I Wish I Could be the One

The guys had been trying to form a band all semester but never seemed to be too serious about it. I feel like they'd be pretty good but they really didn't have a leader... Right now it was Zacky but their practices basically consisted of getting high or drunk.
"Wow auditons. You guys must be serious this time"
"We are and its for real, we having them tomorrow in the upper gym I want you there sis"
"Zacky..."
"Yea I get it Johnny, are you ever going to tell me why you don't want to be around him anymore ever? I practically never see you"
"Well then stop hanging out with Johnny"
"Haha would you rather it just be me and Brian?" He said teasing me
"Shutup Zacky...I'll go to the audtions. But for you and Jimmy!"
"Thanks sis"
It amazed me that despite Jimmy being Zackys friend he didn't mind leaving out of stuff, especially when it came to this Johnny thing. It had been a week since the incident in the hallway and Latin had been such a horrible hour. The tension between me and Johnny was bluntly obvious, but so was he desire to try and fix "us". Well the "us" that didn't really exist. Much to his hate though Brian did start coming to my room a lot. We would watch movies with Jimmy and eventually Jimmy would leave and Brian would ever so subtly creep closer to me. Sometimes he'd grab my hand or I'd rest my head on his shoulder. My naps with Jimmy kinda turned into naps with Brian. I loved the attention from Brian, we could talk about anything and nothing. But whenever we hung out I could still hear Johnny in the back of my head "I'm waiting for you Kat why can't you see that?!" It rings in my ears because it still breaks my heart that a bond like johnnys and mine has come to this. I don't like ignoring him, and I thought I wanted Brian too. But the more I hang with Brian the more I wanted Johnny to be with me, playing with my hair or teasing me the way Brian was.

I sat next to Zacky and Brian, who was sitting next to Jimmy and then Johnny. We had set up two plastic tables with some paper and a list of the auditons sign ins.
"So... What exactly are we looking for?" I asked Zacky
"Well..." He leaned over the table and looked down at me and the guys who seemed to have the same question "let's just see how it goes"
Students came in one by one. I was actually surprised by the amount of people who wanted to join the band. Some actually had talent, too bad there were already two guitars in the band. And I guess a bass with Johnny and Brian usually sang the vocals on anything they actually wrote if not Zacky...
"Oh my god"
"Greeeeat" I heard Johnny said sarcastically under his breath
He was fucking hot. He was perfect tall and well built for someone our age, and well dressed. He strutted in like nothing and I was in complete awe with him.
"Oh shit no way dude what's up?!" Zacky said excitingly
My brother knew him! How? How have I never heard of him? And who was he. I definitely needed an introduction.
"This is Johnny, Jimmy, Brian and this is my favorite twin sister Kat." Zacky said
"Hey" he said kindly but with a smooth undertone scanning each of us.
"How do you know each other?" Brian asked what everyone wanted to know
"He used to go here and we used to hang out before I met you guys. Dude how are you here? I thought you got kicked out?" Zacky said
"Well I'm looking at it as a long suspension" he said with a chuckle looking straight at me..

I couldn't take my eyes off him. He was like a little piece of heaven standing there so prefect and I wanted to die just to be with him. I wanted him. And it probably wasn't hard for him to tell. And I could feel Johnny's eyes on me and him. That was one thing I hated, Johnny knew me too well he already knew I was attracted to him just from the way I kept staring at him.

"Cool...sooo what's your...?" Johnny said rudely and obnoxiously..
"Oh sorry guys this is Matt" Zacky said.
