Banned in a book

Brian's POV

I had the feeling that Sam still wasn’t convinced that she shouldn’t feel bad about what happened and that I was thinking what she was thinking… was making my head spin and not in a good way.
I didn’t like the thought that she would regret the sex we had, because I was definitely planning on repeating that.

I haven’t felt this good in a long time and I wouldn’t let her ruin this…
I followed her downstairs straightened my clothes and ran my hands threw my hair. I didn’t know what to expect from Sam’s friend, even though I had the joy to talk to Selena before and she was the one finding me, I still didn’t know how it would be when we met really face to face.

I quickly got the answer when Sam opened the door and Selena nearly stormed inside and hugged her enthusiastically.
“Babe!” She yelled and I frowned a little at the two girls hugging, showing their affection. I couldn’t say I didn’t like it.
“Where is he?” Selena looked around and saw me standing next to the door and I couldn’t hide the smile when she approached me and looked me up and down.
“Wow… He is… even more handsome then he looked on the book.” She whispered and I heard Sam cough.
“Well, hello… It’s nice to finally meet you…in person.” I grinned and Selena’s eyes widened.
“That voice... wow. Even better then over the phone.” Selena looked at me astonished and now I really couldn’t stop the chuckle that escaped me.
“Selly? Is Trevor not coming?” Sam asked and looked at the still open door.
“Oh yes, he is still in the car, he just got a phone call from work. He will be here every second… but now tell me… what the hell? I mean, I was so sure this was real.. it would work… but what the hell… you gotta tell me everything.. and why are you two both still having wet hair?” Selena asked and I saw Sam opening her mouth about to reply when the last question came out and Sam’s cheeks immediately heated up and she looked wide eyed at her best friend.
Selena was sure something, I noticed right away and damn, she was guessing the right way too, I totally liked her from the first sight.

“Sam?” She turned from me to Sam looking at her and I saw Sam shifting from one foot to the other, but before we had to reply anything or Selena could ask another question a tall dark haired guy showed up in the doorway.
“Sorry, babe… That was important.” He moved beside Selena, laying his arm around her and smiled at Sam with a nod “Hey Sam, you look good. Thanks for the invitation”
Then he turned towards me, the smile wavered a little but was back in place the next second, he took a step towards me and held his hand out.
“Hey, I’m Trevor. You met my fiancé already. And you are Brian, right?” He asked and I nodded returning the handshake.
“Yes, nice to meet you finally. Sam told me a lot about you two, shame we didn’t meet earlier but better late than never, right.”
“Yeah, right… Wow, it smells delicious, Sam.” He looked at Sam and I didn’t know why, but this guy rubbed me the wrong way.

“Thanks Trevor, that’s sweet. Come on, take a seat. Everything is prepared. Brian helped me with everything so he is responsible for this as well.” Sam smiled at Trevor and looked over at me, Selena did the same and lifted and eyebrow but gave me also an approving smile.
“Sam is an amazing cook, she doesn’t cook that often anymore, is mostly buried in her work, but I guess you know that already…” Selena said and I smiled, I didn’t know that but I nodded.

We all settled at the table and Sam took the plates and put the spaghetti on each plate as well as sauce expect from her own.
“Why did you do that, Sammy.. you shouldn’t have.” Selena looked disapprovingly at her friend and I frowned at Sam’s plate with only a few noodle on it and nothing else.
“Stop it, it’s okay.” Sam played whatever it was down, but I was curious about this.
“What’s wrong?” I asked looking between the girls back and forth.
“Babe, tell me what’s going on?” And I saw Sam blush at the endearment I called her.
“She made my favorite food.” Selena said as if it would explain everything.
“And?” I looked even more confused between them back and forth.
“And? And she doesn’t even like it… she makes it just because she knows I love it, but then she got nothing to eat, she does that all the time, that’s why I am always ordering food when I’m with her.” Selena explained looking at Sam who just shrugged her shoulders and I had to smile at that, she was such a good friend and I wondered how long these two knew each other… where they friends since they have been little?
Reverend…
Again this name? Thought? Came to my mind out of the blue and I knew, I had to find out what was behind this…

“I’m good.. I’m not that hungry anyway.. Can we now start the dinner, or you wanna keep arguing?”
“Babe, say something” Selena looked at her fiancé and he gave her a kiss to the forehead but not really paying attention to the whole scene as I had seen from the corner of my eye.
“Sam, you shouldn’t have… You know we love everything you cook. Next time, we gonna prepare something nice for you… is that a deal?” Trevor asked putting on this charming smile and I saw Selena and Sam both moon over it and I could only barely hide my groan.. why would these girls fall for this, he didn’t even pay attention to what was going and I knew he was fumbling around with his phone in his hands, trying not to be noticed by the others, but I knew that… done that myself a lot during meetings and… wait what meetings?

Sam’s POV

After we all had eaten and I put everything back into the dishwasher, and we settled into the living room with a glass of wine. I knew that Selena was dying to know everything what was going on between me and Brian and damn I was glad that she couldn’t put me into the questioning because Trevor was with her.
I looked at the couple, him having his arm around her shoulders, absently playing with her hair, while she looked at him with love in her eyes.
He was always the calm one, while Selena was the overly excited and outgoing one, they fitted perfectly and I was jealous about the fact that Selena had found someone that fitted her so good.

I saw Brian glancing at the clock for the thousands time, he seemed bored and I felt a little sorry for him. As it seemed he and Trevor didn’t have much to talk about.
“Brian?” I whispered when Selena and Trevor were distracted.
“Hmm?” He leaned closer to me nearly putting his ear to my mouth.
“Are you okay? Is it bad?” I asked and he chuckled lightly.
“No, I’m fine… I just wished Selena would have come alone, I would have loved to see her grill you with her questions.” Brian chuckled and I playfully shoved him which made him chuckle even more.
“Look at them, babe… So in love…“ Selena’s voice interrupted our moment and she chuckled at my shocked face which I tried to hide again.
“Yeah.. very in love.” Brian confirmed laying his hand on my thigh and I suppressed the need to pull away, because the only thing I could imagine right now was how his hands were moving higher on my thigh and wandering… oh shit.. this thoughts are sooo wrong right now.
“A penny for your thoughts.” Brian murmured, he must have notice my tensing up and his sexy smirk came over his face which made me think of more things I shouldn’t think about - at all!

The ringing of Trevor’s phone was interrupting my thoughts, thankfully. “Babe, shit, work again... I gotta take this real quick. I will go outside to not disturb you. It will hopefully only take a minute.” With that Trevor got up and gave me an apologizing smile.
“His work is so busy during the last weeks…” Selena sighed dramatically and I shook my head.
“Poor you, huh?” I joked which made Selena look if Trevor really left.
“Well… I think you haven’t been much alone lately, am I right? Now spill it, James!” Selena demanded leaning forward and I heard Brian amused chuckle from next to me.
“What? You were right.. Brian is from the book as you can see, he is here… alive… next to me.” I said not really knowing how to explain it myself.
But thankfully Brian took over for me.
“What do you wanna know?” Brian asked and laid his arm around my shoulder, pulling me to his side as if it was the normal thing to do.
“Everything.. but first.. did you two? I mean.. I know you did, just confirm it. I wanna hear the dirty details later from you alone.” Selena pointed at me and while I didn’t give anything away, Brian nodded his head to Selena with another one of his very well known and famous smirks.

Sooo... Here is another update.. a little later but here it is... :)

Just as an information, I won't be updating at the weekend
But will try my best for tomorrow and Monday :)
