Hannah’s P.O.V
The boys had spent the past two days gawking at the girl who just moved down the street and anytime they got more boxes at the house they would watch her move stuff and Jimmy would always wave at her. I figured that since today it was raining and there was nothing going on I would go and introduce myself. I walked down the street with my umbrella and went up to the house ringing the doorbell. A tall man with green eyes answered the door with a smiled.
“I sir, my name is Hannah and I am here to welcome you and your daughter to the neighborhood! I live about 4 houses down from you with my mom, dad and my two brothers!” I said and he just smiled and motioned for me to come inside. I walked in and it was an EPIC house that was full of music memorabilia and sound equipment and I was in awe.
“Sorry if I seem like a weirdo and keep staring but this house is incredible!” I said and he just laughed.
“Give me a second and I will run and get my daughter and you can meet her!” He said and then ran upstairs leaving me to take in the sights of the house. Moments later he came back down with this red head that was actually really pretty and she came down and hugged me.
“Hi there my name is Erin Collins” She said and I just smiled.
“Hello I am Hannah Baker I live 4 houses down I just came by to say welcome to the neighborhood” I said and she smiled really big.
“You wanna come up and see some of the rooms and what not?” She asked and I smiled and walked upstairs with her and she took me through all of the rooms and we ended up in hers and I noticed that she had some cupcakes on her couch that were on a plate next to a laptop and she smiled.
“You can grab one if you want” She said and I just laughed loudly.
“Was it really that obvious that I was eyeing the cupcakes?” I asked and she laughed.
“You get the same look that I do when I see the perfect cupcake… it is the look of want and you just wanna pounce on it and make it yours!” She said and we both fell to the ground laughing and ended up sharing the four cupcakes. After about 4 hours I finally made my way downstairs to head home.
“Well if you want on Thursday we can go get a bite to eat at the pier!” She said and I was surprised that she knew where that was.
“That sounds good! What all have you seen out here already?” I asked and she just smiled.
“Well I lived out here most of my childhood actually like 3 houses down from here and then we moved to Texas and we just moved back so I just know where everything is!” She said happily and I nodded and hugged her and made my way back home… she was really turning into a great friend.. I think she would fit in pretty well with the guys!
Zack’s P.O.V
Hannah had finally made her way home and she was really quiet about her time with the new girl and I barged into her room while she was reading and she gave me an evil glare.
“So you gonna tell me how it went with the new girl?” I asked her and she just flipped me off and rolled her eyes at me and then after I waited a few moments she finally laughed and motioned for me to sit down.
“Well she is really nice and her father must be a music guy because he has soooo much music equipment it unreal! She just moved back here though and we are going to the pier to grab food and just have fun on Thursday since the following Monday we start school” She said… damn this sucked I was gonna be gone with the guys doing some stuff till Sunday.. I guess meeting her would have to wait.
Erin’s P.O.V
Days had flown by and since our trip to the pier together Hannah and I had become bestfriends and it turns out that she has most of her classes with me and we already planned that we were going to eat lunch together. It was Sunday night and I was texting Hannah about school.
I am soooo not ready for tomorrow…. –Hannah
OMG me neither…I just hope that nobody really cares that I am the new girl –E

Sounds good! Night love –E I replied and then drifted off to sleep until the sound of my cruelly loud alarm filled my room. My dad ran in and pulled my blanket off and I sighed and groaned and just pushed him out. I took a long shower and put on a pair of black skinnies, a misfits tank top with a grey jacket over it and then threw on my black converses and I grabbed my backpack and ran downstairs and was greeted by my father and Hannah eating at the table.
“YAY FOR BREAKFAST!” Hannah yelled and I ran over and we ate and then we walked out and my driver opened the door and she paused before she got in.
“Something wrong?” I asked her and she just laughed.
“You have a driver?” She asked and I nodded and she just shrugged and got in the car and on the way there we rode with the windows down and music blaring and we passed by her brother and his friends. We stuck our heads out the window.
“HAHA BITCHES NO RIDE FOR YOU!” She yelled.
“SUCKAS!!” I yelled and we both fell back in laughing and just taking in the fact that we didn’t have to walk to school. When we arrived she and I were just chatting in front of the school and I saw the guys walk up.
"Zack, Brian, Jimmy this is my new friend Erin Collins! She just moved back here from Texas” Hannah said and the one she called Jimmy was in pure shock and suddenly my mind flipped back five years…. Jimmy…
“Jimmy?” I asked and just stared into space. He walked over to me and hugged me tightly.
“OH MY GOD I HAD NO IDEA THAT WAS YOU! I MISSED YOU!” He yelled jumping for joy with me as well all walked inside.
“I missed you as well I just moved back here with my father” I said and he stopped at my new
locker with me.
“Where is you mom?” He asked and I just sighed.
“They went through a nasty divorce and she fell into depression and I was living with both of them through joint custody until my dad told me he was moving here and he is fighting for full custody” I said and he just smiled warmly and rubbed my back.
“Well it is great to have you back! I can’t believe this! Save me a seat at lunch?” He asked and I just nodded and he darted off. Hannah just stared at me.
“You know him?” She asked and I nodded.
“He used to be one of my bestfriends!” I said and she just shrugged and her brother was staring a little and she nudged him.
“Dude don’t just stare at her!” Brian said loudly and we all just laughed. I went to class with Hannah and talked with her and met up with some of the guys and right before the last period I was stopped in my tracks hearing someone say my name behind me.
“Erin? Erin Collins?” A deep voice said and I swirled around and my hair pooled around and over my chest and to my stomach… and just then all of my childhood came back to the present day…
