There Is No Me Without You

**Brian's POV**

"Brian please talk, you are scaring me!" Michelle said as she sat on the bed next to me. I took a deep breath and laid my hand on her leg "I think we need to talk Chelle. I have some things on my mind that I can't shake unless you I speak to you." I said as I looked her in the eye, she couldn't look me in the eye though that was the first sign of trouble. She finally nodded but still couldn't look at me, I was about to start talk but she cut in "Bri, I am so sorry. I didn't mean to I was having a bad day, you and I had just had a fight and and I was pissed off and Jason was being sweet to me and one thing lead to another! I really didn't think you would find out! I told Ashley not to say anything! I am sorry!" Now I understood why she couldn't look at me, she had cheated on me and here I was going to be man enough to talk to her about our problems not sleep with the first girl I seen! I could feel my eyes bugging out my head, I never thought she would do such a thing not to me anyway I was always the caring boyfriend she always spoke about I lived up to the gentleman roll. Maybe that was it I was too much of a gentleman that she thought she could walk all over me! "You cheated on me?"I asked in a low voice standing up off the bed I took a step towards the window "You mean that this wasn't to talk about that?" I spun round and shook my head vigorously "No Michelle! I was going to talk to you about our relationship and where it was going! Not talk about you fucking another guy behind my back!" I yelled causing her to flinch, She stood up abruptly and shook her head "I wouldn't have slept with him if you hadn't been acting all strange with me!" She yelled back, I scrunched my face up "When have I been acting strange Michelle?" I sat on the window ledge knowing fine well that Gemma could hear everything and for some reason I wanted her to. "Every since that thing next door turned up you stopped talking to me as much and hanging out with me as much! Can you blame me for looking for attention elsewhere?" that is when I snapped I stood up and pointed to the window "That 'thing' is an amazing girl! She has lost the most important thing to her and she still stands strong. She had to move from her home town because her dad had died! She has to deal with her mums breakdowns as well as deal with her own problems! I am so sorry that I thought that she would need the help from me and my friends even you! But you were quick to judge, that's the thing with you Michelle it has to be about you. I talk to a girl and you assume I have slept with them, I haven't slept with anyone in my life apart from you! I can't say the same for you though can I?" I was breathing heavily I had anger problems as it was and she wasn't helping! Michelle was seething to I could see she didn't like me talking highly of Gemma "You know what Brian,if you like her that much and want to help her why don't you just ask her out? Oh yeah that's right Zacky go to her and now you don't have anyone not even me because quite frankly I don't need you or the others, I already have friends that love me for me and don't judge. Oh and by the way Jason is so much better in the sack than you!" She knew how to push my buttons and she was pushing down so hard on the 'Do Not Touch' button. "Fuck you Michelle, you will make this out to be my fault anyway like I was a bad boyfriend and I didn't treat you right. But I know the outcome of this already, you and Jason will date and then he will find someone better than you and then you will be destroyed and come crawling back to me anyway, and it doesn't matter if Zacky got to Gemma before me because I thought I had a girlfriend that loved me. But you never know I might end up with Gemma one and when that day comes you will have to watch whilst I am truly happy for once. And as for being better in the sack babe I was the best you never had. Now get the fuck out my house and don't come back. I'll make sure to thank Jason." I spoke calmly as I walked her out the door and down the stairs to the front door "You don't know what you're missing Brian Haner!" She snarled as I opened the door I laughed "Oh Chelly, you don't want to know what I have been missing!" and with that I shut the front door and ran up to my room slamming it shut. I don't know what happened after that all I remember was screaming and then nothing, so you can imagine my confusion when I woke up in my bed and head laying on Gemma's lap. I sat up slowly and looked at her "What happened?" I asked as I looked round the room it was evident I had went to my dark place "Well it doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out that you and Michelle are over. The whole street heard I think. I am sorry by the way, I didn't think she was that type! But after she left I was sitting on the ledge waiting to comfort you like you aid you needed and next thing I know you are trashing the place!" She said I shook my head "Did I hurt you?" I asked in a low voice Gemma chuckled and I turned to look at her, she looked amused "It wouldn't be the first raging fit I have had to deal with, although I will admit that you were the scariest I have seen but no you didn't hurt me. All I had to do was wrap my arms around your waist and you stopped. It was easier than I thought." I smiled she only had to touch me and I was putty in her hands. "Do you wanna talk about it?" She asked and to be honest I really didn't I just wanted to sit in silence with her and just be happy for once. Loosing Michelle was a big weight off of my shoulders "No can we just lay down and just chill. I don't want to talk about anything. Is that ok?" I asked as I looked her in the eye, she smiled sweetly and nodded "C'mere" she whispered and held her arms out I leaned into her as she wrapped her arms around me I could hear her heartbeat and it was music to my ears. It was silent for a couple of minutes "you are my best friend Brian and I love you" I heard her whisper and unbelievably I could feel the tears roll out my eyes, I haven't hear those words spoken to me anymore honestly, "I love you too Gemma" I whispered back. I felt her cuddle me a little tighter, it was in this moment that I knew I had been looking for her for a while that I wasn't supposed to be with Michelle, Gemma was the one I was supposed to be with. I wouldn't stop until I had her as mine.
