Matt’s POV

I woke up to someone knocking on my door and I opened my eyes to see what time it was, I was sure I set an alarm this morning, had I been so tired that I didn’t hear it?!

My eyes slowly adjusted and I realized that it was still dark outside, who the hell would that be?!
I pushed the sheets away and moved over to the door, whoever that was, I would fuckin’-

-kiss!

“Hey… I’m sorry…” Selena stood in my doorway and her eyes opened a little wider and then moved up and down my body.

I was just wearing my boxers and felt her eyes roam over my body, making my still sleepy mind working in overdrive, while all the blood tried to run south, as fast as it could.

“Shit.. don’t apologize… come in.” I quickly pulled her inside and she gave me a half smile.
“You missed me that much that you had to come and see me? And don’t get me wrong, because I like that” I smirked while grabbing a sweatpant and pulled it on while Selena was just watching me.

I was wondering why she didn’t say anything, normally I would get a dumb answer for my phrase, but she was quiet and when I looked into her face she looked frustrated and confused.

“What’s wrong? What happened?” I walked over to her and took her small shoulders in my hands.
“I don’t know how to say this.. or what to say honestly… I mean…” Selena shook her head and I was getting worried.
I gently pulled her to me and lay my arms around her body, she melted into me and gave a small sigh “That’s what I needed” She said after a while pulling away.

“Will you tell me what happened and what brough you here?” I asked and she breathed deeply in and out.
“Please Selena, something must be wrong, now tell me.” I gently pushed her to my bed and sat her down.
“You want something to drink?” I walked towards the fridge, she was still not talking and I was babbeling again, this woman was making a mess out of me…

“Yes, please water.” She looked at me with a small smile and I nodded, handing her a water and looked with a sideglance at the clock it was not even 5 in the morning, no wonder it was still dark outside, and why was she here, it really must be something important, right?!

I let myself fall down on the bed beside her and looked at her profile, she looked exhausted as if she hadn’t slept at all this night.
“I’m sorry… I shouldn’t have come here.. and not in the middle of the night… but I didn’t know where else to go and I couldn’t sleep…” She finally talked and I was just glad to hear her voice.

“I’m glad you came here, now tell me why you couldn’t sleep? Has it something to do with that ex of yours?” I asked and dradded the answer, it wasn’t the best option talking about the ex with your new boyfriend.

Boyfriend?
Am I her new boyfriend?
We would find that out in the next days, I was pretty sure… Or I wanted to make sure of that.

“No.. no… It’s about Brian. I was already asleep when I heard the front door open and I waited for a while and heard his voice… I thought he might have a fight with Sam or something and when I walked out he was crouching there, he looked devasted, we talked for a little bit and he was so confused and told me he loved Sam, but I couldn’t tell her about it, and he couldn’t say anything to her, not now… I don’t really know what to make of all this… I felt it was something important for him, and it sounded like he had been talking to someone outside,but he wouldn’t talk any further to me about it… It was really disturbing, to be honest.. I haven’t seen him like that before…”Selena said and I laid my arm around her shoulder, pulling her into my side.

“I wish I could tell you something that would help, but I still can’t remember Brian or our friendship. I hope it will come back soon.. but I just can’t… but whatever it was what disturbed him tonight, I bet he will figure out a way to deal with it…” I brushed the hair from her face and Selena sighed.

“I hope you are right.” Selena got up from the bed and paced the room, I had to chuckle seeing her walk like that, Brian and Sam really meant a lot to her and I liked that she was so close to her friends and only wanted the best for them.

“I should go now” Selena said suddenly and moved towards the front door, I quickly got up from the bed and moved into her way, she nearly bumped into me.
“I think you should stay… I mean… we can drive together to Sam and Brian, maybe we can talk to Zack and Jimmy about this, before we drive there, right?”
“You are trying everything to keep me here, huh?” Selena smiled and I grinned back, finally a little of her playful side came back out.

“I would try everything” I admitted and she lay her hand on my arm “Fine, I’ll stay. I will send Sam a quick message, so she is not worried when she get’s up, but don’t get your hopes up, Mr.” With that Selena turned around and moved to my bed. I rubbed my hands together, let’s see…

Sam’s POV

I woke up the next morning and felt restless, I knew I slept good after Brian and I made love, but right now I felt that I haven’t slept at all, like something was wrong, but I couldn’t put a finger on it.
“Babe?” I looked to the side and found the bed empty.
I really hated when he did that, why didn’t he just wake me when he got up.

I made my way downstairs and found Brian flipping through TV channels “Ethan called, he will take over some of your meetings, so you can stay home.”

“Oh, thanks… hey… why didn’t you wake me?” I asked and Brian shrugged “You looked like you needed the sleep, I didn’t want to disturb you. It’s not that late anyway…”

I plopped down next to Brian on the couch and kissed his cheek, he gave me a small smile, but looked distanced, he wouldn’t meet my eyes.

“Are you okay? Is something wrong?” I asked and he shook his head “I’m good. Didn’t sleep that well, but that’s all.. and you? Feeling good?”Brian asked and I nodded, but saw he was lying.

“So what did Ethan say? Should I call him back and… wait a second.. where the hell is Selena? Why is she not sleeping here on the couch?” I looked around, saw the blanket folded next to the couch, where did she go?

“She sent you a message, that she is at her store early, needing to take care of some thing… and will be back before 10 so she is here when the guys arrive, oh and she will bring breakfast, so you don’t have to do that.” Brian said absently while his eyes were still fixed on the tv.

“Oh.. okay.. that doesn’t sound like her at all… she is never in time and she never get’s up early… well everything got a first, right?” I smiled and Brian nodded “Yeah, probably… or she is with Matt.” Brian shrugged.

“You think she went after him?” I looked at him mouth hanging open and Brian lifted an eyebrow “I will find out, and if… I will have a serious talk with that guy, that’s for sure.”
I smiled and thought it was adorable that Brian wanted to take care of Selena, like a big brother, Selena would be happy knowing that… well or not, if that really was the case with Matt, then it would be pretty awkward…

“So what time is it?” I looked at the clock and saw it was aftr 8, if I wanted to get some work done, and call Ethan back, I needed that time… and afterwards we would start again to gain more of Brian’s past and memories, I couldn’t wait to find more out about him, maybe that’s why Brian was acting a little weird, because he knew that maybe today was the day, when he would remember…
