so.... You're a superhero???

I lay awake on my bed facing away from the door. The soft glow of moonlight bounces off of my window sill and paints the room in a soft blue light.

So far, tonight had been the longest night of my
life, or at least in the life that I remembered.

I could hardly sleep and all I could think about was the girl down stairs.
I strained my brain trying to think of where I know her face from.

I sighed as I kicked the blankets from my body and pulled on my Vengeance University tank.
I have to find out who she is, I'm determined to solve this puzzle that's racking my brain.

The door to my bedroom was opposite Zacky's, it slowly creaked open as I pushed on the solid oak.

When I saw no lights were on in the kitchen or lounge I assumed everyone had gone to sleep.
I crept down the stairs one at a time and ascended down into the living room.

The girl was still in the same spot that Matt had left her in, a blanket drooped over her body and her light brown hair flowed over the edge of the sofa.

I took a moment to study her face, yes... I definitely knew this girl.

Memories of running for our lives through the woods with Matt and the others flashed through my mind.
I scrunched up my face as I tried to think back before our escape from the facility...
But it's no use, I can't remember any further than that..

I'm brought swiftly back to reality when a hand tapped me
lightly on the shoulder, I was startled and quickly spun around to see jimmy looking into my eyes, he had one hand over my
mouth and a finger raised to his lips.

He he made a hushing sound as he led me out of the lounge and into the kitchen.

"Jesus Jimmy, give a guy a heart attack"
I bent down into the fridge and pulled out two beers, the lids popped off and clanged to the floor bouncing off in opposite directions.

"what are you doing up Bri?"
He waited for a response while I took a gulp off beer.

I wiped the excess liquid from my lips and placed my
hands on the bench next to him.

"I dunno... I Guess I couldn't sleep.." I sighed

"Jimmy? Do you ever get the feeling that you know someone, I mean, really know them, but no matter how hard you think about it you just can't remember where from?"

"Hmm." He tapped his fingers on the bench lightly

" if your talking about the girl in the lounge I know exactly what you mean"

i raised an eyebrow as he continued

"I'm pretty sure Matt feels the same Bri, but while we were playing tonight I noticed her in the crowd during the beast and the harlot, I knew right then that and there that she was important or that I knew her or something, but i
guess just like you I cant remember that far back"

"Well I guess wel just have to wait until the morning to
find out who she is, come on Bri, if Matt finds out you've been up all night he won't be impressed, your on the first shift for driving tomorrow"

"alright... I'm going to sleep out here if that's ok, not that I think I'll be able to get much rest"

"alright.. I'll see you in the morning"

jimmy saluted me as walked back up the stairs two at a time, I heard him walking above my head and then his door clicked shut as I crashed on the couch on the other side of the room.
