Matt had been on my case all day long and I was getting pretty annoyed with his constant nagging he should save that for Val when he's home with her and not for shoving his nagging down my throat Meghan was still out grocery shopping with my brother Matthew for my barbeque that I'm having at my house later tonight since Atreyu were going on tour with us I thought I'd invite them along for the festivities I mean Alex and I were inseparable when I'm not around Brian I'm with Alex... This sounds like a love story I thought to myself. Matt and Meghan were taking forever with grocery shopping... Let's get this party started.

A few hours later Matt and Meghan returned with a handful of groceries and two cases of beer I smiled and helped carry the groceries inside sitting them on the table I wanted to help them set up but I had prior engagements to attend to thanks to Matt constantly on my back about the tour and we have another two months to prepare for this tour I just wanted to spend some time with my wife and friends Alex and Matt seemed so close at the hip.. Maybe they had a thing for each other. I thought to myself.

"Hey Matt thanks for helping me set up." I said

"You're welcome big brother." Matt said

"Are you staying tonight ?" I asked.

"I can but not for long." Matt said

"Why ?" I asked curiously.

"Because I have orders to send out before Christmas." Matt replied

"Maybe you have a hot date." I said smirking.

"Shut up." Matt said unpacking the beers.

"Okay calm down you don't have a hot date then." I said mockingly.

"What time is everyone arriving ?" Matt asked

"Whenever they get here." I replied.


3 hours later..
"Where is everyone ?" I paced around my living room.

"Don't worry they will be here." Meghan said.

"What would I do without you ?" I said kissing Meghan's forehead.

"I don't know." Meghan smiled.

a few hours later guest began to ring the doorbell I raced the door like a little kid on Christmas.. That sound's cliché I know.. I thought to myself. but who really gives a fuck ? I opened the door to find Matt and Val dressed to impress I shook my head and smiled. Everyone gathered into my living room Brian and Emma were the last ones to arrive as usual so the last group to come through the door were the Atreyu guys the dressed casually like I wanted everyone else to be dressed but my bandmates had other things on their agenda Meghan and Alex seemed to be getting along great he just needs to watch his wandering hands... I thought to myself.

Michelle arrived to my house with someone who wasn't her boyfriend but Atreyu's rhythm guitarist Dan everyone turned around in shock Michelle had forgotten all about the pain that Brian has put her through she clung to Dan's arm and walked past Brian and Emma who were sitting across from them.. Let the awkward silence sink in I thought to myself. We all came to a conclusion to break the silence by playing beer pong I grabbed the ping pong table from the storage closet and set it up in the living room.

"So who's ready to play ?" I asked

"You're only going to loose big brother." Matt replied

"I can make you eat those words." I said smiling.

"I'll second that!" Alex yelled.

"Do you want to be my first victim ?" I asked

"I'm going to beat you anyway Baker." Alex replied.

Being my usual self I sunk the first ping pong ball into the red cup placed on the table I shot Alex a cocky smile and he shook his head and threw his ping pong ball into the cup but missed it. I laughed at him I had this ping pong game in the bag for sure Dan held Michelle's hand while watching in anticipation waiting for me to fuck up... Asshole I thought to myself.

Dan was up next to face my amazing beer pong skills he looked like he was a few beers deep so this should be easy as pie I seemed so confident earlier but now I'm so sure about this Dan looked over at Michelle before turning his attention back towards me he looked like he was going to puke but he didn't he held his own for 3 minutes before running outside with Michelle following behind him.. She's going to nurse her Danny boy how sweet. I thought to myself.

Johnny was up next to face me he can't even reach the cup so this shouldn't take that long anyway I had a gameplan in motion so I had this in the bag easily Dan and Michelle came back inside 10 minutes later Michelle had mascara running down her eyes clearly she had been crying and puking I couldn't tell but she looked disgusting and need to be home nursing herself instead of nursing her new boyfriend back to health.

I was on a roll tonight Brandon didn't have one beer tonight so I knew I was in for a challenge with him either my ego won't get the best of me Ashley sat next to Emma whispering something in her ear which caused her to be smirking over at me which was weird since Brian was sitting next to Brandon across from the girls... I need a beer after this.. I thought to myself.

Brandon was beating my ass my this point and I was in trouble I had drank a combination of 4 beers total and I was already feeling sick this wasn't how I wanted to go out tonight but the one thing about me I wasn't a sore loser. I continued my reign of glory long before the next opponent was set to face me.

My brother had already left before I could face him I wanted someone who I could beat easily but I've beaten everyone expect Brandon who was still pretending to be an innocent angel sitting next to Matt on the couch and whispering something about me.. I was starting to get really paranoid I thought to myself.


1:00am
The party was coming to an end and I began cleaning up all of the empty beer bottles scattered outside in my backyard and on my living room floor tonight was a success Brandon stayed and helped me clean up even though he bragged about beating my ass all night long I could deal with a little loss every once in a while because everyone does and I can deal with my selfish ego for the time being.


The Next Morning

The daylight sun peaked through my curtains Meghan was still asleep beside me last night been a complete blur and I can't remember a thing to be honest. I rushed downstairs and looked at how much damage I caused and the house was spotless.. I have never woken up to a clean house before I thought to myself. I had Brandon help me clean up last night's disaster we had a great time getting to know each other he seemed like a down to earth guy maybe I can meet up with him in two weeks I marked a place in my calendar for June 20th.

I wanted to make breakfast for Meghan before she had woken up she needs her rest because I want to take her out to dinner later tonight and I didn't want my wife sleeping through dinner and having everyone staring at us. I walked back upstairs with a tray of eggs and bacon a flower in a vase it was just a simple breakfast nothing too fancy I wasn't a gourmet chef but hey I was a decent chef and that's all that mattered to Meghan.


2 hours later..
Meghan walked downstairs I was in the middle of completing Matt's checklist before Meghan wrapped her arms around my waist I dragged her across the floor she began laughing and kissing my neck she looked beautiful with sleepy bags under her eyes she walked to the bathroom lazily as I sat at my computer scrolling through Matt's ridiculous checklist I made coffee before returning to my computer.. This checklist is just fucking ridiculous. I thought to myself.

This was going to be the most heretic tour schedule of my life but Matt would have my ass for breakfast if I don't finish this checklist I had so much to do that I have to postpone dinner with Meghan so I can't do that which really sucked major balls I rather have a knife to my neck than take demands from Matt any longer this was beginning to be a complete nightmare I need to have a serious talk with Matt sooner or later before I go crazy.
