Dont Pray For Me

GRETCHEN POV

The rest of the night was more relaxed as everyone talked about the plan a little bit more. I called Lyric and told her to make sure she has no more appointments tomorrow so she could squeeze so time in or me and a couple friends.

I went to sleep next to Brian and in the morning the alarm went off and I jumped out of bed and scrambled to get ready to meet my best friend, who I havent seen in foreverrrr. We took 2 cars to the shop and when I got out of the car I led the way, lacing my fingers in Brians.

I walked in and dragged Johnny next to me, when I cleared my throat she turned around in her chair, her jaw automatically dropping to the floor.
I gave her a hug before I dragged Johnny in front of me, he was shy and awkward as hell when he took her hand in his and kissed her knuckles.

JOHNNY POV

I stood there staring at this beautiful short woman. Her long burgundy hair was flowing and I looked into those piercing blue eyes as I brought her hand up to my lips. I could see her tattoos and she bit at her lip ring slightly, a blush adorned her face as I looked her up and down taking in her height, as well as her nose ring.

After meeting her I watched her meet and joke around with the rest of the group, she knows how to joke with people, thats a major turn on for me. I decided to get a tiny tattoo to get to know her a little better and after we decided to go out to get some lunch and relax on the beach.

When we told her about the favor we needed from her she really didnt hesitate or ask questions, "She is definitely a badass" I said, although I thought I said it in my head, guess not.

She turned to me and smiled at me before replying "I can get just as down and dirty as the rest of you can" making me whistle out to her.

"Damn Johnnys got some game" Jimmy laughed making me look towards Lyric again to catch her smiling. "Thats right buddy, soon you're the only one who is going to be single" I laughed.

"Maybe not, I also have a very beautiful sister" Gretchen winked towards Jimmy.

The rest of the night all of us got acquainted as a group and all of of were getting along. We all cuddled up on the big square couches as we watched a movie, I asked Lyric to stay since she kissed me earlier at the beach. We all fell asleep in awkward positions on the couch, and as the night went on everyone eventually went to their own rooms.

I carried Lyric to my bed and gently set her down before getting in and covering us with a blanket. It felt good to be next to warmth for once, I thought as I drifted to sleep.

LYRIC POV

This night was the best night of my life! I met the guy ive had a crush on since I heard him play bass, so when the opportunity came up at the beach I walked up to him and smashed my lips against his.

The group all cheered and whistled our way, so I sat on the sand and pulled him next to me, we sat there quietly and watched the waves as they played beautifully in the setting sun.

My heart started to pound when Johnny put his arm around me and pulled me closer to him, "You are absolutely stunning Lyric, do you know that?" he said making me smile from ear to ear.

"Jesus, Christ, you just know the perfect thing to say to a woman dont you?" I teased before lacing my fingers in his, he looked down at me and pulled my chin up to him, our lips met in a slow and sensual kiss.

The rest of the night was amazing, all I remember was cuddling on the couch before falling asleep with Johnny.

MATT POV

The past week went by quickly as much as we didnt want it to. I woke up each morning and worked out as Rae slept silently. I would also go jogging with Lyric and Gretchen to make sure there was no chance in us getting winded easily. All of us besides Brian and Nix took defense lessons and worked out.

Brian wasnt cleared yet and we didnt want to put any extra strain or stress on Nix than there already was. We cant have that little Avenged baby being stressed out or getting hurt can we.

Jimmy, Johnny, Zacky and I got to the cemetery early and hid where we couldnt be seen. We still had a couple more hours until it opened so I put on some headphones and cracked open an energy drink.

Once the gates opened I put the earpiece in my ear and checked to see if the rest were in place. They all agreed and were ready to move in any minute. Brian and Nix were in the building next door on the roof where no one could see them. They were ready.

Rae walked in with her hair down, a black hat and sunglasses on her face. She had on a long sleeved shirt and pants so no one could tell it was her. She whispered and we all picked it up through earpieces, check.

Johnny was scanning the security cameras in the whole area making sure they were all down for the next couple of hours before he checked in.

Jimmy was ready with his guns and knives just in case things went badly.

We got the girls and sent them in, glad these girls knew exactly where to go or our cover might be blown. The girls got the wigs on them earlier and dressed them up to look like exact replicas of Nix and Rae. When they got to where they needed to be the both took a knee and waited.

Got em in sight at the front gate Nix said.

got em, the rest of us responded as we watched several men hop out and take off towards the woods we were in.

Mason made his way towards the girls as we prepared to take the rest of the guys out. They were walking straight into the trap. I crawled my way over to where one of the men was before he turned around to check out the area. I grabbed his mouth with a rag covered in chloroform until he passed out before I tied him up and duct taped his mouth. I was then knocked over by another guy.

He already signaled that it was a trap and Mason tried to run towards the vehicle, just then Nix shot him in the chest.

Jimmy and Johnny both already were killing men left and right before they wiped their blades and took the wallets from the men.

I grabbed my blade and slid it in the man who was running at me before I kicked his knee in. I stabbed him in the neck and moved onto the next guy, he already sliced my bicep when I drove my knife deep into chest over and over again.

Mason was writhing in pain as he reached for a gun, but Lyric kicked it out of his hand and Gretchen tucked it into her jeans. Rae was asking Mason why but all he could do was moan and groan. He spat some blood and said "Were not family" before a bullet flew into his head.

His body went limp and the girls collected the bullets, handing them to Rae before taking off.

Thank God this ones over.

Whats in his hand? Nixs voice echoed and Rae reached down and collected the contents before running into the woods as Brian and Nix climbed down the ladder on the side of the building to meet up with Gretchen and Lyric. We got into the truck and made our way back through the woods when Rae started crying hysterically.

I guess she forgot to turn her mic off because all of us heard the cries and Nix came back through the earpiece. Babydoll, whats wrong, hes dead. He cant hurt us anymore she said, trying to get Rae to calm down.

He had our parents wedding rings in his hand she replied. I know Nix heard it because you could hear the engine roar in the background as she hauled ass back to the house.

Once we got back to the house Rae immediately took a handful of pills and swallowed them with a huge swig of vodka.

"Woah babe! that was way too much to take at one time" I yelled at her, I didnt mean to come off that way but theres no way I want something bad happening to her.

"Get the fuck out of this room and make my sister come hold me" she demanded and thats when I started to back off. She didnt want me to comfort her, she wants Phoenix, so I walked out of the room in defeat until I found Fee in her room sitting on the bed tears running down her face. I knocked and she didnt reply so I went in and sat next to her.

"Are you ok Phoenix?" I asked looking at the picture she clutched in her hands, "Are those your parents?" I asked and she finally looked up at me with those awesome eyes which now looked so sad.

"Ill be ok once I see Raevyn, and yea they are" she said as she began to get up from he bed.

"You know they would be really proud of you two right?" I asked as she turned to me one last time. "Well with the mercenary thing aside they would" I said as I flashed a cheesy grin that made her smile.

"Thanks Matt" she said as she walked away.

I got up and walked behind her, "For what?" I asked

"For being there for my sister and myself. You're really important to both of us you know" she said and I took that as the chance to scoop her up and hug her tightly as I whispered "You're family now Phoenix, I will always protect you and your sister."

I went back down to the basement and grabbed a cigarette with the guys and two girls as they talked about how todays event played out. I was passed a beer and I sat back against a chair thinking about the girls, the killings, and the rings Mason had.

"So after the rest are dead I wanna go back to music" I piped up, getting everyone to turn towards me.

"Fuck yes!" Gretchen and Lyric screamed in unison while holding hands.

One target down. Jack and Larry are left, and guess who is getting a girlfriend soon! well its pretty obvious right now that Jimmy is the only one left. ahaha
