**Brian's POV**

I woke up to my alarm buzzing in my ear, I groaned and rolled over to smack the shit out of it whic I succeeded as I launched it across my room "We don't even need maths in this world! When will we ever need algebra or how to punctuate right! Fuck school!" I moaned as I dragged myself out of bed over to my bathroom to do my daily business. I brushed my teeth and washed my face and ran a brush through my hair and spiking it, wasn't much of a routine but if I didn't do it in those steps my day is fucked after it. I walked out of the bathroom and over to my wardrobe to pick something out to wear, as I was rummaging through I could hear singing coming from the window I picked up the first t-shirt I saw and threw it on and grabbed my ripped jeans and jumped into them and walked over to the window I couldn't hear what she was singing so I wanted to listen a little closer to see if I knew the song. As I sat on the window ledge I could see her sitting at her dressing table brushing her singing, it wasn't a song I was familiar with so I sat and listened to her. She seemed so into it and she wasn't that bad a singer either. " Can you see me, my love? Up there above? When you were dying, I was dying too. Look for meaning in song, but the meaning was gone cause I was crying right along with you. If the heavens may break,I hope for our sake that if they ever do, I'll Be There with you!" she started humming a little song and it was then I realised she was singing about her dad I watched her as she was now tying her hair up she started to sing again "I woke up feeling the same way that I did yesterday. Don't know what these tears would say, but I miss my friend that went away. I watch the seasons as they go:the rain, the sun, the heat, the snow. I don't know much, but this I know: I miss my friend, I miss him so. I say my prayers, I raise my hands. I move my feet and when I can, I said, "Help." Would you help me now? And lift me up if my legs give out? Cause I know that life is short, and living is the hardest part. And someplace through the dark, we will meet and never part" I could already feel her pain but she knew how to find it maybe this was her way of letting it out, I had already heard her sing the first part which the musician in me told me that, that was the chorus so I joined in with her "Can you see me, my love? Gemma turned round and smiled at me she grabbed her shoes and walked over to her window taking a seat to put her shoes on, "Good morning Brian, I do love a sing song in the morning." She laughed as she tied her shoes I shook my head I wouldn't say anything about her dad I would just let it be if she was happy dealing with it that way I was happy to help her and not say anything "Morning Lovely, yeah you should do, must say I don't mind being woke up that way every morning!" I smiled at her, my brain was telling me to cut the shit but the butterflies in my stomach were telling me differently. I was so screwed. "So are you ready? Zacky will be outside waiting in five minutes." She asked my eyes snapped up to look at her the mere mention of his name on her lips was enough to make me feel sick. Zacky was my best friend I didn't want to be feeling this way towards him, I nodded and stood up grabbing my phone before I jumped over to her bedroom "lets get going can't keep lover boy waiting" Gemma scrunched her face up at me then walked out of her room. I shook my head even saying shit like that made me sound like a jealous freak. I had to snap out of this! Gemma opened the front door and there was Zacky in all his glory smile and all "good morning gorgeous" he said as she walked out causing Gemma to giggle I rolled my eyes as Zacky caught sight of me "Brian? Do you not live next door?" Sometime Zacky could be a little stupid "yes doofus! I came through her window, its a thing we do." I said shaking my head like it was nothing but really it was something and it was a big something, I have slept in her bed twice already, how would he feel if I told him that the night he asked her out I shared the same bed as her not even half an hour later? yeah he wouldn't take it lightly. "how convenient. Anyway you ready for your first day Gemma?" Zacky turned to Gemma and we started walking towards Matt's house, as the two of them talked away to each other I was thinking back to what Jimmy had said talk to Michelle first don't jump in with both feet and as of right now I was jumping and I had no idea if I would land. "Brian!" I snapped out of my daze and looked at Gemma she was pointing to my left and looking like she was disgusted, I turned round and flinched, it was Michelle "Jesus! Don't scare me like that woman! Where the fuck did you come from?" I asked as I held my chest to stop my heart from jumping out. She didn't look happy "Whilst you were staring at elsewhere you didn't realise that you were outside my house!" Michelle sneered I didn't fail to notice that her eyes drifted to Gemma when she was referring to me looking elsewhere. I shrugged "I was thinking about names for the band actually, but Hey babe. How did you sleep? Sweetly I hope?" It was the only way to butter her up, and it did exactly that she grinned ear to ear. Michelle was a beautifully girl she was easy on the eyes and just her smile reminded me that I loved her "Hi babe, yes yes I did. I was dreaming of you so of course I slept well!" she giggle and wrapped her arm around mine, I nodded and smiled "I'm glad" I replied little did she know I was dreaming about her too just not the way she hoped I would've been.

We finally made it to school and everyone separated to go to class I agreed to take Gemma to the reception to get her class schedule "You will be fine I promise, we are all here!" I reassured her, she smiled and nodded "I know I'll just need to remember that when I'm not in the same classes as any of you!" She replied and walked up to the glass "how can I help you?" Mrs Hall asked her, Gemma smiled and leaned closer a little "Hi, my name is Gemma Finnie and I'm new to the school and need a schedule" Mrs Hall smiled and nodded "I just need your date of birth place" she smiled as she signed a few sheets of paper and handed them to Gemma to sign "My date of birth is seven, seven, eighty one" My eyes widened just when I thought she couldn't get any more cooler we share the same fucking birthday. "there you go dear enjoy the rest of your year here" Mrs Hall smiled and walked into the office room. Gemma turned to me and shrugged "why you looking at me like that?" she asked I smiled and shook my head "my birthday is seven, seven, eighty one as well!" she looked shocked and then laughed "Oh my God! We were so meant to meet Brian! This was fate!" that almost stopped me in my tracks, that was similar to what Jimmy said , I just chuckled and nodded "so let me see your timetable." I asked taking the sheet of paper off of her and having a look over it. She had most of her classes with either Matt or Val so she would always be with someone, and her first class was with me. "That's good you have most of your classes with Matt and Val so you will be fine, plus you have the same class as me just now so you will be fine. I'll show you to your locker and then after that everyday me or one of the guys will meet you here that cool?" I asked as we made our way to her locker "yeah thats great! You know I think I'll like it here Bri!" she smiled as she looked around the hall "you won't be saying that by the end of the day thats for sure. Ok here we are!" I smiled as we stopped in front of her locker. She put all her things that she didn't need into it and we made our way to the first class. On the way I had shown her the dining room and the toilets where. soon enough we were in class learning shitty maths. I couldn't concentrate at all with Gemma sitting next to me, every time I looked at her I felt the butterflies in my stomach turn to bat trying to escape. I had to speak to Michelle and quick this was not helping me at all.

It was finally the end of the day and I had barely seen Gemma or Michelle due to being in different classes the only time I saw the was at lunch and even then I couldn't bare being near either of them. I even opted to making an excuse that I had a doctors appointment so that I could get home and not have to see the, would be hard not to see Gemma the first place she will go will be my room to see if I am ok and true enough she was at her window bang on 4:00pm shouting on me. I walked over to the window and sat down "And where did you go after school? Michelle was looking all over for you" Gemma asked I shook my head "Well she shouldn't have been I text her telling her what had happened. Look I don't think I can talk to you much today, I need to talk to Michelle and I honestly don't know what will happen. All I want from you is for you to be there can you do that?" Gemma frowned and nodded "is everything ok though? Anything I can help with?" she asked causing me to smile I shook my head "no I'll be fine, I just need you there if I need you. Anyway, I'll let you go Michell will be here any minute. Speak soon Lovely" I said as I stood up "Speak soon Prince" she smiled and walked away. I walked over to my bed and sat down waiting to have the relationship talk with Michelle and again it was like everything was right on cue I heard the front door knock my dad answer and Michelle's voice. Today is the day I will find out exactly what is going on in my head! Today is the day I find out if she really loves me.Todays the day I find out if I love her. I took a deep breath as she walked in the room "Brian is everything ok? Your text sounded urgent!" I patted the bed "Can we talk please?" here goes...
