Wedlocked

Jimmy's Pov
"We've been going out for four years now. At first, we started out as being friends and then dated. All this time I loved you with all my heart and I still do. It's a little hard to stay without you sometimes, that's why I have an idea. Michelle Louise DiBenedetto, will you do the honor and endure me for the rest of your life?" Brian said to me kneeling down on a knee. "Bri, of course I will! I love you!" I faked a girly voice and pounced on my best friend.

"Dude, get off me! I'm trying to practice my speech here and you're just not helping!" Brian said pushing me off him. "I am helping you! You told me to act like Chelle, so I did. I think she would also jump on you the way I did after hearing your speech!" I said excitedly. "You think so?" Brian asked and I nodded my head. "So, should we go to Vegas?" I asked Brian and he looked at me. "What for?" he asked. "Your bachelor party, dude." I said, wiggling my eyebrows. "Vegas sounds awesome." Brian said running a hand through his hair.

"Vegas, we're coming baby!" I screamed and Brian laughed loudly. "Whoa, Bri." I said as I felt a vibration on my body. "What?" he asked, looking at me. "Yeah, my crotch is vibrating. Do something!" I said panicking. "What are you saying, Jimmy?" Brian asked looking at my shaking form. "Yeah, it's still shaking!" I looked at my friend with big eyes. "It's your phone, dude." Brian said nonchalantly and I checked my pocket. "Oh, my phone." I said and took the call. "We're going to Vegas!!" I screamed as soon as I picked up the phone and Brian chuckled.

"Jimmy, why the fuck are you screaming?!!" Matt's voice boomed through the phone and I held it away from my ears. "Matt, why the fuck are you screaming now?!!" I screamed back and Brian just laughed. "Was that Brian?" Matt asked. "Yep, what's up?" I asked. " I gotta tell you something about Chelle."Matt said. "Brian, Matt wants to tell me something about Chelle. You interested?" I asked Brian and heard Matt scream on the other side of the phone. "Sure." Brian said and I put the phone on speaker. "Matt, I put the phone on speaker. Now Brian can her us too!" I said. "Jimmy!" Matt screamed again and hung up.

"What's up with him?" Brian asked chuckling. "I think he got ants in his pants." I said, making Brian laugh harder. A minute later Brian got a call from Matt. "Got rid of the ants, Matt?" Brian asked and I gave him a high five. "Sure." Brian said into the phone and excused himself. That instant, Val called me. "Hey Val." I said picking up. "Jimmy, come over. We need to talk." she said. "Is everything okay? You sound tensed." I said in a serious tone. "Just come over, I'll tell you everything." she said. "Uh, okay." I say. "And Jimmy...." she said. "Yeah." I replied. ".....come alone. I mean, don't bring Brian." Val said in a shaky voice.

"Okay, why?" I asked. "Jimmy, please. No questions asked, just come over. And do not tell anything to Brian." Val said and hung up. What was that? I shrugged my shoulders and Brian came in. "Matt still has those ants in his pants. He was mumbling something." he said. "I'll see you later, dude. Gotta go." I lied. "I thought you were free today." he said. "I just remembered, I gotta finish some work." I said. "Alright, I'll see you later then." Brian said and left. Man, I already feel bad for lying to him.

I reached Matt's in ten minutes and rang the bell. "What's wrong?" I asked Matt, who opened the door. "We were waiting for you." he said and we went to the living room. Val was sitting on the couch with her head in her hands. "Hi, Val." I said and she looked at me. "What happened to you?!" I said and scooted near her. Val's face and eyes had turned red and there was smeared eyeliner on her face as well. "Why are you crying? What happened?!" I asked her, but got no answer. "Matt, what happened?!" I asked my friend. He just remained quiet and I looked at Val. "Val, what happened? Tell me." I said lifting her face with my hands.

"Chelle's....." Val spoke as she cried. "Chelle? What happened to her?" I asked. "She's going to...." Val just cried and my heart started beating faster. "Matt, what's Chelle gonna do?" I asked Matt. He crossed his arms and said, "She's leaving." My eyes widened, and Val's cries grew louder. "Val...." Matt said and hugged her. "Where is she going? And why?" I said as I processed the words Matt had said. "She got a job in some fashion line, that's why she's going to Paris." Matt said holding Val and I looked at her. "Val, you're crying because of that? You should be happy!" I said, earning death glares from the couple.

"She planning to end things with Brian!" Val snapped. "What the fuck are you saying?!" I said getting annoyed. "Chelle herself said this job is more important to her than....." Matt trailed off. "Bri?" I said shocked and Matt nodded his head. "There must be some confusion, Chelle must be messing with us." I said. "She already packed her stuff and she's leaving next Monday." Val said sniffing.

"Monday? But Brian's proposing her this Sunday! How can she leave?!" I said. "I told her about Brian. I thought this news might change her mind, but it didn't. She wants to break up." Val said as tears flowed down her cheeks. "Matt?" I looked at him and he just nodded his head. I stood up and paced down the hall, rubbing my face with my palms. "He was pr-practicing his proposal s-speech with m-me today." I stuttered and Val cried harder.

"We should tell Brian everything." Matt said. "No! That will just break his heart." Val said wiping her face. "Val, if Chelle says no to him on Sunday it'll break his heart even more." Matt said. "Matt's right." I said. "I'll call him and ask him to come here." Matt said and went to call Brian. I texted Johnny and Zacky and they reached here withing 10 minutes. I told them everything and their reactions were similar to mine. "I can't fucking believe it! Michelle?" Zacky said. "How can she do this, man?" Johnny asked me. "Jimmy and Matt thinks we should tell everything to Brian." Val said, finally she had stopped crying. "They're right, Val." Johnny said. "Brian should know everything, before Sunday arrives." Zacky said.

"But what if Bri-" Val got cut off as the doorbell rang. "I'll get it, clean your face." Matt said and went to get the door. "Don't cry, Val. We'll sort out everything." Zacky said as she hugged her knees. "When did you get to know about this?" Johnny asked Val. "Yesterday I went to meet Chelle and she told me everything. And you guys won't believe that-" Val stopped and her eyes grew big. "What's wrong?" Zacky asked and I turned back. Brian was standing with Matt in the hallway. "Brian, what a pleasant surprise!" Johnny exclaimed looking nervously at him. "You," Brian said pointing his index finger at me. I gaped at him in surprise as he spoke, "...you said you gotta finish some work. What are you doing here?" he asked. "I-I....." I stuttered and Brian's eyes fell on Val.

"Val, have you been crying?" Brian asked as he sat down next to her. Val looked at Brian in a way that it seemed she was going to start crying any moment. Oh shit, somebody has to make up a fake story now! Right fucking now! Think, Jimmy!

Valary's Pov
"Val, have you been crying?" Brian asked me with a worried expression. He was patting my back, and he was being so nice that it hurt a lot to think what's gonna happen to him in a few days. "I.....got a cramp in my leg." I lied and looked at Matt. He nodded his head and I saw the others sigh in relief. "Cramp? Did you go to the doctor?" Brian asked and I nodded my head.

"What did he say?" Brian asked, and I looked at Jimmy for help. "She needs bed rest for a few days." Jimmy said quickly. "You'll be fine soon, don't worry." Brian said and kissed my forehead. That's when I let out a low whimper. "Did I hurt you?" Brian asked as he panicked and I shook my head. "It hurts a lot." I said looking away from him. "I think you should take some rest." Brian said and looked at Matt. "Take her inside, man." Zacky said and Matt nodded his head. Matt carried me inside and put me on the bed. "Do something." I said to my husband.

"Don't worry, I'll talk to Chelle soon." Matt said putting his hand on my shoulders. "Also take Jimmy, Zacky and Johnny with you." I said leaning back on the bed. "Matt." We heard Brian's voice and a knock on the door. "Come inside, dude." Matt said and I wiped my face with some tissues.

"I'm going to see Michelle now. Got some tips, how I should act and try to keep the surprise a surprise?" Brian asked Matt as he came inside. "Have you talked to Chelle yet?" I asked and he shook his head. "Not yet." he said looking at me. "Then don't talk to her now." Matt said and Brian looked surprised. "Why?" he asked in confusion. "You heard that thing, 'absence makes the heart grow fonder'?" Matt asked and Brian said yes.

"So, don't you think you shouldn't talk with Chelle or meet her now?" I asked. "Actually, you're right." Brian said after a short pause. "And that way, she won't even doubt your plans for Sunday." Matt said and I looked at Brian. "You're a genius, dude." Brian said and hugged Matt. "Val, I'll see you later." Matt said and I understood he was going to see Michelle now with the others. "Where are you going, leaving Val alone in this state? What if she needs something?" Brian asks Matt. "I need to buy some stuff for her, so...." Matt trailed off.

"Okay, the others and I can stay here then." Brian said and I looked at Matt. The others cannot stay here now! "You see, Zacky is planning a party next week. So he's coming with me to the store to buy some stuff." Matt lied quickly and I looked at him. "You can take Zacky, but Johnny and Jimmy are staying. Right?" Brian asked and I just shut my eyes. "You know that Jimmy...." Matt looked around, trying to find a good excuse. "Jimmy's always running around, and he usually gets into small fights with Johnny. So...." I trailed off. "Yeah, you're right." Brian said letting out a small laugh.

"Let's do one thing. The others can leave, we...." Brian motioned between him and I. ".....can give each other company. What say?" he asked me. "Fabulous idea. Thanks, dude." Matt said and left quickly. I just hope he and the others will change Michelle's mind.

"Hey, Val." Brian said and I looked at him. "That speech I made for Chelle, it's ready. Would you like to hear it?" he asked me like a small kid excited for Christmas. I smiled sadly and nodded my head. He cleared his throat and started his speech. (It's the same speech from the beginning of this chapter, btw!)

"So, how is it?" Brian asked smiling. "It's beautiful." I said genuinely and he hugged me. "You and Matt are helping me so much with this. I don't know how to thank you guys for this." he said pulling away. "We're a family, Bri. You don't have to thank us." I said nervously. "No, no, no. I already have an idea!" he said happily and I started to worry. What idea hit him now? "Chelle and I can name our future children after you and Matt. That sounds good?!" He said smiling brightly.

"What?" I barely made out the word and tears automatically flowed down my cheeks. "Oh my god, Val. Why are you crying now?!" Brian asked and I kept on flooding my bed with tears. He's so nice and innocent, he does not deserve to get hurt by anyone. "Is your leg paining again?" he asked holding my hands in his. I nodded my head quietly and he looked really worried. "Stay here. I'll get you a hot water bag, okay?" he said and I nodded my head again. Brian went downstairs and I wiped my face with my hands.

Aww, Brian's so happy! Do you guys think he's gonna stay happy for the rest of his natural life? Or is he gonna start mourning from next week??
