I Wish I Could be the One

I walked into Latin and went directly to my seat in the back corner smack in between Johnny and Jimmy. Johnny was the first person I met here when I transferred last year. The first thing he said to me was "Hey babe better get to class your already late" with a stare I could not read. He just kind of looked at me up and down before he stopped walking backward and turned around only to chuckle to himself. I was feeling pretty awkward that that had been my first interaction with anyone at this boarding school. I had been a hot mess that morning. The uniform we had to wear didn't fit right and my boobs felt so squished I had to unbutton the top two buttons, something I did not know was against dress code.
I sat through some pretty boring classes but I couldn't help but feel that people kept staring at me. Did I have something in my teeth or was I really just ugly or what the hell. At lunch I had finally ran into my twin brother Zacky. He had already been going here for a year since he got kicked out of the school I transferred from. I ran up to him and he looked at me with such a glare I didn't know what to do.
"What the hell is wrong with you?!" He said to me.
"What? What do you mean?" I wasn't trying to act stupid I just really didn't know why he was so mad.
"Dude button your damn shirt are you trying to flaunt yourself the first day?"
Zacky and I grew up to be really close to each other probably because of the twin thing. But most of the time out parents were always out of town. Even though we were the same age I think he felt bad I never really had my parents around and he became really protective me like an older brother.
"No I'm not my shirt is too small I just-"
"YO ZACK You have to check out this new chick she's pretty hot she looked so damn lost this morning. I was just telling the guys about how her tits were hanging out all over the place and it looked like she didn't even care! We are betting on how many demerits she ge-" Johnny had just ran up and punched Zacky in the arm and as fast as he had said all that Zacky shot me with a what did I tell you look and shook his head.
"Oh so you met her!!" Johnny was clearly too excited.
and before I knew it Zacky had punched him in stomach straight. This was so abnormal to me I had never seen my mostly calm brother do that.
"Johnny don't fucking talk about my sister like that ever again."
Johnny looked so stunned all he could do was look at me and Zacky back and forth. My brother grabbed my arm and we ate lunch together that day.
"Dear god was that necessary?"
"You don't know the guys yet, I don't want them to get the wrong impression of my sister like Johnny obviously did. Now get a new shirt before you get anymore demerits and get detention"
I had snapped back to Latin class and as Johnny sat on my right he stuck out his tongue at me and said "why the long face thing 2?" and I quickly remembered my thoughts before I entered the class room but I couldn't help but laugh as Jimmy smacked the back of his head and said "she saw you dipshit"
I wasn't good at Latin but I loved going to Latin to be in the seat I was in. When it came down to it I hung out with my brother and his friends all the time. Maybe a few girls here and there. My life at school had somehow revolved around the boys and I kinda loved it. But I guess it was also what had gotten me to trouble.
