Wedlocked

Matt's Pov
"Guys, we need to work." I clapped my hands to get the attention of Jimmy, Zacky and Johnny. "We have to work? I thought we were gonna help Brian and Chelle." Johnny said surprised. "That is our work, Johnny." Zacky said smacking the back of Johnny's head. "Ssh, Brian's still upstairs." I said and they put a finger on their lips. "We need to go now." I said and we went out of the house. "Where are we going now?" Johnny asked clueless. "To Michelle's." Zacky and Jimmy said together.

"Dude, what are we gonna say to her?" Zacky asked as he drove the car. "We're gonna make her realize Brian's love for her." Jimmy said and we nodded our heads. "Only one of us has to talk. If we four start talking at the same time, Chelle might kick us out." I said. "Yeah, right. So who's gonna talk?" Johnny asked. "Matt." Jimmy and Zacky said giving me a glance. "Me?" I asked. "Yep, you. You're her bro-in-law, and you can explain things nicely. So there's a better chance that she might listen to you." Jimmy said. "Okay, but you guys will talk to her too." I said and received three 'Sure' from them.

"You guys ready for this?" I said as we four stood in front of Michelle's house. "Let's do this." Zacky said and rang the bell. "Lana, I thought you wouldn't come tonight." Michelle said as she opened the door. Her smile faded away when she saw us instead of that Lana. "Hey, Chelle." I spoke up. "Hey. Why are you all here now?" she asked confused. "Can we...." I said and she understood. "Sure, come in." she said and we went inside. "You alone, Chelle?" Jimmy asked and she said yes.

"So...." I started and Chelle narrowed her eyes at us. "So...?" she said looking at us. How do we start? "Why don't you guys sit down?" she said a bit too loudly and we four immediately sat down. "So, Paris. Huh?" Jimmy said. "Yeah, Paris." Chelle said playing with a strand of her hair. "What job did you get there?" Zacky asked. "My friend's a designer in Paris, I'm gonna be working with her." she said. "Wow, that's cool." Jimmy said and Michelle shot him a quick smile. "Can we see your designs?" Johnny asked suddenly and we all looked at him. "I'll be back." Michelle said with a smile and went upstairs.

"We're here to talk to her, not see her sketches." Zacky said with lazy eyes. "Now what if she does not stop talking about her sketches and Paris?!" Jimmy glared at Short Shit. "I did this because...." Johnny got cut off by both Jimmy and Zacky who said, "Shut up!"

I looked at them with a frown and said, "Keep it low!" They remained quiet and Michelle came back soon. "Here you go." she chirped and gave us the sketch book. We went through her work and the sketches looked quite nice. "You did it?!" Jimmy asked in awe. "Yeah. Do you like them, Jimmy?" Chelle asked. "They're awesome!" Johnny said and Zacky nodded his head too. "It's beautiful, Chelle." I said and gave her the book. "Thanks, guys." she said with a smile.

"Chelle, I have a friend here. His sister, Molly is a designer too. She has a big fashion line here in Cali. If you want, I can talk to her about you." Zacky said to Chelle. "Thanks for the offer, Zack. But you see, I'm already heading for Paris. So, sorry." Michelle said with a pout. "But you can work here too." Johnny said. "Yeah, Chelle." Jimmy said. Michelle gave us a piercing look and stood up. "I see what you're trying to do." she said and crossed her arms. "Chelle, we're just...." I started but she cut me off. "What? Even you guys don't want me to be happy?!" she said. "We didn't say that." Jimmy said. "We just don't want you to take any decision in haste." Zacky said calmly.

"I'm not taking a decision in haste! I was given 3 weeks to think about it. I though carefully and then came to the conclusion that I'm going to Paris." she said. "But don't you think Brian will be hurt in this process of you leaving?" I asked. "Matt," Michelle looked at me calmly and said. "....I don't wanna hurt anyone. I don't have any plans like that. But if, somebody gets upset or gets hurt due to my leaving, then I cannot help it." Michelle said. The four of us just gaped at her, utterly shocked. "What are you saying?!" Jimmy asked her. "Absolutely." Chelle said. "We didn't expect this from you, Chelle." I say and earn a death glare from her.

"I did not expect this from you guys either! I thought you'd support me!" she said in a loud tone. "Support you? Have you lost it?!" Jimmy said surprised. "Fine, don't support me. But don't discourage me either!" she snapped. "When did we discourage you?" I asked, annoyed. "I just wanna leave. Don't you get it?!" she said. "Chelle, we can talk nicely. None of us want to scream or shout." I said calmly. "Matt, even I don't wanna scream. Especially at you guys." she said. "We understand. You wanna go to Paris or wherever, that's your choice. But have you thought about Bri?" Jimmy asked her.

"Jimmy, I've thought about you guys always. Now I wanna do something for myself and you guys are stopping me?!" she said looking disappointed. "We know you always thought about us. But why would you end things with Brian? What did he do?" Zacky asked her. "Brian did nothing. The bottom line is, I just wanna concentrate on my career now. I don't want a marriage now, and that's what Brian wants!" Chelle said. "We thought you'll be happy with Brian's decision." I said. "Apparently, I'm not." she said coldly. "When did you become so selfish?" Johnny asked. Oh shit....

"If selfish means caring about myself for once, then I'm glad to be called that!" she says. "What do you mean by 'caring about yourself for once'?" I asked getting pissed.

"Last year, I got a modelling job in Alaska. But I did not take that offer because of my family and you guys! The same year, my friend Tracy who lives in Georgia offered me a job in her clothing line. And once again, I refused it!" she spat angrily. "Chelle..." I start to speak but she cuts me off. "I'm not done, Matt!" I remain quiet along with my friends and Michelle speaks again. "I sacrificed some of the biggest opportunities of my life just because of y'all and now you're saying I have become selfish...." Tears streamed down her cheeks as she fell on the couch in front of us. Shit, did we mess up?

Jimmy's Pov
Michelle was crying out her eyes, and none of us bothered to console her. When did we become so selfish? "Chelle, ssh." I sat beside her and rubbed her arms. "Please don't hate me." she said between her sobs. "Come on, Chelle. You know we'll never hate you. We're a family." Matt said. "Yeah, Chelle. Please don't cry." Zacky cooed. "And we'll always support you. But this time it's a little hard to make a decision for us." I said. "Guys, you don't have to decide anything. I have to." Michelle says wiping her face.

"Michelle, you and Brian have been together for so long. You know he loves you a lot, and we know you love him too." Johnny said and Chelle listened quietly. "Tell me, Chelle. Won't you miss all of us when you go to Paris? Most importantly, won't you miss Brian?" Matt asked her. Man, he's hitting the nail on the head!

"I'm very happy that you're thinking about your career, but along with that you need to think about Haner too." Matt said very persuasively. "Matt, I think I know what you're trying to do. I can understand." Chelle said looking at Matt. "Seriously, you're getting him?!" I asked her happily and she nodded her head.

"You guys are trying to cajole me but I should tell you one thing: Don't even go there!" Michelle snapped and we lost our voice. None of us were saying a single word. "Even if you get me hundreds of starts or the fucking moon, I will not change my decision!" Chelle said and went upstairs. What just happened?! "She just...." Zacky trailed off. "....won't change her mind." Matt said in a disappointed tone. "I'm leaving." I said and went out of the house. The others also followed and we sat in the car.

"What should we tell Brian?" Johnny asked. "The truth, of course!" Matt snapped. "No..." I whispered and they looked at me. " What are you saying, Jimmy?!" Zacky said pissed. "We can't tell Bri! It'll fucking break his heart!" I screamed, picturing Brian in my mind. "Matt, we can't give up like this." Johnny said. "He's right. We need to talk to Chelle and explain to her that Brian is her soul mate!" I screamed. "And how the fuck are we gonna do that?" Zacky asked in irritation.

"I have an idea." I said rubbing my temples. "What?" Matt asked. "What did I say earlier today? Before we came here." I asked them. "None of us remembers. SO just fucking enlighten us!" Matt barks. "If we all talk to Chelle together, she'll let out her anger on us. Right?" I said and the others nodded. "So why don't we all talk to her individually?" I suggest. "Good idea." Zacky says. "Yeah, it sounds like a plan." Matt says. "It's Tuesday today. So we have four days to convince Chelle to change her decision." I said.

"Then we have to start working from tomorrow." Matt says. "Who's gonna talk to her first?" Johnny asks. "Zacky can go first." I said. "You sure?" Zacky asks looking unsure. "Yep, I'm sure. You'll go first, Johnny will take the next day, I'll take the third." I said. "Val and I can take the fourth day. And hopefully by then, Chelle will change her mind!" Matt says enthusiastically. "Sounds good." Zacky says.

"Okay. V, tomorrow you'll take Chelle out for breakfast. You guys will spend the whole day together, talk to her casually first. And then bring up the Paris topic gradually. Got it?" Matt asked. "Yep." Zacky said and showed a thumbs up. "ANd for now, let's just cross our fingers." Matt said and we all actually crossed our fingers.
