Where Do We Go From Here ?

Matt had been upstairs all morning he couldn't have any distractions while working so I had no choice but to take care of River by myself I wonder how my sister and Eric were doing she hasn't contacted me in the past two days I know I should be worried but I wasn't Michelle was old enough to deal with her situations and she didn't need her big sister to fight her battles for her anymore.

River had woken up around 6:00am... Why? I thought to myself. Matt had finished up his emails and paperwork before deciding to take a drive to Alex's house to discuss the final tour preparations and choosing a setlist of songs and countless band rehearsals will have to be more grueling than usual Alex and Matt were both perfectionist so nothing could go wrong or they will go ballistic Matt has always been a perfectionist even when we were dating he'd check himself out in his rearview mirror before we even pulled off out of the driveway.. I don't know I can say the same thing for Alex.

"Hey Matt could you come downstairs for a minute?" I screamed

"Coming!" Matt screamed from upstairs.

"Okay what do you need ?" Matt asked

"Can you take River to the park later today ?" I asked

"Val, I have to finish with tour arrangements can't you take him ?" Matt asked

"You need to spend some time with your son I can't be the only one that puts in the effort here." I replied.

"We will finish this conversation another time." Matt said

I couldn't stand my husband sometimes he can be so stubborn and just plain rude to me River need me and his father around all the time not just on Matt's schedule the tour wasn't for another two months the Atreyu crew and Avenged had a whole two months to rehearse.. This is just ridiculous I thought to myself.

I was supposed to meet up with Alex's wife Hollie later this afternoon just to have some girl time I knew I needed it because Matt never wants to spend time with me anymore because he's always busy weather it's planning a meeting, going over song setlist, or spending time rehearsing with the Atreyu crew I need to get out of this house before I go insane.


2 hours later..
I gathered River and his favorite toy and loaded him into the car I grabbed my purse and car keys and headed for my car I had gotten buckled up and adjusted my rearview mirror and put my car into drive and backed out of the driveway I drove downtown to meet Hollie I parked in the parking lot and unbuckled River and walked over to where Hollie was sitting between blankets bundled up like frosty the snowman her jet black hair blew in the misty wind. she looked so at peace with herself Alex must be a really lucky guy to have someone like her... I thought to myself.

I walked up to her without any hesitation with River following behind me I sat right beside her I wanted to say something but I had gone completely mute.


"Hi I'm Valary Sanders." I said finally speaking up.

"You're M. Shadow's wife right ?" Hollie asked with a smile.

"So you know who I am ?" I asked curiously.

"Who doesn't know who you are ?"Hollie laughed.

"I guess you have a point there." I said tucking my blanket underneath my stomach.

"And who's this little guy ?" Hollie asked pointing to River.

"This is my son River." I said.

"He's looks a lot like Matt." Hollie said.

"He would be proud to hear you say that." I said placing River in my lap.

"I'm glad I met you." Hollie smiled.

"I'm glad I met you too." I said hugging Hollie.


4 hours later..
After meeting Hollie I was more happy with myself she seemed so sweet and really fun to be around. River sat in the backseat with a toy in his hand and an ice cream cone in the other. I hope to meet the other Atreyu wives soon as I pulled into my driveway, I could see two more sets of cars in my driveway Brian and Emma must be here.. Valary don't get into it with her tonight I thought to myself.

Tonight was going to be hell on earth in the Sanders household expect me to be getting arrested for assault and battery but I'm going to plaster on a smile and try to play sweet and innocent.
