Zacky's POV

As I watched Renae suddenly faint, it was like watching a car wreck in slow motion. I had to think fast. “REN!” I yelled out to her. I ran over to her and caught her in my arms before she hit the floor. Brian had come back into the room and stopped when he noticed me holding Renae in my arms on the floor. “What happened?” He hurried over to us.

“I-I don't know. One minute I told her that I'm in love with her, the next she got up to go get something to drink and suddenly fainted.” I said as I closed my eyes. I was worried. I didn't want to tell Brian what happened at the cafe before we got here. He'll probably find out from Emilia anyway.

I had a feeling that was the reason why she stood up and started pacing. Ever since she had been dealing with her ex, it got her worked up. Just what I thought anyway.

I watched as Brian quickly took out his phone and called an ambulance. Then I realized Emilia came to the mall with her. Crap how are we going to break it to her?

Brian put his phone back into his pocket. “They'll be here in a few minutes.” I nodded. We sat there in silence for a bit until the paramedics soon came through. Emilia walked in after them trying to find out what was going on.

When she saw me holding Renae, she nearly broke down into tears. She was about to walk over to us but Brian stopped her. He whispered something into her ear and she nodded. Brian gave me a smile then walked out of the room with Emilia.

I watched the paramedics put her onto the gurney and rolled her out of the room and into the hall. Matt, Johnny, Val, Emi, and Brian watched us go. Arin wanted to come with us but Kimberly pulled him back. “Don't worry babe, I think he's got this.” I heard her say to him.

The paramedics put her into the back of the ambulance. I followed in and sat there by her side. As we took off, I heard a voice. “Zacky...” I looked down at Renae and saw that she was trying to reach for my hand. I took her hand in mine and kissed it.

“Everything's going to be alright. I'm here babe.” We finally arrived at the hospital and they quickly took her in. I wanted to follow but one of the nurses stopped me and had me wait in the waiting room. I sighed and nodded, understanding that they were going to do a few tests to see if there was anything wrong.

I walked over to a chair in the waiting area and sat down. I hope Renae's alright.

Brian's POV

I held Emi close to me as we watched the paramedics carry Renae out on the gurney with Zacky walking behind them. I can sense Arin next to me as he looked like he was about to break down.

“I'm getting some air.” I heard him mumble as he walked out in the back. Kimberly wanted to go after him but Johnny stopped her to let her know that he needs a little time to be by himself. She nodded then walked back into the room.

Matt and Val walked off heading back into Hot Topic to hang out there for a while. Looks like we're not going to be doing the signing today without Zacky. I sighed and walked with Emilia out into the mall. “You okay Emi?” I asked her. She nodded her head.

“Yeah I'm fine. It's just...all that happened so fast. Ben just being there, Ren feeling like she was going to be destroyed all over again. It's too much going on.” She rubbed her eyes.

“Let's hope we don't get to do this signing today. Cause if I see that guy, I'll kick his ass.” That earned a giggle from Emilia. I smiled. We continued to walk when I noticed someone standing next to a guy with their arms wrapped around their waist. Michelle.

I coughed then lead Emilia the other way. “Let's head back to where everyone else is. They must wonder where we are.” She nodded and we walked back into the backroom area.

I let go of Emilia and soon was met with Val and Matt. “Hi I don't think we've met yet. I'm Valary, Matt's wife.” Emilia smiled and was about to shake her hand but was met with a hug instead. “Nice to meet you.” She stuttered a bit.

Val pulled away and smiled. “No need to be shy around me. We're all family here.” She looked at me and winked. I stuck my tongue out at her and smirked.

“Well we rescheduled the signing to tomorrow. Since Zacky's not here, we can't do it without him.” Matt said to me. I nodded. We went our separate ways as Matt went to go tell Johnny and Arin.

I decided to ride home with Emi since I got a ride from Matt and Arin went with Johnny in his car. We went back to her apartment and just laid out on the couches.

I slowly sat up. “So what do you want to do now that I got all this free time?” I watched Emilia think about it and a grin slowly formed on her lips. She stood up and reached behind the couch, pulling up 2 Nerf guns. She tossed me one and I caught it, raising my eyebrows. I was going to ask what are we doing with these when I felt something hit me. I looked down and a Nerf dart was sitting at my feet.

Slowly looking up, I felt another one hit me on my chest. Emilia stood there with an evil smirk on her face while holding the Nerf gun.

“Oh you're going to get it now!” I started shooting the darts at her. She squealed and tried to avert them, running away from me. One of the darts I shot hit her back as she was running.

We continued on for a good 30 minutes until we were exhausted. We picked up all the darts that were on the floor and put them away along with the Nerf guns. I sat on the couch and laid back.

Emilia walked over and sat next to me. “I'm worried about Ren. Seems like so much has happened to her ever since that loser came back into her life.” I nodded in agreement.

“Yeah. From what Zacky has told me, he's been trying to get her back. But from what Arin has told me since he's known her for a long time...Ben is bad news.” I sighed. I was starting to become good friends with these girls and knowing that Renae was going through shit in her life at the moment, all I wanted to do was hug her.

Although I have shit of my own I have to deal with. Still trying to let go of the fact that divorcing Michelle was the right thing for me is hard. Emilia was looking at me when I didn't say anything. “Brian I have something to tell you.” I nodded, still deep in my thoughts. She took a deep breath and spoke.

“I know we've only knew each other for a few days or so but I need to get this out. After getting to know you, I felt that we have a connection. Well what I'm saying is that I really like-”

My phone started making a noise in my pocket. I took it out and looked at it. I got a new message from Zacky.

'Hey man, can you bring my car to the hospital? They're done running some tests on Ren and nothing's wrong with her. So I'd like to bring her home and help her out a bit.' - Zacky
'Yeah sure I'll do that. And that's great! I'll call up Johnny on my way there so he can bring my car after I drop off yours. - Brian

I texted back. He then texted me the address to the hospital. I slipped the phone back into my pocket.

“Sorry about that, Zacky texted me saying that everything's good with Ren.” Emilia smiled but I noticed she had a slightly sad look on her face. “Finish what you were telling me.” I said after I realized that I was rude and had stopped her from saying what she was saying. She shook her head.

“It's okay, it's not that important.” She looked down at her hands. I lifted her chin up. “Of course it is. Anything you say is important...to me it is anyway.” I gave her a soft smile.

We stared at each other for a moment. I slowly started to lean forward. She did the same thing. It went on and on for a good minute. Now we were practically inches away from each other. She opened her mouth, about to say something when on impulse I kissed her lips. She was taken back but soon returned the kiss. We pulled away.

“I-I should get going. Gotta bring Zacky's car to him so he can drive Renae back here. I'll see ya around.” I winked. She smiled and watched me walk out the door and down the stairs.

I walked a few houses down and to Zacky's place where his car was parked out front. Good thing I had a spare key. The guys and I always did that with each other if one of us was super wasted and couldn't drive home. I opened the door and got in, driving off to the hospital.

Zacky's POV

- A few hours later -

I must have fallen asleep because when I felt a hand on my shoulder shake me, it woke me up. I rubbed my eyes and slowly looked up. Brian stood there looking like he just had a work out. “Syn...I must be in hell, I see you here.” I joked. He shoved me a little and laughed. “Hell would have frozen over with my awesomeness.” He joked back and stuck his tongue out.

“Well anyway, the car's parked up front in the parking lot. Tell Ren I hope she get well soon. I'll see ya later.” He said before heading out of the hospital. A car pulled up in front near the automatic doors. Johnny got out of the driver's side then walked around and sat in the passenger's side. Brian got into the driver's side then they drove off to meet up with the rest of the guys.

I decided that I wanted to stay with Renae though to make sure she's doing alright before meeting with the others. Renae and I walked out of the hospital and towards the parking lot. Turns out she had passed out due to be stressed and overwhelmed. Nothing too bad which was good. Overall she was fine.

We were walking pretty slow but I didn't care. Just holding her close to me as we walked made me feel happy. We headed into the parking lot and I opened the door for her. She slowly got inside. I closed her door once she sat down and quickly got into the driver's side.

Starting up the car, I looked at her. I took her hand in mine and kissed the back of it. She smiled as she looked over at me. We began to drive off heading home. We sat there not really talking too much. I could hear her unsteady breathing as she looked out the window.

As we soon arrived in front of the apartment, Renae got out and wanted to go walk up the stairs. I thought of a better idea. I locked the car up and walked over to her. I scooped her up carrying her bridal style up the stairs. She gasped at the sudden action but relaxed and laid her had against my chest.

She held her keys out to me. I took them and opened the door. I threw them onto the counter and walked up more stairs going to her room. Opening the door, I gently laid her down on the bed. “Thanks for being there with me.” She said quietly.

I nodded. “Anything for a lovely lady.” I smirked. She giggled at that. We sat there staring at each other. I looked at her body up and down. Man I wanted her so badly. But I didn't want to rush into it. I want to be with this girl for a while until we can make that next step.

I sat next to her on the bed. We stared at each other not knowing what to do. That's when she moved closer to me and kissed me. I slowly closed my eyes. Fuck it, I don't care. I want her now!

I returned the kiss, deepening it. She wrapped her hands around my neck and I wrapped my arms around her waist, pulling her closer to my body. It got into a full on make out session. I pulled away from her lips and started leaving kisses on her neck then biting lightly. She moaned at the feeling.

I moved back onto attacking her lips with mine, our tongues fighting for dominance. I ended up winning and took full control. My hands started to wander up her tank top.

“Hey Ren I heard what happened and what to see if you're really okay n- whoa there.” Emilia said as she was observing the scene before her while she stood at the door. Rena and I quickly pulled away.

I scratched the back of my head and looked the other way while Renae's face was a light shade of red and she was trying to hide it. Emilia grinned. “Well I'll leave you two love birds alone.” She waved then walked into her room.

“Well that was interesting.” I spoke, finally finding my voice. Renae laughed at that. “Yeah it sure was.” I decided to stay with her for another hour or so then had to leave. I had to meet up with the guys to talk about some things.

But I didn't want to go. I didn't want to leave her. I knew she was in good hands with her friend Emilia there to take care of her. We said our goodbyes and I gave her one last kiss before I left.

The barbecue was next week and even though we were going a bit fast, I wanted to make it official and ask her to be my girlfriend. Then we can go at a slow and steady pace. The anticipation was killing me for that day to come.

Ben's POV

I couldn't believe she threw her drink at me. All I wanted was to talk to her and convince her that I want to be with her again. But sadly, she's wasn't having it and didn't bother to hear me out. I was drenched in the drink she threw at me. The manager of the cafe was nice enough to hand me a towel to dry myself off. I was grateful for that.

Once I got down drying myself, I handed the manager back the towel and quickly walked out of the cafe. A few people were asking for my autograph's as I passed by them but I wasn't in the mood.

I headed out to one of the backrooms near Hot Topic and quickly grabbed some clothes and went outside towards the tour bus. I went int and right into the bathroom. As I was changing out of my wet clothes, I heard the door to the bathroom open. I didn't bother to look to see who it was since I already knew who.

“Hey baby, I've been looking for- wow what happened to you?” Rhiannon asked as she noticed I was changing out of wet clothes, my hair soaking wet. I looked at her for a minute before shaking my head and got into the shower.

“Nothing. Just having a bad day is all...” I said before turning on the water. I then heard the door lock. Poking my head out I saw that she was starting to take off her clothes. Wanting to join me. I put my hand out to stop her. “No babe, I want to be left alone right now thank you.”

She arched an eyebrow at me. “But I want to make you feel better. You know I always do. Even when you were dating that good for nothing bit-”

I didn't want to hear it anymore. I stopped her before she could finish that sentence. “I said get the fuck out and leave me alone!” I yelled. She was startled at me reaction at first. Her mood changed quickly as she huffed and put her clothes back on. She stormed out of the bathroom, slamming the door behind.

I stood there as the hot water poured down over my body. Just thinking about why Renae won't take me back. I want her in my life so badly. She completed me and I knew she had felt the same way. Gosh this was getting to the point where I may have to take drastic measure.

Grabbing the shampoo, I began to wash my hair as I thought of what to do. After I had washed my hair and washed my body as well, I turned off the water and got out. Quickly drying myself with a towel and put on some clean clothes. I had on a black Transformers shirt and black slightly baggy jeans.

I put on some socks and slid on my black boots before heading out of the bathroom. I was about to get off the bus when my manager came onto the bus.

“Hey Ben, we're rescheduling the signing. Something happened on Avenged Sevenfold's side so they're waiting until everything's under control.” He said. I nodded as I watched him hop off the bus.

I sat in the dinning area on the bus and started to think. My eyes then wandered onto some papers that were on the table. I picked them up and looked at it. A smile slowly came onto my face as I was reading what was on the paper. This will definitely be my ticket to getting Renae back.
