Nothing Lasts FoREVer

“You’re so mean, Chelle! Poor Johnny…”, I laughed.

“What? He’s a midget, he can’t have it big…”, Michelle replied.

“So… What’s new?? I waited for you girls online yesterday but you didn’t show up!”

“Yeah…Sorry, Cat! We went shopping! We’ve been missing you guys like crazy… Why don’t you move to the States?”, Val proposed.

“I can’t, babe… I’m starting college this year! Besides, money is a little low to move there… I barely have enough to survive without working these few months Jimmy will be here. But I can’t find a job and abandon him… He’s here to spend time with me and a job plus college classes will only mean no time left for him.”, I was speaking more to myself than to them. I would love to move to the States so I didn’t have to be apart Jimmy more than a few hours, but I just didn’t see how I could managed that without leaving all my dreams behind. I would not drop out of school even if it meant be apart from Jimmy.

“So?? That’s not an excuse! You could study in UCLA… It’s only a couple hours from where we live, even less…”, Michelle suggested.

“I can’t afford it; even if I find some job there the money wouldn’t be enough! College in the States is even more expensive than here in Portugal.”, I would love to even consider the possibility, but I didn’t see how I would be able to manage the expenses if I were to move there. I’m not the kind of person that jumps into something without thinking about all the possible consequences of my actions. And one of the most important consequences of what Michelle was suggesting would be me dropping out of school eventually because I simply couldn’t afford it and that was no viable option for me.

“Think about it first, before saying no right away… We would help you in any way that we could… Just think about it.”, Val advised me.

“Fine… I’ll consider it.”, I had nothing to consider, I had already made up my mind. Dropping out of college was not an option…

We kept talking about trivia and mostly sex for about two hours. I was getting hungry so we decided to join the boys so I could go to the kitchen find myself something to eat.
Jimmy was trying to explain something to the guys when I got to the living room, and then exemplified hitting some crazy beats in his drum set.

“Want me to get you something to eat, baby?”, I asked as I approached him…

“That would be awesome, babe! And some beer too, please…”, he laced his arms around my waist, still holding his drumsticks and placed a kiss a little bellow my bellybutton.

“What do you want to eat?”, I slid one of my arms over his shoulders.

“I’ll have whatever you’re having…”

I leaned in to place a kiss on the top of his head. I was back in a few minutes with our snacks and his beer. Jimmy was already tangled up in some debate about some lyrics for a new song. I handed him his beer and the biggest sandwich and headed to the couch. He followed me soon after, but kept talking about that song. He sat beside me, grabbed my legs and placed them on his lap. He kept talking while finishing his snack.

“Didn’t you get a beer, babe? Do you want a sip of mine?”, Jimmy asked me.

“No, babe, I’m okay… Thanks!”, I smiled. He would always try to take care of me. “I better get to the kitchen. I’m making home cooked lasagna for dinner. You like it, right?”, I asked while I got up from the couch.

“Count me in, Cat!”, Johnny shouted from the other side of the line.

“Me too!”, Zacky yelled too.

Jimmy smiled widely at me. “I do like it, babe. And so do they!”

“Too bad they’re on the other side of the ocean! I’ll mail it to you!”, I joked and headed to the kitchen.

I was deep in my thoughts by the counter, getting the lasagna ready to put it in the oven when Jimmy’s arms clasped around my waist, his chin resting in one of my shoulders.

“Need any help, babe?”, he whispered against my neck.

“No, honey… I’m okay!”, I turned my head to the side so we could kiss.

Jimmy spun me around in his arms never breaking the kiss.

“Can it wait?”, he mumbled against my lips.

“What?”, I removed my lips from his so I could look at him.

“Can the lasagna wait so we can finish what we started earlier?”, tightening his grip around my waist.

“I’m just finishing it… but it doesn’t take too long in the oven, half an hour tops.”

“That’s more than enough for a quickie!”

“I can’t believe you just said that!”, I shook my head and laughed.

“What? I’ll make it up for you later tonight once we said our goodbyes to the guys.”, he reassured.

“You really thing you can get me warmed up so quickly?”, I teased.

“Oh, shut up! I can get you more than just warmed up and you know it!”, he said with a cocky smile on his face.

“We’re pretty damn confident today, aren’t we?”, I mocked him.

“Are you done with the lasagna yet?”, he asked exasperated.

“Not yet… Five more minutes!”, I answered patiently.

“I can’t wait that long!”, I rolled my eyes and without warning he lifted me up bridal style and carried me out of the kitchen.

“Where are you taking me? I didn’t finish the lasagna yet!”, I was laughing hard; my hands were around his neck and my head leaned on his chest.

“We won’t make it to the bedroom!”, he landed me on top of the piano, which was closer than the couch. One of my feet ended up pressing some keys. “I gonna show you how much fun we can have in half an hour!”, he smiled wickedly at me.

“Jimmy?? Cat? What’s happening? Is everything okay?”, Johnny’s voice sounded in the room.

“You didn’t log off?”, I let out a loud giggle.

“I thought they did!”, he hurried to the computer. “Yeah, yeah, short shit! Everything is just fine… Gotta go now! What’s happening next is not recommended for under aged. See ya.”, he didn’t even let Johnny reply, he just log off.

“That was rude!”, I accused trying to hold back laughter.

“Do you really thing I care about Johnny’s feelings when I have you waiting for me to take you to heaven? He would have done way worst to me!”

“OMG! What’s gotten into you?”, I laughed.

“You, baby… Now relax and enjoy! I got a point to prove!”, he kissed me eagerly and then roamed his lips through every sensitive spot of my body.

WOW.
That was a good way to prove his point. I surely enjoyed every single minute of it, more than once to be honest.

“How’s that for a warm up?”, he asked cockily regaining his breath lying on top of the piano next to me.

“That’s… That’s… a pretty good one!”, I managed to say.

“Did you enjoyed it?”, he raised one eyebrow already knowing my answer.

“I’ll pay you back!”, I assured him.

“Oh, but you did!”, he smirked and kissed my shoulder. “Let’s go put that lasagna in the oven, you lazy ass!”, he taunted me.

I got up unwillingly and got dressed before I walked towards the kitchen. Jimmy followed me closely and slapped my ass gently.

“Hurry, hurry! I’m hungry…”

“That’s your fault! Why didn’t you wait five minutes before getting started with the warm up!”, I accused him.

I finished the lasagna and put it in the pre heated oven. Jimmy grabbed me by the waist and pulled me into his lap. I leaned my head back to rest in one of his shoulders, turned my head slightly and kissed him softly in the crook of his neck.

“Jimmy?”

“Hmm? What, baby?”

“I’ve been thinking…”, I hesitated.

“Yes? What’s on your mind?”, he encouraged me to continue.

“I think I’m gonna read all of my father’s letters…”, I looked at him, waiting for his answer.
