To say I was nervous about interviewing this new crop of tattoo artists was a complete understatment. I was shaking as I set up the meeting room so there was enough chairs for everyone. As soon as I told Jimmy about the new artists, he immediately called up the guys and told them what was going on, which in the end, turned into a big whole scene. Matt was going to scare the shit out of them, Brian was going to drill them about any drug use they may have, or had. Zacky was going to silently fume in the corner, and Johnny, well, Johnny wasn't really going to do anything. I don't know why, don't ask me. Personally, I don't see why they had to make such a big deal about it. It wasn't like these guys were going to hurt me. If they were going to do that, they would have done so.

"Hey, babe!" I heard Jimmy call out as I put a bowl of suckers in the middle of the table. Yes, suckers. I have a candy craving every now and then, especially when I'm stressed. This is one of those times.
"Yeah?" I called back to him as I walked from the long table in the room.
"The guys are gonna be a little late, they wanted to know if you could hold off on the interview for like a half hour?" He asked as he looked through his phone, concentrating hard on the task he was trying to do.
"You're kidding right? These kids are gonna be here in five fucking minutes. I can't make them turn around-"
"Got yah!" He smiled, making me glare at him.
"I'm already fucking nervous as is and you're going to pull that on me!" I exclaimed, throwing my hands up in the air.
"Oh I'm only playing. Stop." He murmured as he wrapped his arms around me. I grumbled under my breath as I pressed my face into his chest, "I'm just worried Jim." I muttered. Jimmy went to open his mouth, but was soon cut off by the rest of the guys walking into the shop.
"Hi-oh! We're here to fuck shit up." Brian said as he held his fists up in the air.
"No, you're just going to help me interview these guys. That's it." I said sternly. Matt gave me a puppy dog look, sticking his bottom lip out for emphasis, "But, Meadow. I wanna-"
"You're not scaring my possible employees. Now can we get on with this?" I asked, pulling away from Jimmy's embrace.

The door jingled again and my stress level sky rocketted. Kevin walked in with a girl on his arm, but not just any girl. No. This girl was Leana. How the fuck-
"Hey, Meadow, I'm sorry for bringing a tag along, but she was heading this way anyhow, so I figured she'd wait in the lobby area." He explained as the rest of the guys walked in.
I could feel my anger boiling as Leana looked at me with a much disgusted expression on her face. "I see. Well, she's not going to be interviewed today, you are. So-"
"You mean to tell me, this is your place? Kevin, you're really not going to work here are you? It's so...trashy." She said, looking at me after she spoke the word 'trashy.' Oh, if killing a bitch wasn't illegal, she'd be dead and in the ground by five.
I swallowed thickly, taking a deep breath, "Well, as you can see, the guys and I have still a bunch of work to do with the place." I said, crossing my arms over my chest.
"I'm not impressed. Your custormers must come in for refunds, what with all the diseases they get. God, look at this place," she sounded so fucking fake. Her voice was making me cringe. Jimmy could see this, since he tried to put an arm around my shoulders. I was in no mood to be touched or fucked with for that matter.
Leana went to open her mouth again, but I held my hand up. I chuckled softly, stepping up to her, "Listen, Teen Topanga." I hissed.
The room went silent, but I knew the guys' jaws had dropped by my little comment. "I put my blood, sweat, and tears into this place. And I'll be damned if I'm gonna have some porn star wannabe up in my place talking shit." I said, cocking my head to the side.
Kevin had literally walked five feet from the woman, keeping his lips tightly sealed, "You got the jump on me once, don't think that just because you're walking up in here with my furture fellow tattoo artist won't mean I won't put a fucking smack down on you." I said, squinting my eyes at her. I had respect for this woman before, but after hearing and seeing her true colors..Let's just say that if she were on fire and I had a glass of water, I'd drink that water and enjoy the show.
"Is that a threat?" She spat, putting her hands on her hips.
I laughed at her, literally laughed. I shut my mouth then, shaking my head, "No honey, it's a fucking promise. You come back into this shop with your fake self, I will take matters into my own hands. I'll make damn sure that whatever I fuck up, doctors won't be able to fucking fix."
She went to open her mouth again, but instead of me saying anything, Kevin stepped in, "Lee, just..Just get out. Alright? I want to work here and you're not fucking helping with your bullshit." He said, taking her by the arm.
"But, Kevin!" she screeched.
"But nothing, get out so I can get this fucking job." He said, pushing her out the door.

After he pushed the filth out of the shop, I smiled, giving him a handshake, "Welcome to the crew, dude, let's show you guys to your designated rooms."
