Zacky’s P.O.V

Erin’s smiling face returned from the kitchen and she carried a drink for herself, me and Hannah and I wrapped my arm around her waist while Matt followed with drinks for Val, Jason and Michelle and we made our way into the family room sitting down.

“So Erin I love your jeans, they are Burberry right?” Val asked Erin and she took a sip from her drink and then smiled and nodded.

“Mind telling me how much you paid for those? I have been dying for some!” Val asked trying to
get along with Erin.

“I think that they ran about $850; if you want I have like 5 pairs that still have the tags on! Sometime this week you can come see if they fit and you can take a pair” Erin said and Val lit up like a Christmas tree. I turned my head to Erin and smiled and she beamed back at me and then she turned to Hannah… damn this girl is gonna play hard to get.

Hannah’s P.O.V

Val seemed to be getting along with Erin but I could tell that they both hated each other on the inside more so Val hating Erin then the other way around. Erin turned to me and jammed to the music and I pulled her into the living room and we both started dancing happily.

“Just wanted to say that you should watch out for my brother” I said to her and she giggled.

“I saw the condom in his wallet and the one in his back pocket love; there will be no sexy time for him though! I am just here to have fun with you and the guys!” Erin said to me and I just smiled and nodded and we sat there sipping our drinks.

“But you do realize he is into you right? And that he thinks this is a date” I said and she stopped for a moment when Matt and Val entered the room and then she went back to everything.

“I think Zack is hot… but I am not in the dating mindset! I just wanna have fun and get through the first week of school at least!” She said over the music and I just threw my hands up and danced. The party dissipated after 9pm and Zacky had made multiple moves on Erin but finally I noticed that she said goodbye to him and kissed him gently and she walked over to me and grabbed her jacket.

“Alright love I am heading home; see you in the morning?” She asked me and I nodded and hugged her and she walked out. Zack came over to me and sat down watching Matt walk out the door not but a minute later. Zack turned to me and frowned.

“Awee are you sad that the gorgeous Erin didn’t put out for you?” I said in a babying tone and he just nudged me in the shoulder.

“I was a gentleman all night and yet she still didn’t give me anything” He said and I just rolled my eyes..

“You sir.. will never understand… now clean this up before mom and dad get home!” I said and smiled and ran up the stairs laughing like a little girl.

Matt’s P.O.V

I woke up the next day exhausted from my lack of sleep remembering stopping Erin in the garden last night and what I said to her about meeting up with me… I hopped out of the bed and grabbed a shower and threw on my muscle Metallica shirt and my favorite jeans and threw on my jacket and not but five minutes later I ran downstairs only to be stopped by my father.

“Matthew can we talk for a moment?” My dad said and I walked over to him already annoyed.

“Were you drunk last night?” He asked and I rolled my eyes and was about to walk away but he grabbed me by the shoulder.

“Dad seriously it was one drink and I was fine” I said to him and he scoffed.

“Then why did you come in all mopey and weird last night… you weren’t yourself” He said and I just sighed.

“Erin Collins moved back with her father… I think I may… feel for her… I don’t know I gotta get to school bye dad” I said and walked out the door and when I got out I saw Erin walk out the door in black skinnies with a black tank top and a fitted flannel shirt over it and her hair was pinned up and I inspected her from head to toe… but then the car drove off and I noticed Jimmy and Zack waving for me to catch up with them..

Erin’s P.O.V

Time was ticking by slowly… it was 10 minutes till the end of second period and I was going to have to decide whether or not I wanted to face Matt behind the school or not. I sat there tapping my pencil and Zacky slid down the table and smiled at me and I just sat there confused.

“Can I help you Z?” I asked and he just grabbed my hand and rubbed it.

“What do I have to do for you to be mine?” He asked and I just sighed.

“Well first off let me get through the first week back to school… second.. maybe learn what I like and don’t like.. get to know me.. I don’t know what impression I led you to believe.. but I am not an easy lay Z..” I said to him and he just laughed despite the fact that I just dissed him.

“I like you Erin… you seem to get the wrong impression of me” Zack said and I just sighed again because he was coming off a little strong for my taste.

“So I am supposed to trust you saying that after I saw the not one but TWO condoms that you had? I like you but not that much yet” I said to him and his faced dropped a little and he shrugged.

“Well can’t a man hope to have a gorgeous woman in bed with him? You are honestly really beautiful Erin” He said and perhaps he wasn’t fully a really perverted teenager. I heard the bell ring and I got up grabbing my stuff and he stopped me and kissed my cheek.

“Just get to know me Z” I said and walked to my locker putting some books away and down the hall I saw Matt walking towards the back doors and I just sighed and against my better judgment I looked around and walked down towards the doors. I made sure that literally nobody saw me and when I popped outside of the door Matt grabbed my hand pulling me further down the back of the school.

“Matt what the hell?” I stopped him and he just pushed me against the wall with his face near mine. I took in a deep breath trying to keep myself calm.

“Well you have me here… what did you want?” I asked him and he smiled pulling back looking me up and down.

“I still cannot believe it’s you” He said and ran his hands up my side and my arms stopping right above chest and his hand hovered over the locket that he gave me. I reached up and opened it and smiled showing the photos that were in there. He looked at the photos then at me and I breathed heavily as I saw the intentions in his eyes… he wanted me and I wanted him.

“Erin… you were my bestfriend..” He said and I took one more breath.

“It’s so much more… now” I said spacing the last word from the rest and looking down at the ground… it was silent now and neither could find the words to say. The bell sounded and since there was nothing I started walking away.

“Wait!” He said loudly and startled me making me stop in my tracks and I turned around and he nearly ran towards me and he kissed me roughly and my feelings poured into the kiss.. he pushed me up against the wall and I hopped up wrapping my legs around his waist and he kissed my neck up and down.

“God this is nuts… I don’t fucking understand” He said kissing my neck again and I ran my hand across his neck and the other up his arm and then hopped off of him and took a deep breath again.

“Why did you bring me here” I asked him.

“I feel like I need you… but…” He trailed off. What the hell was his deal?

“What do you mean that you need me?” I asked him and he just raised his eyebrow at me and then smiled.

“I mean come on Erin… I fucking have feelings for you… but I love Val… I just feel like… maybe we can find time to be alone.. to reconnect” He said and I flew off the hinge and busted out laughing even though I was angry.

“HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND! YOU WANT ME BUT YOU WANT VAL… YOU JUST OFFERED TO DATE ME ON THE SIDE! MAKE UP YOUR MIND!” I yelled and he just stared at me and then he came over pressing his lips to mine but I pushed him away.

“You are full of too much fucking testosterone…. You make the call yourself of what you want… but for now… leave me the hell alone” I said to him walking back into the school deciding to grab my stuff… and skip the rest of the school day.
