Erin’s P.O.V

I met Hannah at the car and we were once again listening to music but Hannah turned it down when she noticed that I was deep in thought.

“Alright talk to me girly there is something going on in that head of yours!” She said and I just sighed.

“Well your brother asked me to the party tonight… and for some reason Matt was watching me at my locker while making out with his girlfriend…” I said and she just sat there wide eyed.

“You seemed to be pretty high up on the popularity list today girl! But that is weird Matt staring at you like that… little disturbing” She said and I started laughing and I knew then.. she was becoming my bestfriend.

“So what about you?” I asked her and she looked confused.

“What do you mean what about me?” She asked me and I just laughed and lifted my eyebrows and she was still confused.

“Who do you like? Do you have any guy that you want to date?” I asked and she just blushed and I leaned forward.

“WHO!?” I got excited.

“I really like Brian actually… but I don’t think he will ever feel the same about me” She said and I knew that when he walked into the room I saw her light up.

“I KNEW IT! YOU HAD THE LOOK!” I said and she punched me in the arm.

“Shut up you bitch!” She said laughing.

“You have to go after him if you really like him!!” I said to her and she just blushed and turned the music back up. She stayed over and helped me choose what I wanted to wear tonight and I figured tonight was going to be pretty amazing.

Brian’s P.O.V

I was hanging over at Matt’s along with Jimmy while we prepared for the party and Matt was sitting there playing Call of Duty and I was texting Hannah in the meantime but Jimmy was distracting me a little with talk of Erin.

“I cannot believe that Erin is back!” Jimmy said.

“My question is how Matt okay with Zack taking Erin to the party tonight?” I asked turning my head to Matt who died and started cussing and threw the controller on the bed and sighed.

“Dude it’s not like that! We were really good friends… that’s all okay! Zack can take her if he really wants!” He said getting really defensive.

“Dude you know that isn’t all and that is that! It was way more than that and you know it! Even when we were younger you fucking loved her… get over the macho man act!” Jimmy said laughing and we were both watching Matt grow red.

“Alright we should back off of him… I am sure that he will figure out he likes her when the time is right” I said and Matt threw his pillow at my face.

“I am in love with Val! You dimwit!” He said and I just laughed hysterically.

“Yeah yeah say that when you see Zacky mackin on her at the party!” Jimmy said… he was really set that Matt was going to end up with Erin.

Matt’s P.O.V

Finally after the two of them hounding me it was time to head over to Zack’s house. When I arrived at his house Val was waiting outside for me and she ran and jumped on me making out with me endlessly and I carried her inside and set her down on my lap. I turned to Hannah who was talking to Brian.

“So where is your brother?” I asked her.

“He went to go get Erin” She said and turned back to Brian.

“So Zacky invited the new girl? Why? She isn’t even that pretty” Val said and everyone turned to her and jimmy looked a little angry.

“She used to be our bestfriend before she moved to Texas Val… we have known her for a long time and she is really pretty now stop being so stuck up” Jimmy said and she just rolled her eyes and looked at me again.

“Val seriously… she was my bestfriend… don’t hate on her… I love you” I said to her and she calmed down out of her bitch phase that seemed to come out towards any girl. After about 10 minutes of people piling in and drinks starting to flow Zacky and Erin made their way back to the house and they were laughing and smiling… it pained me.

“Dude come say hi!” Jimmy said calling me over to Erin and Zacky while she met Jason and Matt Berry and Michelle was cuddling to Jason like usual. I walked over and they both hugged me and just feeling Erin’s touch… felt right.

“Hey E… wanna grab some drinks with me?” I asked her and she looked at my hand.

“Ummm you already have a drink” She said and I looked down and then chugged my drink and smiled. Zack nudged her and she smiled and walked into the kitchen with me and she waited while I grabbed a drink from people.

“Sooo I am sorry for the awkwardness earlier… I was just taken back… why didn’t you just call me… I would have loved hearing you were coming home” I said stopping what I was doing and pounding my hand down on the counter making her jump.

“Ummm excuse me but I am pretty sure that we were just fucking kids and I didn’t think that you would even fucking remember me Matt!” She said to me and she ran out the back door that was in the kitchen and I ran after here through the garden and I caught up with her and grabbed her arm.

“E… I am sorry!” I said to her and she pulled back but was still really close.

“What the hell do you want me to say Matt?! That the love that I had for you as a child is still there? You have a girlfriend and we are two completely different people!” She said to me out of breath and yet had no reason to be.

“Calm down Erin… you always did go off the deep end.. I know I am with Val its just when I saw you… well I felt like there was something unfinished… I don’t know what I really want… but-“ And midway through my out loud thought Erin pressed her lips to mine roughly and lingered for a moment and then pulled away.

“Something like that?” She said breathing on my lips and I pulled her back to me and kissed her over and over again and I pushed her up against the fence and her hands ran through my hair and my fingers were in her hips and she felt..so good.. so right... but she pulled away.

“No… wait… I can’t… this never happened… I am gonna hang with Zack.. and you go be with Val..” She said to me and started walking away but I grabbed her and kissed her once more…

“Meet me behind the school after third period tomorrow alone… I may not fully get you.. but I need you” I said to her and she just walked away… I had no idea what I had just done.. did I really just say that I would see her on the side…
