Riptide

The perfect evening...sorta

Avery’s POV

“Come on, you’re really not going to tell me where we’re going?” I complained as Brian opened the door to his large black BMW.

It was the first time actually riding in his car with him instead of a taxi, and that thought alone made my heart swell in away I didn’t expect. The car had expensive leather interior and smelled like a mix of his cologne, leather, and smoke. It was an intoxicating blend and I couldn’t help but take in a deep breath, memorizing the scent. I could really get used to this and that idea excited me.

“Are you ready, beautiful?” Brain asked as he climbed in and turned the key in the ignition. The car roared to life and I couldn’t miss the smile that spread over his face. It was obvious that he loved this car.

“Yes, though it would be better if I knew what to expect,” I admitted, feeling a little bit anxious and nervous. I wasn’t sure what his intentions were and it was killing me, especially since I wasn’t usually one for surprises. Maybe I should have told him that before today, huh?

Brian chuckled and pulled his aviators over his eyes, looking at me with a sly smirk. Those perfect lips stared back at me and I had to concentrate on keeping my wits about me. Brian said that this night was for us and I wanted that more than anything—to be his fully and freely. It was something completely new to me, considering how my dad was.

“Just sit back and enjoy the ride, sweetheart.” I could hear the laughter in his tone as he revved the engine and raised a brow at me. Why was this man so damn attractive? “Ready?”

“Are you sure you remember how to drive?” I teased and Brian threw his head back with a laugh.

“Are you teasing me, Miss Jacobson?” Brian leaned in so close that my breath caught in my throat. I could already taste his lips on my and I eagerly waited for him to close the gap and kiss me but he didn’t. He only smirked at me, watching me closely.

“I have no idea what you’re talking about.” Brian wasn’t the only one who could wield a wicked smirk. “You must be imagining things.”

“Is that so?” He looked amused as a smile spread over his face. I took the opportunity to move in so that our lips just barely touched, knowing that I had some cards I could play too.

“Tell me where we’re going,” I breathed, looking at him threw my eyelashes in the most seductive way I knew how. In all honestly, I had never tried to look seductive before and I hope it came across the way I wanted it too. But by the way Brain chuckled and shook his head, it didn’t work the way I hoped.

“No,” he said simple, pulling away and flooring the car out of the driveway.

I let out a nervous squeak as he accelerated more than necessary down the street and onto the boulevard. I gripped the door handle and the armrest for dear life, feeling a mix of excitement, a rush, and total fear. No one had ever drove like this with me in the car before and I didn’t know if I should be scared or turned on.

Brain looked at me out of the corner of his eye, chuckling. “Nervous?”

I swallowed thickly and grimaced as he flew around another car. “I would feel better if you slowed down a little bit,” I admitted, feeling my heart race as he grabbed my hand.

“Live a little bit love,” Brian said, coming up to a traffic light. “I promise you’re safe with me,” he assured me, leaning over and pecking my lips once we stopped. I bit my lip as he pulled away, watching him smile. I don’t think I had ever seen him smile this much and I had to admit it was the most amazing sight. “Besides, I haven’t got to drive my car in over a month and I love to go fast.”

And with that, we were flying down the boulevard again. This time, I embraced the rush and traced small circles over the back of Brain’s hand. “So what are your plans for the weekend?” I asked, watching the city fly by as we headed towards Long Beach.

Brian smiled again, and if he kept it up I was going to become addicted to that amazing view. Was that all because of me? “Well, definitely having you by my side as much as possible,” he started, squeezing my hand. “I’m going to see my sister’s band perform on Saturday night, maybe have brunch with my dad and Suzie on Sunday, and then we head out nice and early Monday morning,” he finished with a sigh. I could tell just by his tone that he felt the same way I did. He wanted more time home, as did I. It was Thursday night and we only had until Monday morning before we headed back out.

“That sounds like a great weekend,” I smiled, wondering what my weekend would end up like. I didn’t really have any plans, well besides that Maya was picking me up in the morning for birthday festivities and something on Saturday with my dad. I’m sure if he was home Sunday, both Maya and I would be stuck at home too. That thought made me frown.

“And,” Brian continued. “I was hoping maybe I could sneak you out on Saturday night to come to the concert with me...if that’s something you’re interested in. They are a high school band but they are pretty damn good,” he said, like he actually had to convince me to spend time with him.

“I’d love to,” a huge smile pulled over my face. “You don’t think your family would mind me there?”

“Are you kidding, Ave?” Brian said with an odd expression coming over his face. It was almost like he didn’t realize that going to see his sister’s band included me meeting his family. Was that step too fast? I mean, Brian already knew my dad and I would introduce him to my brother if I knew where he was. Last I knew he was doing something with the Peace Corps in Haiti. He hadn’t really kept in touch since he and dad had a falling out when he dropped out of university last year. “They will love you.”

“Are you sure?” I asked, feeling like I was imposing now. Brian squeezed my hand as he pulled into a restaurant parking lot by the beach.

“Yeah,” he said nodding his head, like he was convincing himself it was okay too. “Are you ready for some of the best food you will ever eat?” he asked, changing the subject.

The next thing I knew, Brian was leading me through this very fancy Italian restaurant towards the back room. The waiter directed us towards a very cozy corner booth that over looked the small jazz band playing on the other side of the music. There floating candles in the middle of the table that illuminated our table in the dimmed atmosphere. To our left, you could see the sun setting over the ocean and it was honestly one of the romantic set ups I had ever seen.

“Wow,” I gasped, looking around at the beautiful restaurant and then out the window at the beach. I slowly slid into the booth, gapping at everything. No one had ever taken me some place so fancy, romantic, or nice in my entire life. I literally felt like the luckiest girl in the world.

“Do you like it?” Brian asked, nuzzling his nose against my ear as he spoke. His warm breath sent chills down my spine and I had to blink a few times to regain myself.

“Brian…” I said breathlessly, meeting those dark brown orbs. “It perfect and so beautiful. It’s honestly too much,” I shook my head; still not believing this was my life right now. How did I end up dating a famous rock star and living this life? I was just simple Avery Jacobson, a graphic design major from UCLA. There was nothing special about me, yet this all made me feel like I was royalty.

Brian chuckled and cupped my cheek, his calloused thumbs running over my cheeks. “There is nothing that is too much for you,” he muttered before leaning in and gently kissing my lips. When he pulled away, his eyes locked with mine and his smile grew.

“What?” I asked as he shook his head and took my hand, kissing it a few times. “Brian what?”

“It’s just unbelievable,” he continued to shake his head before he pushed a lock of hair behind my ear. “If it was even possible, you look even more breathtaking in this light.”

I smiled lightly as a blush engulfed my face. “You’re not so bad yourself,” I said with a smirk coming over my lips as he scooted over so close to me that our thighs were touching. My hand instantly went to his thigh and melted into his side. “This is honestly perfect,” I felt so unbelievably happy right now and I was nice not to worry about covering anything up.

“I’m glad you like it, love,” Brian grabbed the menu and ordered us a bottle of wine and our dinners when the waiter came over. We spent the remainder of dinner, laughing, feeding each other, enjoying each other childhood stories, and sharing the occasional kiss.

“So you got grounded from listening to Duran Duran for years?” I laughed, feeling a slight buzz from the wine. “I cant even image…”

“We’ll, what can I say, they are my favorite band,” Brain chuckled, bring his glass to his lips. “Now, tell me something about you. What is an embarrassing childhood story about you?”

I bit down on my lip, pushing around the remaining part of my dinner on the plate. I was stuffed, but I was afraid to let the waiter take my place because I didn’t want this night to end. It was perfect so far. “Okay, but you cant laugh,” I started, feeling the blush coming already. Brian nodded but I could already see the corners of his mouth twitching with anticipation. “When I was about seven, my parents enrolled me in dance classes and I’ve danced ever since, I’m even on UCLA’s dance team but that’s besides the point.”

“You’re on the dance team?” Brian gapped at me, his eyes traveling over my curves. “No wonder you’ve got that killer little body.” His hand rubbed up and down my thigh as a smirk fell over his lips. If he kept that up, we’d have to cut this evening short.

“Yes, but anyway,” I blushed, pushing my dirty thoughts away. “When we got to our first recital, I was so nervous that I actually wet myself on stage in front of everyone. I remember trying to run off the stage and ended up slipping in the puddle and falling on my ass…” I said, hiding my face as Brain laughed. “I cried so hard and some of the parents actually teased me for a while as ‘slippin’ in the rain’.

“We’ll I assume you amended that problem, or else you wouldn’t still be dancing,” he chuckled. I nodded, watching him as he looked over across the room at a few couples dancing to the music. “Come on,” He said, suddenly standing and grabbing my hand.

“What? Brian I don’t think that’s such a good—“ I started, shaking my head. I didn’t know why but I suddenly felt really shy about dancing.

“Nope, I want to see these dance skills,” Brian insisted, leaning down and kissing my lips.

“You’ve seen me dance before,” I argued but he wasn’t having it

“Drunken dancing with Zacky, Jimmy, and Maya doesn’t count. Hell, drunken dancing with me at the club in New York doesn’t counter either. Tonight is about you and me and I want you to dance with me,” He flashed me the most adorable smile and I knew resistance was futile.

Brian grabbed me around the waist and led me out to the dance floor, and I was surprised when he pulled into him like we were the only ones in the room. He took on hand in his and put the other on my waist as we moved to the sultry jazz.

“This is some of my favorite music to just relax to,” he admitted, pushing me out away from him as I moved my hips to the beat. He watched me move and bit down on his lip before pulling me back towards him. “And if it was even possible, that little move right there made me enjoy it even more.”

“What move? This one?” I giggled, pulling always and doing it again with his lead hand still in mine. He watched me with a huge smile before he groaned and pulled me back to him. His hand both moved to my waist as the music slowed down. I looked up at him with a smile, staring into his eyes.

“What’s going on in that beautiful head of yours?” He asked, making my smile grow. I could feel him tracing circles on my lower back, almost as if he wanted to sink lower to my ass but was afraid to do it in public.

I rested my head on his chest, closing the rest of the distance between us. “It’s just perfect,” is sighed. “I don’t want it to end.”

“It doesn’t have to,” Brian lifted my chin. “I’ve still got one more thing planed for the evening…well maybe two.”

“Or even three?” I teased, earning a chuckle. “But really, this is the best evening I could have asked for.”

Brain smiled down at me. “I feel the same way, love. It’s so fucking nice to just be out with you and not having to worry about anything, not to mention that you get to come home with me.”

“I know,” I agreed. “I would love to do it everyday, if I were being honest.” I blushed lightly and to my surprise, Brian nodded in agreement.

“Maybe we could figure out a way to make you a more permanent fixture at Casa de la Gates?” He smirked before spinning me around and pulling me back into his embrace. Our eyes locked and I could feel my heart racing in my chest. He made me feel so alive and so happy that I completely forgot about my dad not approving.

“Sounds perfect to me,” I said before Brain leaned down, his lips meeting mine, holding them there. This his lips parted and closed parted again. I drew a breath in the moment between kisses, sensing he would come back again. And thank goodness he did because my need for him was rising. This sensual and teasing kiss was making me crave him, especially with the light flavor of wine that lingered on his lips.

I leaned into Brian, still holding him, and he brought up his free hand and cupped my cheek. He held my lips to his in the most intoxicating kiss for what felt like forever until he pulled away, but I wasn’t complaining. I felt slightly dizzy when he pulled away.

“Ave,” he breathed, his fingers running over my face as he stared into my eyes. There was something there that I hadn’t noticed before but I couldn’t identity it. It felt like we were the only ones in the room and my heart was soring. There was no turning away from this man ever again because I knew that I was severely falling for him now. Another few days like this and I was positive that I would be head over heels for the guy. Was it too soon? I didn’t know but I couldn’t change how I felt.

“You are absolutely amazing,” Brian said, smiling down at me, my face still in his hands. He pressed his mouth to mine again, and I was so surprised by electric shock that hit me, that I felt like my bones were turning into mush. I wrapped my fingers up into his hair, wanting to hold him like this all night.

When he finally pulled away again, I had to hold onto him so I didn’t topple over in my heels. “What do you say we move onto the last part of the date?” Brian asked, a wicked smirk coming over his face.

“What do you have planned next?” I asked, looking up at him with a raised brow. He just chuckled and leaned down to peck my lips one more time.

“You, my dear, will just have to wait and see,” he said, grabbing my bag and handing the check back to the waiter as we sat down. “Did you like the first surprise?”

“Yes,” I said, my head still spinning after that mind-blowing kiss. “I honestly don’t know how you could make this night any better,” I continued truthfully. I had never had so much fun or felt so important on a date in all my life.

“Thank your for your patronage, Mr. Haner,” the waiter said, handing Brian back his credit card. He quickly put in his wallet before, helping me out of the booth again. When I was finally standing on my own two feet, he leaned down and kissed my lips hungrily.

“If you keep that up,” I breathed in between kisses. “We wont get to your second part,” I teased but it didn’t matter. I wanted him and he wanted me.

“You, my little one, are going to be screaming my name all night, just you wait,” he said with a wicked smirk as he took my hand and headed for the door.

“Excuse me?” Someone interrupted right before we reached the exit. I took a small step away from Brian as we both turned around to see two girls standing and staring at him with wide eyes. “Are –are you Synyster Gates?”

The smile on Brian’s face fell slightly but he recovered well. “Yes, would you like me to sign something?” he asked, putting on that persona I had seen at the signing. I bit my lip and took a step out the door. I didn’t need to be in any of their pictures. While I waited for him outside, I paced in the dark, loving the feel of the ocean breeze on my face.

“Ave?” A voice called a few minutes later and I smiled, seeing Brian anxiously looking around for me.

“Over here,” I called, folding my hands in front of me as he jogged towards me. When he reached me he pulled me into his embrace and kissed my lips.

“I’m sorry about that…” he said, looking so apologetic. I couldn’t be mad at him for being famous, and if we were going to be together, I guess I was going to have to get used to him being recognized everywhere.

I shrugged my shoulder and took his hand. “No need to apologize,” I continued, a wicked smirk coming over my face. “I know who you’re going home with tonight.”

Brian chuckled and lead me towards the beach. “Is that so? I thought the blonde might have been a good choice,” he teased and I elbowed him in the side.

“You did not!” I gapped, looking up at him as he laughed.

“You’re right, you were the only one I have eyes for, love,” Brian suddenly scooped me up into his arms and put me on the other side of the rope that separated us from the warm sand. We both quickly pulled off our shoes, instantly enjoying the feeling of the sand between our toes. “Ahh…I’ve missed this.”

“Me too. I honestly couldn’t imagine living anywhere else. I mean, I love the sand, the smell, the ocean, and the sun. There is no place better to live in my opinion,” I said, looking at the moon reflecting in the ocean. I just loved the way the warm breeze was blowing my hair as well.

Brain chuckled and I looked over at him, seeing him shaking his head again. “Well, I could think of one place that might be better for you,” he said and felt my heart swell. “It does involve the sun, the beach, some tropical drinks, and a very handsome guitar player.”

“I am not moving to Hawaii, sorry,” I joked and he simply rolled his eyes at me.

“Fuck, my plan is ruined now.” I stopped and looked at him, putting my hand on my hips and taking a step closer. I loved when we joked around. “Now I’ll just have to find someone else to take with me. Maybe Jimmy will go? He loves those tropical drinks…”

“What?” I asked with a small giggle. What was he talking about? “You’re going somewhere?”

Brian chuckled again, putting his arms around my waist and looking down into my eyes in the moonlight. “I was thinking about it…but it wouldn’t be as fun without you. And since you’re dead set about going to Hawaii…”

I furred my brow, looking back up at him, completely confused now. “Brian…I don’t understand. What are you talking about?”

There was that laugh again. What was I missing? “Ave, what is tomorrow?”

“My-my birthday,” I said slowly, watching Brain closely. “What does that have to do with—“

He sighed and quickly kissed my lips. “I thought on our next break we could sneak away somewhere, just you an me…as part our birthday present,” he shrugged. “Specially since I stopped you from going to the Bahamas…how about we go together?”

A huge smile spread over my face as I tackled him with a kiss. When I pulled away, I quickly planted small kisses all over his face, my heart racing with some completely new emotion that I had never felt in relation to a guy before. “I would love to…” I gushed, feeling extremely excited.

“If I knew you were going to respond like this, I would have taken you home to tell you,” Brian chuckled, holding me up in the air with my legs wrapped around him. “You’re making it very hard to continue this date…specially since we were about to get some ice cream,” he said motioning to a small shack in the distance. “Unless…there is some other kind of desert that you would like?”

His hand moved down and slowly started to trace small circles on my clit through my black lace panties. “What are these?” he asked and even thought the darkness I could see the lust in his eyes.

My heart pounded in my chest and my self-control just snapped. With soft moan, I kissed him hard, grinding my hips into him. I had wanted him since before we left the house and after his amazing date, I couldn’t think of anything else I’d rather do than make love to this man.

“If you keep that up, I’m not going to be able to wait until we get home, love,” Brain moaned between kisses, and I didn’t care. I needed him and wanted him more htan anything. This spark had ignited between us and I didn’t want it to stop.

Brian stumbled through the sand, both of us losing our shoes that we were holding in the process. He quickly carried me back to the car and I yelped with surprise when he pushed me into the back seat of his car.

“What are you doing, Brian?” I giggled as he lips ravished my neck and any exposed skin from dress. His lips were leaving a little trail of kisses. “There are people around…we can’t do it here. Someone might see us!” I moaned, hating the idea of waiting.

“Sure we can. It’s dark and no one is gonna care anyway. Besides, you’ve been making me crazy all night and I’m not waiting until we get home!” Brian growled, tapping the windows. “Besides I have tinted windows…this will be our warm up.”

“I can’t believe you’re doing this!”

“We’re doing this love…you’ve been driving me insane all night and I’ve got to have you,” he breathed, closing the door and sliding over to me. This was one of the single most hottest things that I have ever done. Would Maya be proud of me for this? Something told me she would.

As soon as the car door closed, Brian’s lips crashed down on mine, kissing me in a fierce and hungry way. Our teeth crashed together as we hurriedly fumbled with our close, until my dress was pulled up and Brian’s pants were at his knees. When Brian brought his throbbing erection up to my core, I let out a moan, feeling his size.

“Mmm…you’re all wet for me you dirty girl. You secretly like breaking all the rules with me, don’t you?” Brian rasped, turning me on even more. He was right, his made me want to be bad, in so many ways that I had never even dreamed over before. I would have never thought of fucking in a car to be acceptable, but I couldn’t wait to have him. I need to feel that closeness to him, to make that connection we’ve had all night a reality.

My breathing became ragged as he rubbed his erection between my dripping folds, making me squirm on the warm leather seats. Seconds later he thrust his cock deep inside me. I clamped my eyes shut, whimpering in surrender as he began to fuck me in the back seat of BMW. My hands gripped his shoulders tightly, digging into those sexy monsters inked in his skin, as we found our rhythm. Soon we were kissing deeply as he fucked me, making my eyes roll back in my head and loud moans escape my mouth.

I’d already been on the edge of coming and it only took a few short minutes before I felt the heat of orgasm build in my belly. I held Brian close and hooked my legs behind mine as he plunged hard into me.

“Come on, Brian. Fuck me, fuck me hard, baby. I want to feel you come!” I moaned, feeling my orgasm rising. Moments later, I felt the sweet darkness engulf me as Brian’s body became hard and drove his cock deep inside of me, spilling his seed. It was an incredible moment, leaving us both panting in each other’s arms.

“Damn,” Brian rasped, looking in my eyes and running a hand down my cheek. “That was fucking hot…and I hope you’ll be read for more when we get home…”

“I was hoping you were going to say that,” I said with a smirk, helping him pull his pants back up. When I went to reach for the back belt loop, my hand rested on a long box in his back pocket. “What’s this?” I asked, pulling it out as he buttoned his pants.

“I was going to wait until later, but since you’re nose today,” Brian teased, poking my nose. “This is the other part of your birthday gift. The first part was the trip, the second part is this…” He motioned to the black box I held in my hand, my fingers trembling slight. “Unless you want to wait until tomorrow?”

“No, I’ll open it now,” I smirked, the curiosity getting the better of me. I opened the box to see a gold necklace with my name on it. It was one of the most beautiful things I had ever seen. “Brian…” I gasped, covering my mouth with my hands. “It’s beautiful.”

“You like it?” He asked, his eyes meeting mine as he pushed his hair out of his face.

“Like it? I love it!” I threw my arms around his neck and kissed him. “Thank you!” He carefully took it out of the box and put it around me neck. I looked down at it, admiring it and his tastes. It really was perfect.

“Anything for my girl, now let’s get out of here because I am not done with you, little one,” he chuckled, climbing over the seat and starting the car.

The ride home was a huge tease, both of our hands wandering each other’s bodies as we worked each other up. I swear if I let him, Brian could make me cum just by playing with my nipple. When we pulled into the driveway, we both jumped out of the car, our lips instantly gluing together as we met at the threshold. Brian scooped me up into his arms, banging and crashing into everything in the little hallway.

“I have to have you,” he rasped and I nodded, feeling my back slam against the wall. I wanted to feel that magical connection all over again. It was then that I heard a loud crash of the vase next to me and I giggled an apology.

“Brian?”

Brian and I instantly pulled apart, looking at each other. “Who was that?” I whispered, hearing the deep voice call Brian’s name again.

“Fuck, this cant be happening right now,” Brian sighed, just as a man walked around the corner from the living room with a little Maltese in his arms.

“Brian where the hell have you been?—Oh, I’m sorry,” the man said, a dirty smirk falling over his features as he spotted me. I quickly adjusted myself and tried to hide the huge blush on my cheeks. “I didn’t know you had company.”

“And I didn’t know you meant that you were coming over tonight. I thought we agreed on tomorrow morning?” Brian hissed, pinching the bridge of his nose. “I’m so sorry Ave.”

“Ave was it?” The man chuckled, sounding a lot like Brian.

“Avery actually. Avery Jacobson,” I corrected, watching the man’s eyes grow.

“You’re Larry’s daughter?” he gapped, looking between Brian and I. I could see the warning looking in Brian’s eyes but I didn’t understand why. Who was this guy?

“Yes…and who are you?” I asked boldly, surprising myself.

“Ave…this is my dad. Brian Haner Sr.”
