so.... You're a superhero???

"What was that all about?" Syn huffed

He pulled a Marlboro out of the pack and with a flick of his wrist he lit the ciggerette with his index finger.

He took a long drag and let the nicotine absorb through his lungs before exhaling again, the smoke floated around his face before rising into the air.

"I don't know..."
Jimmy paused and turned to Matt.

"It was like I could barely move, I didn't even have enough energy to stand up"
He sighed and paced the ground in small steps from left to right.

"I felt the same, as soon as I touched the girl I lost all my strength, but now that I've put her down again I'm fine"

Jimmy walked up to the car and peered into the passenger side.
He clicked his tongue and pushed a stray strand of hair out of his eyes.

"What if she's like us Matt?...I mean, there's defiantly something different about this one. And I don't think we should ignore it"

Matt shook his head slowly, he thought deeply about what he would do with this unsuspected person they now had in their care.

"I agree jimmy, but we can't just take her back to the mansion, she could be dangerous, and I have to think about the possibility that her un usual gift could immobilize us."

"I think she seems fine" zacky interrupted,
"we will just have to be on guard, you always over react shads, honestly I don't think a little lady like her could actually do much damage, wether she ever meant it or not".

"As long as she keeps away from me I don't give a
shit"
Brian stubbed out his ciggerette and leaned against the hood of the car.
"I happen to like my abilities and I want them to stay the way they are."

"hmm...ok.. We will bring her back with us and see what the hell she is. Until then I don't want any of you making skin contact with her, espicially you Johnny. i saw that you lost your mental link just by being within a few feet of her, so keep on guard"

Johny nodded and opened the back door of the SUV.
He climbed in first followed by zacky and then Brian.

Jimmy bounced around to the boot of the car and hopped into the back, he sprawled his long legs out and winked before closing the hatch.

"Guess I'm driving again then" Matt sighed,

He started the SUV with a mighty roar and sped off down the road towards their home.


The drive back was relatively quiet,the passed traffic lights and stop signs, there weren't many people out tonight so it didn't take long for them to arrive back at the mansion.

Brian scrolled through his phone while Zacky and Johnny battled each other on Nintendo consoles,

"suck it short shit! I win again!"
Zacky tossed the console toward Brian and raised his hands in the air in a champion gesture.

"You always cheat!" Johnny sooked

"no.. You just really suck at fighting games"

Jimmy lent over the back seat and scuffed Johnny's hair into a mess.
"Better luck next time gnome" he laughed

Brian tossed the game to the floor and rolled his eyes, he stared out the window as they pulled into the drive way.

Jimmy continued to poke Johnny slowly in the side of the head as he hummed a slow tune.
Johnny groaned as he swatted jimmy away, which made jimmy giggle and retreat back into his seat.

"keep it down back there or I'll turn this car around" Matt joked.

When Matt parked the car they all climbed out one by one and stood together by the passenger side door.

"Soo.... Who wants to carry her in?"

Brian just shrugged and walked past the car to the front door, his shoes crunched the gravel beneath his feet as he opened it with his key and dumped his bag by the entrance.

"paper scissors rock you for it" jimmy shook his fist at zacky

"oh for gods sake" Matt groaned,
"zack grab the door, Johnny get the bags from the boot with jimmy"
He picked the girl up and closed the car door with his foot while zacky jogged up the path and opened the other double door for Matt.

Once inside he placed her down on the couch and put a pillow under her head.
She stirred and changed her position allowing her legs to dangle over the edge.

"it defiantly isn't as strong now, maybe it's only acts like a panic button, anyone normal that might have touched her while she was in distress would have most likely blacked out"

jimmy had perched himself on the recliner next to her legs and wrapped his arms around his legs.
