders out.

She does what the doctor asks and pushes even harder, Lexi gives her encouraging words, and Weds pushes even harder, the baby comes flying out… (Literally)

Weds falls back on the bed crying when she sees our son, and Lexi smiles at her telling her what a great job she did, the doctor hands me the scissors and tells me where to cut the umbilical cord. Once I cut it, they clip it off and hand him to the nurse where she weighs him and cleans him up.

“Would you like to hold your son Mr. Baker?”

“I would love too.” I gently take him from the nurse and hold him close to me. He is so cute. I love his button nose.

“He’s beautiful you two. I am so happy for you. I am going to go tell the others that he is here, and I will come back when your in your new room.” She kisses weds forehead and then comes over hugging me and kissing my cheek.

Phe runs to me when I come out of the room. I lift her up and kiss her cheek.

“It’s a boy!” I say to everyone as they cheer.

“He has a set of lungs so Matt, I do believe when he’s older you will have some competition.” He chuckles.

“I will always be the master. I have 24 years over him.” I laugh with him and hug jimmy.

“Makes me want another baby Jim Jam.” He chokes on his water. I giggle.

“Kidding, I want to get married first.” He smiles, after he finishes coughing.

“I was gonna say. But as long as your having my babies, I will give you as many as your willing to push out.” He chuckles and the others laugh.

Wedding planning is exhausting. The guys are on a mini tour promoting their first album. I have temporally moved in to Weds and Zackys place. To help Weds take care of Logan. He really is a cutie pie. Phe has been such a big help aswell she always helps Weds get a bottle ready or grabs some diapers for her.

I sigh as I look at the costs of wedding venues.

“What’s wrong girlie?”

“Oh, I just don’t know how we’re going to afford getting married. I wish my mom and dad were talking to me so they could help with the wedding, and Jimmy’s parent’s suddenly hate me, so they really want nothing to do with the wedding. I feel that life is so unfair.”

She half smiles at me and sits down.

“I don’t want what I am going to say to cause us to fight again, because I would hate to not have you around again for another 3 years.” I half smile at her.

“I understand where Jimmy’s parents are coming from when they wanted him to wait. They just want to make sure that you two are really sure that this is something you both want. And I know it is. But I just understand their feelings on this.” I nod.

“And as far as your parents, well it’s their fault and maybe they will come around.”

“Yea. I understand their reasoning too. I just can’t help but feel horrible that his own parents don’t like me anymore.”

“That’s not true Lex, they really do like you. They just are upset. They will come around. Now what is it that you’re looking at?”

“I am looking at Venues to have the reception at. That is going to cost us the most. I decided that we can just get married on the beach under the stars…I’d rather get married at sunset…” I smile.

“Well all of us will help you two with your wedding because we know that you would help us if we ever needed it.”

“I know but I don’t want it to come to that.” I smile and look at Phe when she comes into the kitchen.

“Mommy I miss daddy, when he coming home?”

“Awe. He misses you too. He won’t be home for another month.”

“Whhhyyyy?” She whines. God what a bratty child I have. But I love her.

“Because he is working and making money so we can afford our house, and clothes on our bodies and food for our bellies.”

“Oh..” She climbs of my lap and goes back to the living room.

I just smile at Wednesday.
