Renae's POV

I was sitting at one of the tables in the food court drinking a smoothie. Yeah I know I was suppose to meet up with Emilia at the new cafe but hey when a girl's thirsty, she gets what she wants. Anyway, the mall was literally packed. It felt like I was at Warped Tour again trying not to bump into too many sweaty people. Good thing it's not super packed here.

I finished my smoothie and stood up. I walked over to the garbage to throw the empty cup away. As I was about to turn around and go into another store, I felt a hand pull me back. I got turned around and a pair of lips were pressed onto mine.

I was going to smack whoever the idiot was that thought he could kiss me out of nowhere. But once he pulled away, I smiled seeing it was Zacky. He was wearing a Vengeance University t-shirt, dark blue jeans that were rolled up at the bottom of both pant legs, and black sneakers.

“Um hi there. Nice of you to greet me with such a wonderful surprise.” I said with a fake angry look on my face but giggled and wrapped my arms around his neck. He grinned and wrapped his arms around my waist.

“Well when I saw you, I wasn't sure it was really you at first. So I had to do what I had to do. And it worked.” He winked. Just being in his arms was wonderful. We let each other go and walked side by side around the mall for a bit.

I needed a new pair of bras and panties so I headed towards Victoria's Secret. I looked over my shoulder and noticed Zacky had stopped walking. He arched his eyebrow at me. I decided to mess with him.

“Aww is Zacky too scared to go into a store with me? With all this sexy lingerie?” I slowly walked towards him. His eyes watched my every move as I got closer. “It's a shame. Thought you'd love to see me in something amazing.” I winked. I tiptoed up to his lips and kissed him before heading into the store.

I started looking through the racks of lingerie, bras, and panties. Zacky had followed behind then stood there not really knowing what to do. I picked up something a showed him.

“So what do you think of these?” I asked showing him a red laced bra with matching panties. There were both see through. He stared at them for a while.

From what it looked like, he was drooling a bit. Probably imagining me in them. I smirked and lightly hit his arm. “Get your mind out of the gutter Vengeance!” I joked.

Zacky soon snapped out of it and smiled. I decided to get 1 black bra, 1 green bra, and 2 panties that matched with them. I left Zacky and walked up to the cashier lady to pay. I heard a squeal as I took my money out and gave it to the lady.

I looked over my shoulder and saw a brunette girl who was around the age of 18 or 19 wanting to take a picture with him. He nodded and the girl's friend who was a blonde took a picture of them.

Although he looked like he was starting to feel uncomfortable when she was flirting with him. I turned around and walked a little closer to them to see what was going on. “Hey Zacky, how about you come back to our place for a while? We can get to know each other real well.” The brunette grinned and slowly had her hand move down his body.

“Uhh no thanks, I'm actually here with my girlfriend.” He said not looking at her. The blonde then spoke up. “Oh she wouldn't mind if we had a little fun with you.” She said as she licked her lips.

I felt like I was going to puke. Time to play along. I walked closer to them, swaying my hips in a seductive way. Zacky noticed me coming over and smirked watching me. I watched as he licked his lips and I winked.

“Hey baby, I'm ready to go if you are?” I walked over to him, pulling him towards my body. He pressed his lips against mine and pulled away. “Of course. Let's get out of here babe.” We held hands and walked out of the store.

I looked back and the two girls were dumbfounded. Once we got far away enough, we began to laugh. “Wow that was awesome.” He said and I nodded in agreement. “It sure was. We should do that more often.” I slowly stopped laughing when I realized I wanting something more with him. He noticed then held my face hands in his.

“I really like you Renae...no not like...love. From the moment I laid eyes on you. The moment our fingers touched. I felt an electricity pulse through me. I've never had that with anyone before.” I bite my lip and closed my eyes. Was he now confessing his feelings to me? Pinch me I must be dreaming.

“Zack...I feel the same way about you. Your personality, you're body, you're overall amazing to me. I'm in love with you.” It felt like time froze as I realized what I said. I slowly looked up at him. He was staring at me. That same stare he did at the club when he looked like he saw a ghost.

I knew it was too early to say it to him. “I-I'm so sorry.” I said and pulled my face away from his hands, hurrying away from him. I started hearing him call my name but didn't want to stop. Gosh I was so stupid to say it so early.

I headed over towards the cafe only to bump into someone. I looked up and noticed it was Arin. Emilia wasn't too far behind following him. Arin smiled when he noticed it was me but his facial expression soon changed when he saw the sad look on my face.

He pulled me into a hug. I knew Zacky had followed me because I heard him talking to Arin. We all walked inside. I noticed Matt was sitting at a table by himself. When he saw us, he waved.

I pulled away from Arin. “You and Emi go hang out with Matt and Zacky. I want to be by myself for right now.” Arin looked at me for a minute then nodded before pulling Emilia with him to sit with the guys. She didn't want to leave me alone but knew that I deserved some space right now.

I walked over to the counter where the cashier was and ordered my food. I got a ham and cheddar sandwich with salad on the side and a small latte. Once my food was ready, I took it and walked over to my table. Zacky had walked passed me when I was heading to my table.

He looked like he was about to say something but decided against. His head hung low for a little bit until he had to order his food.

As I took a bite of my sandwich, I heard heavy foot steps heading towards my table. I stared down at my food, continuing to eat. Once the person sat down across from me, I slowly looked up. My eyes grew wide.

“Well hello Renae. So nice to see you in here.” Ben said as he took a sip of his coffee. Of all people, he decided to sit at the table I'm at. I scoffed and finished off my sandwich. I looked from the corner of my eye and noticed Zacky was looking furious. Arin looked like he was about to pounce. Emi was keeping quiet while Matt had a confused look on his face as he looked from Arin to Zacky.

I took another sip of my latte and sat back in my seat. Not looking at him. “I would say the same about you. But nice wouldn't be the right word. More so...hmm...awfully disgusted.” I began to start eating my salad.

Ben laughed at that and took my chin in his hand, making me stop eating and slowly pulled my face up to look at him. “Listen, I know what you saw was fucked up and I'm sorry for that. Will you forgive me please?”

Is he serious? That image was burned in my mind for life and has given me nightmares every since I left his ass. Yet he still seems to not know when to give up and let go! I glared at him and pulled my face away. Suddenly I was no longer hungry.

I took the rest of my food and threw it away. Ben had followed behind me. “Come on Ren, I missed you. I want to be in your life again. I want to be...with you.” I turned to look at him. He looked sincere when he said that. But looks could also be deceiving. I shook my head.

“No way in hell am I ever going to be with you again. Yeah I'll forgive you for being stupid but that's it. Nothing more.” I was about to walk out when he grabbed my arm. I felt his hand start to squeeze a little. It was starting to hurt.

“Let me go Ben.” I said, trying to pull away. He laughed and shook his head. “Not until you give me a chance, Ren.” We stood there staring at each other for a while. People in the cafe were now looking at us.

A smile slowly appeared on my face. He was taken aback from my little action but soon smiled as well. I moved closer to him. He bent down to my height to hear what I had to say.

“You want to know my answer? Well here it is!” I said before grabbing my latte and throwing it into his face. I pulled my arm away from him and walked away. Couldn't believe I wasted a good latte but eh it was worth it.

I walked out of the cafe. I was so angry that I felt like punching someone after that. Who did he think he is trying to treat me like he owned me? A good old slap in the face and kick to the groin would be my answer to that.

Arin and Emilia soon followed along with Matt and Zacky not too far behind. They lead us through a door that lead to the side of Hot Topic. There was a room that had refreshments on the table and couches. Even a tv. Hooray for television!

I walked over to the couch and sat down. Zacky was talking to Johnny for a bit before he got himself a beer. He came over and sat down near me on the same couch. Emilia had found Brian and they were heading outside the room to talk somewhere private. Johnny and Arin decided to go outside to get some fresh air. Matt went behind them and was talking to Val on the phone.

It was just Zacky and me in the room now. I buried my face into my hands as the memories slowly started to pour in. Why did Ben have to appear back into my life? I was happier without him.

“Ren look at me.” Zacky said quietly. I shook my head, still covering my face. “Renae please...” He said, sounding sad. I reluctantly gave in and slowly looked up at him. He moved a strand of hair behind my ear. He took a deep breath. “I'm sorry for how I reacted earlier. I just...it was amazing to hear you say those words to me.”

I nodded. My eyes went wide at realization. What was he trying to say? “What I'm saying is that...I feel the same. I'm...in love with you too Ren.” A smile slowly crept my face. He actually felt the same as I did for him. I slowly moved towards him. He imitated my moves and soon we shared a kiss. It lasted for a good minute until we pulled away.

“I'm going to get something to drink.” I said before getting up. He nodded as he decided to turn on the tv and watch some talk show. I grabbed a can of Dr. Pepper and opened it, taking a quick sip. As I was about to walk back, my head started to hurt.

I stood there for a minute then continued to walk only to have that headache come back. Was I sick or caught a really bad cold? Not too long after that my vision became blurry. I left my drink on the table and tried to walk back towards where Zacky was, sitting on the couch.

I then stopped walking and stood there in the middle of the room. I took a few deep breathes and was starting to feel light headed. I heard Zacky yelling out my name and ran over to me as I blacked out onto the floor.

Ben has lost his mind, Zacky has finally confessed his feelings, and...what the hell happened to Renae? A whole lot of stuff happening here (sort of). Stay tuned for more later...
